I contracted Dupont Decks to complete a complete demolition and rebuild of a new 14x20 deck with Timbertech Legacy decking with Westbury deck railing complete with a drink rail also of the Timbertech material. Also, a 4' width stairs were built to accommodate a 9' height. Dupont used diamond footings and built a new frame as well. The finished product is a very nice-looking contemporary deck. Very solidly built. The installers completed top-notch work. The sales and site-planning staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating to our project timeline. The folks at Dupont Construction created a timeline and met it despite material delays beyond their control. The result was a beautiful 12x25 foot floating deck that may last longer than the house that it’s next to! What really impressed us was the attitude of the foreman who noticed some dirt fell back into the post holes after a hard rain and he had his crew did them out again. His comment was “If it’s not good enough for my deck, it’s not good enough for your deck”. Once he said that, I knew we were in good hands.
