DANTE COMPUTER REVOLUTION

I first called on Monday morning at 8:35 am. They open at 8:30am. No answer so I left a voice mail. I never got a response back from the voice mail and waited until 1030 am. I am a stock trader and need the computer for my business. They dont appear business friendly if 1. they are not open at their opening time or 2. They dont return their voicemail's in a timely manner. I later did call around 10.30 am and they said they were in. When one is running a business time is very important. The only reason I went there was because it was close. I explained that I had problems on startup. The tech recommended that I reload Vista and that a check of the computer was warranted. He did not think he would be able to get it started up and said I likely had a corrupted file. I agreed and had them do a check and install of Vista. I am not real computer savvy so perhaps my original software could have been saved, I dont know. The tech said it would take two days to do this. Well thats what it took. Other companies I have used it takes a day at most for this type of service. The other odd thing is other companies I have used offer to install an anti virus software. For what ever reason they dont offer this service. I asked about a warranty on their work and the tech said no more than 2 days because it was software related. The shop was neat and orderly, no problems there. I was not really impressed overall, thought I paid to much, and the repair options,response could have been quicker.

I thought they were very knowledgeable and the price was adequate.

I was in the market for a used lap top for home use and simple applications. Paid over $700.00 for the computer, to have it inspected, tested and ready for wireless use. Computer worked well for about 3 weeks with very minimal use. One day the computer worked well, the next day I booted and "Nothing". The hard drive suddenly failed. I had to pay another $200 to have the hard drive replaced. Got the computer back and several applications no longer worked, was unable to burn data to a disk. When I called the company they sounded put out and didn't feel they should have to do any work without me paying more money. That my warranty was only for 30 days and only good from the time I ordered the computer, not when I picked it up which was a week later. Almost $1000 later I have a computer that works sometimes. Very disappointed.
