Removed 22 trees and trimmed 2 more.Their flexibility allowed me to provide some labor to keep costs down.They completed the task in less than 1 day. When I realized I needed more help they fit me in the next day( responding to my cry for help) Their responsiveness allowed. me to retain a "happy home". I was impressed with the service on all levels cost,punctuality ,attitude,work ethic,concern for our property,skill,and professionallism.

The entire process went well. I call Northern Tree Service for a bid and Todd immediately told me when he would be at my home to give me a bid. He arrived to give me the bid when he said he would be there. Todd also gave me some advice on other trees while he was there. After reviewing my bid I decided to go with Northern Tree Service. On the scheduled day, Todd and his crew arrived within minutes of the scheduled time. They immediately went to work and within 3.5 hours had all the trees down, the brush chipped and the larger wood I wanted to keep stacked. There were some unexpected complications with the large tree so Todd had to adjust the price by a small amount. I understood the reason for the change and agreed to the bid adjustment. All the dead trees had other trees very close to them. I was concerned the other trees would be damaged in the process. Todd was able to take down the dead trees with very little damage to the nearby trees. I was pleased that he was able to safely remove the dead trees without harming the healthy trees.

We have a large lot (100 by 450) so there were many overgrown, some even rotten trees that needed to be cut down, many needed trimming also, and then the cleanup that followed. Todd Gould is incredible as he climbs up into the tallest of trees and cuts limbs, etc. and downs sections at a time, careful not to hit anything such as other trees, fences, flowers, etc. The group is totally focused at to what we the owners wanted, so we are absolutely most pleased with their work and focused work ethic. They are most pleasant and reliable, so we have only the highest regards for them. Being a teacher, not only did they meet my standards, but definitely exceeded them. They all knew what they were doing and it was accomplished in a most efficient and timely manner. Mary and Blair would even get down on their knees as they would do their thorough cleanup! It was a joy to watch them and deal with them. As do-it-yourself people, it was not only delightful to watch the group do this difficult and dangerous work, but one could only feel how fortunate we were to have them to do this task, something we had wanted to do for years. We are so fortunate to have hired this group of three! After two days of being with them, we were sad to see them go as they are such pleasant people! However, we look forward to having them return to grind the many stumps in a month, giving us time to split the logs which are all over the property. As a teacher, I rate them as superior throughout, having no complaints, only praise!

I went to check on my cabin and found a huge tree had fallen on top of the roof. I had no idea who to call so I looked up tree services and found Todd at Northern Tree and he was out to the cabin to inspect within 2 hours - which made me very happy. He removed the tree the following morning. I was very grateful for his prompt and professional response. I would definitely use them again!

Todd and his crew did a great job. I had concerns about smaller trees being damaged because the trees I was having removed were leaning over the smaller trees. There was no damage at all! All the limbs were chipped and hauled away. The area was raked and left very clean. I wanted to keep the wood; all the logs were stacked at the edge of the area in nice, neat piles.

I wasn't home while the service was provided.

We were so worried about the felling process that we wanted to be there when it was done but due to work schedules it wasn't possible. Todd and his crew not only did a fantastic job dropping the three trees without any damage to property but also took the time to take down and protect our bird feeders and lawn art. He even sent us picture of the whole process and end result. We could not be happier with the results. These guys really know what they're doing and have the skill and experience to do a safe and expert job on a very difficult situation. We highly trust and recommend them!

We wanted to clear trees to the lake on the back lot. Todd was very easy to work with and came out three times to discuss what trees needed to be taken out and which ones needed to be trimmed up. The lot looks great and we now have a view of the back lake. I didn't realize how bad the trees by the road looked until Todd trimmed them up. This was a project we've wanted to do for quite a while but kept putting it off. With the way it turned out, we wish we would have done it sooner. Excellent to work with and does an excellent job.

Todd was very busy this summer with all of the wind damaged trees in the area. He kept in touch with me until he was able to get to my place to do the work. He took down the tall pines first, one of which was dead and close to my property line, next to my neighbor's house. Then he worked on the large oak. This tree was leaning over the power lines and had been trimmed by the city which left it even more lopsided. Between the time that Todd came to give me an estimate and the time he came to do the work we had had another severe storm during which the entire top of the oak came down and having missed the power lines on both my neighbor's property and mine had wedged into another tree and was laying across the fence onto my neighbor's yard. The tree was threatening my neighbor's garage if it fell. Turned out the whole tree was hollow inside and had been for many years while still living. It was very dangerous working on it. Todd took out the entire tree and the big piece of it that fell on my neighbor's yard. The he trimmed up the tops of my birch tree. Another birch that I wanted him to trim had been split in the storm that took the top off the oak, so he trimmed up the whole tree and took out the damaged parts. When they were done there was no evidence that they had even been here everything was cleaned up! My neighbor was surprised also when she looked out and there were two guys and in a little while the top of the tree laying in her yard was gone and everything was cleaned up like it had never been there. Todd is very good to work with. He takes the time to talk about what he found and what he has to do to take care of it without pushing to do more than needs to be done. He is very knowledgeable about trees makes suggestions but does not try to push you into doing more work than needs to be done.

Everything went well. The tree was cut down and everything hauled away with no damage to my house.

We are very pleased with this company's quality of work, integrity, and conscientiousness for completing the work in the best way possible. They go above and beyond to leave the area as good or better than it was found. This is the second time we have had Todd and his company help us with difficult and dangerous trees and we would highly recommend them again!

Great, good work, fast, experienced and pleasant to be around.

The tree specialist came to the home in prompt manner. Professionalism was adequate but not exceptional.

When I called, Todd was on another job not far away. He came over in about 2 hours and cut down the one tree that needed to be removed soon. We arrived at a price for three more trees. No payment was made at this time, and Todd returned 2 weeks later to finish the job. He was professional, did no damage to the property, cleaned up nicely.. We were very pleased with his work , thought the price was fair, and will call next time we need tree service.

Todd called ahead to let me know when he would arrive. He arrived on time, and did a very professional job, followed by a complete cleanup! He was courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable about his work! I recommend his tree service to all !

This was the best possible experience I could imagine. I would strongly recommend others use his service. I called several services and while others wanted to schedule times in the future... He showed up the same day and did an excellent job.

Todd came, looked at the job, gave me a price and started working with great skill.

Todd did a great job for me. He kept me informed as to when he would arrive, and he arrived on time. He and his assistant were able to clear all the trees, chip up the small branches, and cut up the trunks into 18 to 20 inch lengths. Very pleased with his professionalism and attention to detail. I will use him any time in the future I need more trees removed.

The job went very well. Very business like professionalism.

Tree removal was the first step needed in my bigger yard project and Todd came out right away and finished the job quickly in one morning.
