They started on Wednesday or Thursday but I wasn't availble to watch. Friday they showed up at 8AM worked until 12:00 Noon then left for what I assumed was lunch break. At that time a big section of the roof deck was completely exposed. By 2:00 they still weren't back and with the forecast calling for rain I was concerned and called the salesman. After my call and his 2+ hour break he came back to supposedly seal up everything up for the night. Clearly he failed to secure the roof. After the roof leaked he came back the next day and said he would have put tarps down but he didn't have any. Eariler that morning the salesman told me the tarps were missing from the shop and the roofer must have them. Also I saw a tarp Friday morning laying in the flower bed next to the house but the roofer must have taken it with him on Friday. Then after all was done and the job was inspected by the owner who is "very fussy" who missed the drip edge was cut incorrectly exposing a large hole into the home. It should have been disclosed that the roofing crew is unsupervised and consists of one man and occasionally his young son. Even before the leak we had a communication breakdown and some of the parts weren't ordered. In fact when I asked the roofer about the plumbing vents he gave me the impression they weren't even being replaced. He then corrected that and said he would make sure the correct parts get sent along next time he comes. I signed a contract at a premium price and was promised professional service with a professional crew doing the work. That was not even close to the experience I received. The communication after the sale was horrible. The "crew" was less than honest with me on more than one occasion and cut corners resulting in interior water damage to my home. The office never answers the phone and sends customers to an answering service. Definitely would not recommend. *** Update *** I was given my final invoice this weekend requesting the full balance and the company asked me to sign a letter stating I would release them of all damages they caused to my home. I refused to sign it. After everything they did they still felt they deserved the full professional contract price. I was also promised an independent report from the roof manufacturer that I was told personally inspected the job. That report was never supplied, who knows if the roof was even inspected. I would have been better off hiring a handy man out of the local paper.
Description of Work: I hired US Siding Roofing, & Window to install a new roof on my home. They have a great sales pitch but unfortunately they over promised and under delivered. This was a disapointing experience to say the least.
