+ 0 moreImmediately backed up again on first use. Sean's solution was to come snake the pipe again each time it freezes until insulation was added. For lack of intelligent advice, we are turning to another company.
Description of Work: Had plumber, Sean Harris, come twice to snake a frozen line. House is 20 years old and has had a frozen line once previously in the last three years. We believe pipe freeze due to cantilevered area in our kitchen. We asked for additional advice, offering that there needed to be additional insulation added. Sean suggested turning up the temp in our tuck-under garage to 65 degrees (even though the area in question did not sit over the garage). Perhaps his theory was that by heating the garage to such a temp it would raise the temp of the surrounding community to above freezing? I thought his idea was pretty dim and immediately lost faith in the quality of his work.

+ 0 moreTime frame expected 10-1. Arrived at 10:30, very professional, job took several hours. Removed and disposed of old unit. Covered carpet walk areas with tarp and thoroughly cleaned up. We called them yesterday because the softener would not stop cycling and water was pouring in the sink. The unit was about 18 years old. They came out today and replaced the unit.

+ -1 moreDave knew that our home was 50 years old with old pipes and plumbing. He is a man who knows how to work on old houses. He took his time as the job was bid by the job, not hourly, and for that reason he could have rushed, but did every installation perfectly. He also found a new single bowl kitchen sink for us, which we were going to special order and wait a month for. It is top of the line. Everything was checked and working perfectly before he left. A true professional.
Description of Work: Installed new kitchen sink and faucet, new laundry tub and faucet, two new toilets, and two bathroom faucets. Fixed two leaks- in a bathroom sink and a shutoff valve on one of the toilets.

HE DIDN'T CALL, SO I HAD TO TRACK HIM DOWN AND WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT DAY FOR INSTALLATION. HE WAS HONEST AND EVENTUALLY FIXED THE PROBLEM, BUT I FELT IT WAS SIMPLER THAN HE MADE IT.
Description of Work: REPAIR OF MASTER BATH TUB FAUCET. COLD WATER WAS DRIZZLING OUT. ALSO PUT IN 2 SHUT OFF VALVES FOR TUB.
