The work itself went great - they were fast, efficient, friendly. The area was clean when they were done. The problem was scheduling. I called and got a date. Closer to the date I called to dial in the time they would be here. We were told 9 am. I had been invited to lunch with my friends, and told them we'd be fine since the appointment was early. We were up early and got the area cleared out and ready. By 10:15, when nobody showed up or called, I called them. I got a harried "I've got a bunch of paperwork to do..." I asked when they'd be here since we were sitting around waiting - he said before noon. Then said 11:30. 11:30 came and went. Finally at noon I called with the intent of cancelling all together and finding someone else. He said then they were 5 miles away. Almost another half hour passed and they finally pulled in. The work they did was good - they were nice, clean, friendly - and that part was a good experience, but I had to cancel my plans because my time did not seem important to them. I am always understanding of issues that can come up from emergency situations to flat tires or traffic - as long as I'm kept updated on what is going on. But 3.5 hours late with no real explanation or notification is just not good business. If my small job is not as important, or not something they want to do, then tell me that and I'll find someone else. For the cost, I feel like I should have been given some compensation for our time. There were lots of things we could have done in that 3.5 hours that we didn't do because we were tied to the house waiting. But again, I will say that once they were here I was happy with the work and the guys were very nice. So if you don't mind being loose with your scheduling, it's great. If you're like me and have lots of things going on, it might not work for you.
