+ 1 moreWe didn’t end up paying anything for their insurance covered everything. They were originally going to replace half of the roof but they couldn’t match the shingles so the insurance company paid the whole thing. It was really sizable. What stood out the most about them was that they were local and I have seen a number of properties that they had actually worked on. I try to stay local as much as I can.
Description of Work: I’ve used Ryan Roofing. After a storm, they replaced our roof. One of their subs replaced windows and refinished our deck. They did the whole roof. We ended up having a number of windows replaced. Our deck was badly damaged by hail so that was our refinished and a bunch of the wood replaced.

+ -1 moreAfter receiving multiple bids and meeting with various project managers from multiple roofing companies, we decided to go with Ryan Roofing. Our project manager was enthusiastic, reasonable, organized and experienced. We got the impression he was giving us straight and honest information and advice. We stayed in touch through a rainy period, effectively getting a reschedule worked out with minimal effort. The job started exactly on time and the crew and our project manager were on site all day. Hard working, attention to detail and doing things right. It was a fair price for a job well done. We'd recommend Ryan Roofing any day. The roof looks excellent, and the house protected for years to come.
Description of Work: Roof shingle tear down and replacement, including 3 skylights, power vent and chimney and flashing.

+ -1 moreThe job was completed well, and we did not have any recurring problems the rest of the winter.
Description of Work: We had extensive ice build-up on our roof, as did many around us due to an very cold and snowy early winter. Ryan Roofing was not the cheapest around (...I was not looking for the cheapest, as I was concerned about roof damage, reliability, and the stability of the company I was hiring) but I felt the price was fair for the work that was performed. They were responsive, punctual, and seemed to be straight shooters, not promising any more than they could deliver. They were at my home the next day, and began ice-dam removal using steam equipment on a very cold, wet, and steep roof. They would have finished that same day, but their steam machine broke down after 2 hours. The company returned first thing the next day to finish the job, even though they had to drive 150 miles round trip to procure another steam machine because the demand was so great in our area for these machines at the time.
