AWEFENCE

Posts started heaving after 1st year. They did come back and reset 2 of the posts, but the following year more posts heaved breaking some of the rails. Company has gone out of business. I learned my lesson - NEVER use the cheapest.

It was never completed and the posts for the gates are completely shattered. They had a lifetime warranty which is no good when the company goes out of business. We were completely ripped of by this guy and would never do business with him again. He quit answering his phone or returning my calls even before he went out of business.

Unable to do estimate because they are out of business.

Initially, the fencing was to be accomplished by the end of June. Due to other work Mr. Stephen Jankowski had scheduled and the hill in our yard, he elected to do another job with a similar hill prior to doing ours. The workers were very professional and the fencing is beautiful. In the past two weeks, Mr. Jankowski has communicated with us and updated us as to the dates and times he would accomplish the work. Because of the delay, he upgraded our latches on the two gates, which work perfectly. The workers cleaned up construction debris meticulously and the job is complete.

When I called the number for the company who installed my fence (American Vinyl), I discovered they had been purchased by AWE Fence. I needed a gate repaired and offered to pay for the work since I was not sure warranty carried over. After several months of calling them and getting the run around they never did show up. 4/17/2006 Talked to Steve said someone would be out within a week. 5/23/2006 They said my name is on the board should be within another week. 6/20/2006 Talked to Dale, they will stop by Thursday 6/22, never did.

Terrible. Always an excuse. Promises to finish job ASAP. No fence and no refund after a year.

STEPHEN AND HIS CREW ARE THE NICEST GENTLEMEN TO WORK WITH. THEY HAVE TREATED ME WITH GREAT RESPECT AND HAVE BEEN VERY ACCOMMODATING. THE FIRST DAY THEY CAME TO INSTALL MY FENCE, WE DECIDED THAT WE NEEDED TO GO JUST AROUND THE POOL AREA INSTEAD OF THE WHOLE YARD. THEN AS THEY WERE WORKING, I CHANGED MY MIND AGAIN, AND WE NOW ARE CHANGING THE STYLE OF FENCE ALONG THE BACK. THEY ARE TAKING DOWN AND MOVING A PORTION OF THE BACK THAT WAS COMPLETE, WITHOUT ANY COMPLAINTS OR HESITATION. I HAVE NEVER WORKED WITH ANYONE THAT IS THIS SERVICE ORIENTED. THEY ALSO CARE ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK AND WILL DO EVERYTHING TO MAKE IT LOOK THE BEST THEY POSSIBLY CAN. THEY ARE AWESOME.
