Maximum Tree Service and Landscaping

The crew finished a large job in 2 have IRS and did a great job of cleanup.

Sales person contacted me very quickly and the appointment went well. A few weeks later, the crew did work but did not do what I wanted when I sought out their services. They were more concerned about cleaning out the middle of the tree. They didn't want to do more because they were concerned it would look funny. After they left I noticed it was lopsided on the side I wanted cut back. I climbed on a ladder and did as much as I could reach. I feel over charged for services that they did not complete. I completed a survey from their company and described my dissatisfaction and they did not contact me.

Maximum Tree called by our house and by chance, we knew we had to get the trees in order so the timing was fortuitous. We weren't quite ready to get started and felt ever-so-slightly pestered by the repeat callbacks over the following couple of weeks, but at all times the guys canvassing for work were friendly and polite. When we were ready to go, they got started almost immediately. Max clearly explained the work that needed to be done, marking and pointing out the trees that either needed felling or trimming. He listened very closely to our requests and accommodated them - for example, we wanted to save lots of the wood for our wood-burning stove, and he had his crew not only cut it up into manageable pieces, but also stack the wood for us! The crew themselves were friendly and always available to explain what they were doing. It was a bit weird having five blokes walking around our garden for two days, but they were really courteous and a pleasure to be around. I'll be hiring Max's team again and recommending them to whoever will listen. They already picked up two additional jobs with my immediate neighbours!

They were able to come and remove the tree within a week of providing a quote and their quote was within range of what I had received from other service providers. They were not the cheapest but they were not the most expensive either. Max did a great job of providing extra value during his visit. Not only did they remove the tree and grind the stump as quoted, they also raked up all the extra tree chips, trimmed a lot of other dead branches on other trees in my front lawn. Removed an adjacent dead tree, removed 4-5 buckthorn plants from another part of the yard and ground the stumps for that and some previously removed buckthorn between myself and my neighbors house (they had removed previously but neighbor did not ask for stump removal). I would definitely hire them back and feel that the rate I paid justified the work they performed and they were very professional.

This has been a terrible experience.
