+ 1 moreIt was a wonderful experience. Randall is just the best. We wanted to remodel our farm house to be true to it's 1920's traditions but with modern updates. Randall gave us a fair price, worked through all the complicated issues, and kept us informed every step of the way. Randall coordinated with all the subcontractors who did the electrical and plumbing work. We are extremely satisfied with Randall's work and we have extended our project to create a hobby space and wood shop area in our oversized garage.
Description of Work: Randall remodeled our 1920's farm house kitchen, two bathrooms, added a deck, refinished the floors and redid the moulding.

He took care of the permits and dealt with some minor roadblocks. The stairs look great and blend nicely with my existing deck. He even built a gate for the top of the stairs.
Description of Work: Randall built a staircase from my second floor deck to the ground.

I had a few questions before fully committing and he responded promptly and thoroughly. I had the work performed about a week later. Afterward, I was thrilled with the quality of work. I would not hesitate to recommend Randal to anyone, and will probably use him again!

+ 4 more.I called Randal to get a quote for the remodel of my bathroom. He was very responsive (same day) and emailed me a quote. He came over and looked everything over that would need to be done. He covered my carpeting so as not to track any dirt inside when he brought his tools, etc. to do the work. He was personable and very professional. It took just a few days to do the work. He returned a few weeks later to add some caulking to the floor where the new carpet threshold had been put in. This was not due to anything he missed, I just wanted a better fit because the carpet threshold had to be small to begin with and wanted a more finished look. We had one small misunderstanding where scheduling was concerned but he gave me a discount and made it right. I felt that was very generous on his part and appreciated his effort. I am very happy with the work he did and would recommend him to anyone needing a bathroom remodel!
Description of Work: Removed the sink, toilet and vanity. Install 1/4 inch cement board, 12 feet of ceramic tile, grout the tile and baseboards. Install a new vanity, counter top, sink drain and water supplies and new fixtures. Reinstall the toilet and water supply and caulk the floor joint between the tile and the bathtub. Install new carpet threshold. Change out the new vanity light, install a new mirror and install towel bars.

Description of Work: There were a series of projects beginning in the early spring of 2008 beginning with the design of a full basement addition. The next in the summer of 2009; a addition of a four season porch that included general remodeling, footings, cement work, framing, insulation, window instillation, interior & exterior door installation. Roofing, sheathing, drywall, cement board siding, steel siding & soffit & fascia painting. Tile floor, custom woodwork, custom built in cabinets, & custon wood ceilings.Staining & varnishing, deck reconstruction & new staircase. In 2010- wall repair, popcorn ceiling texture removal. Walls & ceiling painting, new treads on basement stairs. Design & installation of dog washing station. Design of new kitchen & installation of new kitchen windows. Randal was & is especially patient & helpful when I was overwelmed by the choices for flooring, tile, type of wood to choose, placement of built in cabinets, windows. He has given me good idea's for every project- most recetly; the new range for my kitchen remodel, countertops, cabinets, & new floor. He is excellent with color- choosing stain for wood & paint. He even volunteered to meet me @ stores, helping with choices. We discussed each project extensively, and they have all evolved into a wonderful end result. In 2011/2012 he remodeled my sister's family cabin with outstanding results. I cannot say enough about the excellence & beauty of his work. He creates the space you dream of living in.

+ 5 moreDid extraordinary work with cypress on the ceiling of the screen house. Very cordial. Very easy to work with. Self starter. Very diligent. Excellent employees. The completed project has had a lot of positive feedback from friends and family.
Description of Work: Installed concrete footers and high quality, weight bearing support beams to install elevated screened porch. They had to drill through already concrete for the support beams. Electrical and heat. Insulated as well. Also, a walkway of all season decking. 34 feet of decking, 5ft wide with railings and landing. It was built above an already existing patio. The exterior appreance matched the exisiting house as well as stains and paints.

+ 5 moreRandal doesn't deserve an A. He deserves an A+. He provided me with the services I needed and then some. He was knowledgeable and took great care in doing the job right. He cleaned up after himself and provided me with additional assistance on a painting job I was doing independently without me asking for his help which I very much appreciated. He followed through on everything he said he would do. I can't think of a bad thing to say and would definitely hire him again.
Description of Work: Installation of a bathroom vanity and a pedestal sink. Helped with prep work for interior painting.

+ -1 moreRandall was very professional as was his crew. Randall was open to any suggestions and we agreed to expand the original plan to include some landscaping. While open to suggestions, he would point out anything that would he felt would result in les than perfect results. We were very pleased with the results and the building and landscaping adds value to our home as well as valuable, secure storage space. We plan to have Randall come back nextt spring to discuss a family room addition. He and his crew were a real pleasure to work with. In the past, Randall repainted our deck and rebuilt our from porch and painted that. Again, excellent work. Someone you can trust to do the job correctly and for a fair price.
Description of Work: Requested Randall provide a bid for a storage building approx. 12' x 12' on concrete slab. Building had to be a good quality construction and blend in with our home. Randall researched plans and presented a plan in which we made minor modifications and agreed on the price and timeline.

He gave me great advice on replacing the doors, windows, where to place the closets in the room, etc. He is very creative, and helped me make decisions on how I wanted the remodel to take form. The project is nearing completion, and I couldn't be happier with the out come so far. I plan on hiring Randal to remodel my kitchen in the future.
