CLEAN EDGE

Initially, Sophia and her team were great. It's why we hired them and kept them, even through a move. In fact, the two women that did the actual work were always very nice and sweet. Our issue is entirely in Sophia, the owner. She is highly judgemental and she started to comment inappropriately on various aspects of our life. For example, I was very clear and upfront that we have two large, furry dogs. This wasn't an issue for her to get the job, but ultimately she would start to complain about how messy they were, how much work they caused, etc. (Let's not forget this is a house cleaning service! If we didn't have the dogs, I wouldn't need to hire a service!) And as the quality of her service declined she became more and more difficult. For example, she yelled at my husband for not cleaning the vacuum cleaner -- OUR vacuum cleaner-- and having it ready for her. She would make us fetch her additional supplies, such as paper towels or Windex, even though we had showed her multiple times where we stored those items. Her team stayed for less and less time, and started skipping whole rooms, like the living room/dining area. They often were out the door within 90 minutes, which is definitely not enough time for the size house we have. When I would talk to her about it, she would lie and deny that they had done shoddy work. I had to start taking pictures of the sloppy work, which she couldn't refute. She always talked about her other "larger" clients, which indicated to me that we were not a priority and that she didn't care about the quality of their work in our home. The last straw was when we were on vacation and she said horrible things about our family to our friend that was house/dog sitting while we were away. They were absolutely hateful comments. Someone with that little respect and who brings that much hate and disdain is not welcome in our home. I fired her that day, and it was like a weight was off our shoulders. We no longer dread having the cleaning service come or try to avoid interaction because we no longer have to deal with such a hateful person. I would definitely think twice about using this company. My regret is that we didn't make a change sooner (the downside of a busy household!) and that we put up with some really bad behavior for far too long. While the women that do the work were very nice and respectful, the owner is unreasonable, disrespectful, inflexible and frankly, just down right mean. My hope is that this review prevents someone else from being treated the way me and my family were.

Clean Edge comes to my house every other week. These ladies do a great job. Are very quick and very thorough every time. I love coming home to a sparkling house.

We have used Clean Edge every other week for the past two years. They are fantastic! They are reliable, thorough and notice every detail. They go beyond my expectations, particularly because we have two large, furry, slobbery dogs. The owner is at our home for every service, and she takes a personal interest in making sure her team is meeting the needs of our family. Her team gets right to work and works hard until our entire house is clean. Unlike other cleaning services we have used that start to decline in quality after the first few months, Clean Edge has done a consistently outstanding job since the very first time.

Sylvia and her crew have been cleaning our home now for about 6 months, every 2 weeks. The first cleaning was more expensive and thorough, but they continue to do a good job cleaning our two story townhome of appox 2000 sq. ft. Sylvia is the supervisor, drives the women to our house, and makes sure that everything is done correctly each time. She was good about calling to confirm schedules and performance the first several times. I trust Sylvia and think this is a good reliable housecleaning service.

I was not happy with them. The owner was very rude. They destroyed my floors; they kicked my nice furniture with the vacuum cleaner. There are dents and my floors have scratches. The owner in conversation was rude and not responsive at all. It was an expensive 200 dollars. I would not use this company again.

The team at Clean Edge has been absolutely fantastic! Unlike other services I have used, the quality of their work has been consistent, thorough and top-notch. They take an interest in our individual needs. For example, we have two large dogs (one that is very slobbery) and so they have started to spot clean the walls when they notice dog slobber. No other cleaning service that I have used would do this!! They are completely reliable and punctual, and willing to accomodate schedule changes, if they can. They arrive and get right to work, and continue to work very hard while they are here. After having several mediocre experiences with other cleaning services, Clean Edge is the best service that I have worked with -- and will happily continue to work with them.

I use Clean Edge regularly and have for almost a year now. They have been everything you would look for in a good housecleaning service: punctual, consistent, efficient, hardworking and trustworthy.

They arrived a little early and went to work immediately.The five hours went by very quickly. I thought the prices were very reasonable. One cleaner will now come every three weeks for cleaning and touch-up. I couldn.t be happier about the whole experience.

These are the most hardworking people. They have cleaned our apartment building every two weeks and it always looks great after they lease. He calls me each time to remind me that they are coming. When I call him he always answers his phone and if I have had to lease a message he returns calls promptly. This is a great service provider.

I've had the Clean Edge come to my house every couple weeks for the past couple years. I've been so happy with the thorough cleaning they do! It's such a treat to come home after they finish cleaning the house, the attention to detail is just amazing and the whole place looks so much better. They vacuum the sectional couch, the floors are sparkling, if the kids forgot to make the beds they even do that. Everything looks just fantastic! They are also flexible and have been willing to shift things for me if my schedule was tough that week. I highly recommend the Clean Edge!

Very well, we have been using this company for 6 years now and intend to continue; from our previous home to the new, bigger one. They have very skilled and professional crew, they are always on time (we have them scheduled every two weeks) and they do good thorough job. Clean Edge Company has been performing weekly cleaning services in my fairly large house for nearly two and a half years. Highly recommend using them if you are looking for the "Mom and Pop" treatment. Sam (the owner) and his wife Sofia are incredibly approachable and clearly go out of their way to take care of me as a customer. Either one of the owners is always present while the cleaning crew is working. I understand they personally turn off all lights and lock windows and doors on the way out. In the ten years of using housecleaning companies these guys are by far the BEST!!!
