I got Eds name from another flooring company, Maple Leaf Flooring (Chad) in Minneapolis. He does not do floor refinishing so he referred me to Ed. I contacted Ed and he made an appointment and he gave me an estimate. We set a date and he showed up in the later morning. We had to be out of the house and had removed all furniture. He worked for 3 days sanding, staining and finishing the floors. We had to stay in a hotel for 5 days and could not put furniture on the floors for another 4 days. He came back 2 additional days to install all the molding and one door. He worked all day and cleaned up very well. He was very pleasant to be around and worked very hard. There was of course an extra charge for the molding work, but I was informed of this before the project started. His craftsmanship is beautiful and he made sure everything fit perfectly. This was challenging as some of the previous construction done on the house involved angles which were difficult to mider. He had to make up for a lot of imperfection in the house and the door was not perfectly squared which made for a difficult installation. I am sure not all floor sanding companies do of this type of work.
