+ -1 moreGenerally, the workmanship was good. There was some misunderstanding. The sidewalk came up from the stoop. I was a little surprised because I thought he had caulked that in. He came back and fixed that. There was a little chip out of the piece he put in, but I'm not sure if that was a workmanship issue. He came back to fix it, so I'm okay with the service. The price was reasonable. They were friendly and professional.
Description of Work: They jacked up the sidewalk and replaced one of our sidewalk pavers.

+ -1 moreRoque was a really nice guy and came in at the lowest price by about $75. I researched him on Angie's list and they show a different owner and that it went out of business years ago. I couldn't find info in the BBB either. He wanted 50% down which I've heard is a red flag. I chose another company because they scored so well with Angie's. He called 2 weeks later to ask if I had made a decision. He was open to the info I gave him and explained that he started the business in the last couple years with the Minnesota Mudjacking name. My gut feel is that he's a great contractor who bids low to build his business. I wanted to give him the job but couldn't make the leap of faith.
Description of Work: Came out to give us an estimate for mudjacking.

+ -1 moreI HAD TO CALL THEM SEVERAL TIMES DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A BID, THEN HAD TO CALL THEM IN ORDER TO GET THEM TO COME OUT TO DO THE WORK. I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY CONSUMERS WOULD DO THIS IN ORDER TO SPEND THEIR MONEY.
Description of Work: MUDJACKING IS THE PROCESS OF RAISING SUNKEN/UNEVEN CEMENT STEPS/WALKWAY WITHOUT REPLACING IT. THEY INJECT HOLES AND FILL IT WITH A LIMESTONE MIXTURE. I AM SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK AND PRICE AS IT WAS CHEAPER THAN THE OTHER BID I RECEIVED, BUT I THINK THEY NEED TO WORK ON THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE FIRST TIME I CALLED AND WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR SEVERAL MINUTES. THE SECOND TIME I CALLED THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND SOMEBODY OUT TO DO A BID. A WEEK WENT BY WITHOUT RECEIVING A BID. THE LAST TIME I CALLED THEY FINALLY MAILED ME A FAVORABLE BID. DESPITE MY CONCERNS ABOUT THEIR (CS),I MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE THE WORK DONE. I ARRIVED ON TIME AND CALLED ONCE 15 MINUTES HAD ELAPSED. MATT SAID HE THOUGHT THE APPOINTMENT WAS FOR TOMORROW OR THE SAME DAY NEXT WEEK. THE WORK GOT DONE THE FOLLOWING DAY BUT NOT WITHOUT REPEATED PROMPTING FROM ME.
