Spring Touch Lawn & Pest Control

Had some issues with auto renewal letters going to the wrong address, after working with the company manager, they cleared things up for me and earned my business.

Spring touch installed my system over 10 years ago, have use them for winterization and spring start up, always with some sort of problem. Communication is horrible I had just asked for a text or phone call prior to arriving on site, never happens. System had a lightning strike three weeks ago five phone calls later with no return calls as I had promised I have terminated my relationship with Spring Touch lawn. There’s lots of other companies with better customer service in the area. Also their billing practices are borderline fraudulent, they send you mailers promoting their other services that look like invoices. I’m sure a lot of people just pay them due to the nature of their appearance.

Although I have made repeated requests in person to the applicators and 3 calls to the office, Spring Touch Lawn and Pest Control does not notify me before they arrive so I can open the back gate and remove my pets. The only reason I have even received any services is because I work from home on occasion and happened to be here the days they have arrived (with the exception of one.) My last phone call to the manager, I was assured that I would receive a personal phone call notifying me of my scheduled service. I'm sorry to say that they arrived today without notification again. I wish to cancel the balance of my contract and want assurance that my contract will not auto renew next year so I can go back to Tru-Green where I did not have this issue. Thanks.

Weeding was all right. Still had box elder bugs second year. Very pesty, and should have been eliminated.

I have used Spring Touch for two years for handling irrigation maintenance, year 1 went OK, this year for winterizing our sprinklers was completely unprofessional and zero communication. The date they came to winterize my system I left my side door open for them to be able to access everything they needed to and I called to let them know I would do that. When I came home they only did the things they could outside and nothing else. They left a note with the steps needed to finish the winterization. I called back to ask them to come back out and finish, I was told I would receive a call from irrigation, 4 days went by with no call, I called again and was told I was on the list to call. 4 more days with no call, I called back and they put someone from irrigation on the line and he tried to talk me through the process of finishing the winterization. I told him I wanted someone to come out to do it, he said scheduling would call me. 4 more days with no call, I called and they asked if I was available between 3-5, I took off work to be home and no one showed up. I called back the next business day and was told that there were equipment problems and that's why they didn't come. No one ever called me to tell me any of this, they just didn't come and put me down for the next day between 3-5. Spring Touch has terrible internal and external communication and NOT ONCE has anyone apologized to me with any of my many conversations I have had with them. If you have any other options to take care of your lawn go with someone else, Spring Touch is terrible and I will never even consider using them again no matter the price difference.

Absolute worst experience. First they applied the weed preventer spray about 4 weeks too late. When they finally did come we watched from our house and the "lawn tech" didn't spray half the lawn. Needless to say we still had weeds everywhere a week or 2 later. We called the offered to come and re-spray for free which was great. This is the part where you should not hire Spring touch. The are not a lawn "care" service. The only care about handing out as many invoices as they can. 4 days after the 2nd spray they came again to spray for the 3rd application. If they really cared for lawns they would not have came so soon. I ran out and told the guy to stop spraying but he had already sprayed my entire back yard. I called and explained the entire situation to them. The lady of the phone didn't seem to care and told me a manager would call me back. The manager called me back 2 days later at 5pm. he was very condescending and rude. Not much help. Anyways... 4 days pass and I come home from work and my lawn had been Sprayed AGAIN!. I have a small dog a 2 year old and a pregnant wife and so far have had to have spent the entire summer with chemical sprayed on my lawn because of Spring Touch's Incompetence. Again I called, same run around. Said they would send someone to look. Anyway... 2 weeks later, yard full of dead grass and they aren't taking any responsibility for it. Avoid Spring Touch at all costs. Your grass will literally do better without their service. They pride themselves as a small local business. Couldn't be more false. All they care about is sending out invoices. Lastly the last manager a talked with was the biggest jerk.

Service was fine. Small cost. No dandelions. Not sure of other benefits.

After the first application we noticed a dramatic difference in the number of mosquitoes. It's not perfect - especially near dusk. But it is significantly better than an organic garlic spray, which did not work. The company is clear that the effectiveness will weaken over time and depending on rain. Still, they suggest that the product will be effective for 25 days or so. I appreciate that they don't promise the world and are realistic about results. They put up a sign so that if we aren't home we know when the yard was sprayed. We avoid going out too much in the yard or letting the dog roam free for the first few hours or until the yard is dry (20 minutes was suggested). Their pricing structure is a little odd. I'm always leery of introductory offers. Basically, the first month is free when you sign up for the additional months, but . . . you MUST sign up for the additional months. So if you sign up for 6 applications, the first one is free, but you don't have the option of trying the first month and then signing up or not. So really there is a set price for the summer and you can pay on installments.

We just moved into a new house in may and the lawn had not been previously treated. We signed up for their 5 applications and saw a great difference in our lawn. If I had a question or needed some advice I called the office and their staff was very friendly and helpful. :-) Will definitely use them again this year!

I have been very satisfied with them. Last year, they came out on time. I had not even asked them to plug the lawn. I had an underground fence for my dog. I was afraid that they would cut through the fence. So, when I went out and spoke with them, they did not think it would be a problem. They ended up splicing certain areas of the fence. As I had not ordered for the treatment, I got it for free. They came out and repaired the fence, too. It was an excellent service.
