It didn't.
Description of Work: I needed duct work but they suggested a lot more. They listed 3 options: low, medium and a high cost solution. I asked what the difference in price was between the high cost and the medium cost given the AC unit was upgraded and that was it. They marked up their pricing for the higher cost AC - which was appropriate - but then raised the costs for the other work even thou it was the exactly same. I requested they send me in writing but never heard back from them. Go over their line items so they do not up charge you for nothing.

Description of Work: Cleaned ductwork, and dryer vent. We believe it was fairly good work. He was a little late in getting here, and had a lot of equipment to move from area to area. He enlisted our help to move the equipment to the lower level which seemed rather odd. He was also not very careful with the equipment - banging into walls, etc.

JAY, THE SALESPERSON, PROVIDED A FREE WRITTEN ESTIMATE AND COMPARED AN 80% WITH SINGLE STAGE BLOWER, VARIABLE STAGE BLOWER, AND A 90% WHICH HAS THE VARIABLE STAGE MOTOR. HE SPENT TIME EXPLAINING THE OPTIONS AND ALSO GAVE ME RECOMMENDATIONS AS TO HOW TO COOL MY HOME, WHICH MADE MY HOME TOLERABLE UNTIL MY UNIT WAS REPLACED. HOWEVER, I NOTICED THE TOP TILE ON MY TERRA COTTA CHIMNEY LINER HAS AN APPROXIMATELY 3" HOLE WHERE LINER WAS BROKEN ON THE WEST SIDE OF MY HOME AND ANOTHER MISSING PIECE ON THE SOUTH SIDE. I AM SURPRISED THAT NO ONE NOTIFIED ME OF THIS DAMAGE MISTAKE AND OFFERED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. THE OTHER MINOR PROBLEM IS THE EXTERIOR VENT THEY INSTALLED ON THE HOUSE HAS ONE END A LITTLE HIGHER THAN THE OTHER (I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED IT TO BE STRAIGHT). OVERALL I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE JOB. THE DID A GREAT JOB CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES ESPECIALLY THE BASEMENT. THEY WERE WILLING TO DO THE JOB WITHIN 48 HOURS, BUT FOR FUTURE WORK I MAY GET MORE ESTIMATES.

THEY WORKED REALLY HARD TO GET EVERYTHING UP AND RUNNING IN TIME (I HAD A PARTY THAT DAY). THEY DID NOT GIVE US THE RUN-AROUND, WOULD NOT EVEN TALK ILL OF THE COMPANY THAT CAME BEFORE THEM AND DID NOT FIX THING CORRECTLY.

REPLACED BURNT-OUT INDUCER MOTOR IN FURNACE. SERVICEMAN POLITE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND CHARGED CONSERVATIVELY ON TIME.
