Greg from American Landscape Co stopped by for a quote in regards to a medium sized retaining wall project (~$10k in cost). I was looking to replace and expand an existing retaining wall area next to my driveway to park a travel trailer. Greg understood right away what I was looking to do and gave me a bunch of really good suggestions, including some things I could do on my own. Ultimately, I ended up using his suggestion on some work I can handle myself. However, I'll be reaching out to Greg and American Landscape Co to upgrade the retaining wall in the not-to-distant future.

Description of Work: Removed old shrubs and replaced with new ones I purchased. Went pretty well although i think more of the roots from the old shrub should have been removed. Also more prep to loosen new plant roots before actually planting.

Description of Work: Installed a system to remove excess water runoff from roof. Regraded ground slope away from house. Came on time, with willing workers. Greg delivered as he said he would !!!

It went ok, but when issues arose like 8 out of 12 bushes dying and some minor erosion we called and emailed and are unable to get a response or reply. the work was supposed to be guaranteed and now we are stuck paying someone else to repair. Problem has been resolved

The final price was what they quoted but I didn’t get other quotes so I don’t know how it compares. They did very good work and they were very responsive.
Description of Work: We were in the process of selling our house so we had American Landscape Company do some work for us. They graded some stuff, they did some sod work, and they got rid of a tree stump.

Received an estimate on 6/19/09. Agreed to price and work to be performed. Workers arrived promptly at 7am on 6/20/09. Work was completed around 2pm on 6/20/09.
Description of Work: Tear up exisitng grass and dirt. Graded and sodded large area of front yard.

Everything went very well. Greg provided an estimate promptly and his was the best of four received. He was able to accommodate our brequest to finish the job quickly and the work was done promptly and professionally by his excellent crew.
Description of Work: Pull out of a failing retaining wall and installation of a new one (45 - 50 ft). Removed weed-infested lawn and replaced with woodchip mulch.

THEY TORE OFF MY SOD WHILE I WAS SLEEPING, WITHOUT AN AGREED UPON CONTRACT, AFTER NOT HAVING SPOKEN WITH ME FOR OVER 3 MONTHS SINCE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. THEY WERE TO TEAR OUT FERNS AND TREAT OLD PERENNIAL BED WITH PLANT KILLER SO THEY DIDN'T COME UP THROUGH THE SOD. WITHIN 4 WEEKS, I HAD MANY FERNS AND LILLIES COMING THROUGH THE SOD. I WROTE A COMPLAINT TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WITH NO RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY. I CALLED BUSINESS OWNER DIRECTLY AND HE TOLD ME NEVER TO CALL AGAIN AND HUNG UP ON ME.
