Quoted price of $1200. Seemed excessive. Did not use.

It could not have gone better! They even worked with us because we wanted the gutters to match our trim and the downspouts to match our stucco, so they had all the supplies dropped at our house a month ago so we could specially prep and paint them before installation (our choice). Their crew was right on time, called the night before, and could not have been more professional the whole day they worked here. They even slowly looked over entire yard when they were done to be sure no screw or anything was left behind. They took away the old gutters and downspouts. The new installation blends beautifully with the old and works perfectly. It is such a relief to know that I will not hear leaky gutters anymore and that the house truly looks so very nice (no more duct tape on downspout connections in back.)

Came out same day I called to do a gutter estimate which was nice so I didn't have to take any extra time off to be there. Estimate was good and they were able to install the old style half round gutters that I wanted. They Installed them in a day and they work great & look nice.

Our house had no gutters or downspouts. This wasn't necessarily a problem, except for above the garage, front door, and patio. Sheridan came out and measured, then installed gutters and downspouts as planned. While they were placing downspouts, I asked them if they could orient one in a different direction, and they did without fuss. Several weeks later, one of the corners was leaking, and without hesitation, the came out and fixed it. I am picky about gutters, and use steel gutters only, not aluminum. Sheridan does steel gutters.

They did quick, g*** work. Rain gutters and downspouts are working great this year, even with all of the rain. We've had no problems. The only thing they could have done better is pick up after they were done with their work. We've been finding small pieces of metal that were sliced off the downspouts to make them fit all around the outside of the house.

They did great on time work. I would not hesitate to recommend them, and i have done so many times.

I originally requested a bid for the downspouts, gutter screens and a metal screen to be placed over the inside of a garage door. The gentleman that wrote up the bid stopped by soon after my initial call and returned my followup calls promptly. The quote for the screen over the door was much larger than I had expected. I suspect that there may have been a mis-communication over what I really wanted there. I asked that the quote be modified to drop the screen for the door before proceeding. The bid was written up clearly and included a diagram. There was a delay of about six weeks before they had time in there schedule for the job. The two technicians who performed the work showed up at the scheduled time and did a nice job. There were no clean up issues.

I was referred to Sheridan Sheet Metal by another gutter contractor because we have an old house and I wanted to replace the gutters but still have architectural details like on my original gutters. The sales man that came out was very friendly and knowledgeable. He also knew what kind of details I was looking for. I was optimistic it would work out with Sheridan, but I was quite surprised when I received the proposal. I have gotten about 5 bids for the gutters and Sheridan's was double everyone else. I wish I could go with them, but was not anticipating that price. I will use another gutter contractor to do the project next spring when we do additional exterior work. I would use Sheridan for other projects though as they seem very knowledgeable and professional in their trade.

The work was completed promptly, the clean up was good, and the gutters perform well.

We chose them because we wanted steel gutters and believed them to do quality work. We are pleased with the work done. The job took about 1/2 day longer than expected which was fine with me as it seemed to be to ensure downspouts draining where we wanted them to drain. They took their time coming up with elegant solutions for the downspouts. We had some awkward downspout work with retaining walls and compression areas. It is quite something to see a line of dry close to the foundation. The gutters can clearly handle lots of water. Shortly after the work was done, we had some deck work done that allowed us to redirect one of the downspouts. They were good about coming out one more time to help us with the changes and did it for free.

The job they did was very complicated. I have a complex water drainage system and they did a great job. They were on time and did what I wanted them to do even though at first their plan was not to my specifications. I don't remember exactly how much I paid, but that most likely means it wasn't greatly overpriced.

It took Bill Lynch about 2 weeks just to call us back. He did an estimate when we were not home, which was fine, but I had to call to get the estimate mailed to us. The estimate contained mistakes and I had to call again to get them to redo it. It took several more calls to find out when they were going to do the work. They did not call ahead and actually scared my mother-in-law when she came for Thanksgiving and found them working on the house. The gutters themselves seem adequately functional, however, they were a different color from what I had thought Bill and I had agreed on - plain stainless steel instead of white. I had no response to a follow-up call I made to their office asking about the gutter color. I also tried to follow up with some concerns I had about the quality of the window covers onto which the gutters were welded and received no response. I would have switched to another company if I knew of one that did steel gutters.

Perfect. On time, professional, quick and careful.

It was a great product as designed. It took longer than I would have liked, but in the end, the project was completed to my satisfaction.

I called them and they showed up two months later out of the blue.

Took over a month to get an estimate. Was told I would receive an estimate in the mail. Waited two weeks, hadn't rec'd it. Called back, they didn't really give me an answer as to why it wasn't done, but that they would send someone out that week to do an estimate. Rec'd on in the mail a week later. Estimate was $2,000 to replace gutters on small house. That didn't include taking down the old ones. I felt the price was way out of line. I did not hire them and wouldn't recommend them to anyone in the future.

Bill Lynch met me at my home and gave me an estimate. He was very helpful in making sure that I replaced the 3 damaged downspouts with the exact replacement so that they would match the other downspouts. He explained to me that they manufacture their own steel downspouts where other shutter companies purchase them from other vendors. Two employees removed the 3 damaged downspouts and hauled them away. Then they installed three 4 inch square downspouts. They did a very professional job, and I am very impressed with the quality of their work. The 3 downspouts exactly match the other downspouts. I have recently purchased another home, and it needs new gutters. I am planning to call Sheridan Sheet Metal to do the work.

Workmanship was excellent. The flashing was designed in such a way that the siding does not cover all parts of it so the welding points are visible. They performed the work in timely manner to coordinate with window installers. Did not honor Angie's List coupon.

THE COMPANY RETURNED MY PHONE CALL IMMEDIATELY. BILL AND HIS CO-WORKERS DID AN EXCELLENT JOB UNDER THE RAIN. THEY DID EXACTLY WHERE I WANT THE EXTENDER TO BE.

BILL LYNCH WAS THE PERSON I DEALT WITH. HE DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB, WAS DETAILED, RETURNED PHONE CALLS PROMPTLY, AND WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. THE WORK THAT WAS DONE MET OR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. I WOULD RECOMMEND USING SHERIDAN TO ANYONE THAT NEEDS CUSTOM COPPER WORK DONE.

I CALLED TO ARRANGE FOR A GUTTER INSTALLATION ESTIMATE FOR MY HOME, AND WAS TOLD THAT THE APPROPRIATE SALESPERSON WOULD CONTACT ME. 2 BUSINESS DAYS HAVE PASSED, BUT I HAVE YET TO HEAR FROM THEM. ALTHOUGH THEY RECEIVED NUMEROUS GOOD REVIEWS FROM OTHER ANGIE'S LIST MEMBERS, I CAN ONLY SAY THAT MY OWN EXPERIENCE WITH THEM HAS BEEN UNPLEASANT. I HAVE SINCE HIRED A DIFFERENT COMPANY THAT HAS GIVEN ME MUCH MORE COURTEOUS AND PROMPT SERVICE.

THEIR ESTIMATE WAS FOR $1091.00 . I DID NOT GO WITH THEM BECAUSE A COMPETITOR GAVE AN ESTIMATE FOR REPLACING ALL OF THE DOWNSPOUTS, GUTTERS AND GUTTER SCREENS FOR ONLY $210 MORE!!! I FEEL THAT THEY ARE WAY OVER-PRICED!

WAS HELPFUL WITH SUGGESTIONS ON WHO TO CONTACT TO DO THIS KIND OF WORK.

I CALLED IN THE MORNING TO GET A QUOTE. THE SERVICE REP HAD ALREADY BEEN OUT BEFORE I EVEN GOT HOME. THE NEXT DAY A FORMAL QUOTE WAS RECEIVED IN THE MAIL.

THIS COMPANY WAS RECOMMENDED TO US BY ANOTHER ANGIE'S LIST SERVICE PROVIDER THAT DID NOT SERVICE OUR AREA. THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE AND WE RECEIVED OUR ESTIMATE IN GOOD TIME. WE CHOSE TO GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY, AS WE PREFERRED THE COLOR OPTION AND ALSO ONLY REQUIRED A LESS EXPENSIVE ALUMINUM GUTTER (SHERIDAN'S ARE STEEL). THE FACT THAT A FELLOW ANGIE'S LIST SERVICE PROVIDER SUGGESTED THIS COMPANY IMPRESSED US, AND WE WERE PLEASED WITH HOW WE WERE TREATED DURING THE ESTIMATE PROCESS.
