+ 1 moreGreat. Prompt, professional, polite, friendly and efficient. They were very careful with all of the furniture and moved everything just where I wanted it. They also squeezed some time into their already booked schedule about 4 days later in order to accommodate me and the person repairing my furniture to go and retrieve the piece and return it to me when the repair was finished. Highly recommended!
Description of Work: Moved a lot of furniture within the house and garage, including several large, heavy pieces. Also delivered a large piece of furniture to a workshop for repair, and then picked it up several days later and brought it back.

+ -1 moreWe've used The Picker-Uppers several times to haul rubbish, move furniture to and from the basement, and to move appliances out to the garage prior to painting the kitchen & laundry room. Each time they've been prompt & professional: In every case appropriate care was taken to prevent damage to furniture, walls, and woodwork. We've always been able to get them scheduled within a few days of calling them, and they work quickly enough that twice we've only had to pay their minimum fee. We're sure we'll be using them again, and recommend them without reservation.

They arrived a few minute early, were very polite, professional, and eager to get the job done. They even squeezed in a couple small items at no charge. I will use they're services again.

They were very courteous and moved all her belongings in a quick and efficient manner. I was very impressed with their work ethic, and pleasant attitudes. I was 100% satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend them for any moving job.

+ 0 moreThe next morning the Picker Uppers came right on time as they said they would. They quickly reviewed my waste and told me the exact cost of their service. My waste was efficiently loaded into the truck, about 2 pickup truck loads worth. Two men came prepared for the job and even though I offered to help, they insisted to do everything on their own. I was concerned that small pieces of sheet rock and other things would be left behind in my grass when they were finished, but every little reasonable piece was picked up and my yard looked great after the job was finished. The men were dressed cleanly, the equipment was clean, the yard was clean, and finally my garage was clean also. And it cost much less than I expected it to based on my past experience from when I had my own truck and did similar waste disposal from time to time.
Description of Work: My family had accumulated a significant amount of waste in our garage such as old furniture, remodeling supplies, and etc. I had moved it outside to my back yard to prepare for my friend to come with his truck and take it all to the local waste dump. Unfortunately, my friend didn't show up with the truck and I couldn't get in touch with him to reschedule the pick up. My neighborhood is well maintained and it was very embarrassing to have accumulated so much waste in my back yard on my lawn. Not only was it an eye sore, all my personal waste was exposed for everyone to see. I went online to find a solution to this problem and found the "Picker Uppers" looked right for the job. I called them at 4 PM on Tuesday to schedule a pick up but found they were booked up until the following Monday. After explaining my situation, the Picker Uppers found a way to fit my job in the next morning before their normal hours of work. For now I was relieved but realized things could change in 15 hours.

+ 0 moreI was very impressed with the two man team from Picker Uppers. They arrived on time, took care with separating metal from garbage, and took great care with all the recycling. There was a lot of "stuff" (some kind of nasty) to handle and they handled it all really well. I have already had them back once after the initial big project was done. I enjoyed their professionalism and the fact that they worked fast and hard and kept such a positive, upbeat attitude. Very reasonable price, too. They also do moving and when we move they will definitely be the first company I call.
Description of Work: I see this company is listed as garbage removal, but they did much more for me than that. They removed garbage, cleared out a property, and took all my recycling from a whole neglected property. They made multiple loads.
