Custom Glass & Screen

Needed a cracked pane of glass replaced. They recommended that I bring it in for measurement for speedier processing. Since it was removable, I was able to do that. They made sure the glass replacement was going to match (low-E) as a mismatch is noticeable from the outside. Measurement took 10 minutes and I took the window back home. Replacement glass was there in about 3 weeks. Brought the window back in the morning and it was done by the afternoon. The price was lower than quotes from other places and the work was done well.

They never responded to my inquiry.

They were on Angie's List. I asked them to cut to the size, so that they didn't have to come out and I just went to pick it up. I was satisfied with the experience. They have good customer service. They pay attention to details. Their price was fair. They didn't send to me, but the stuff was ready on time. The only drawback for me is that it is just farther away than I thought it's going to be. It was 25 minutes drive to their place.

On two separate occasions I called to have someone come out to look at repair/replacement of several windows on my (residential) building. In both instances, a tentative appointment of "Monday or Tuesday next week, someone will contact you with a specific time" was set. In both instances, no call was received and no technician appeared at location.

The job was fine. It was a good price and they delivered as promised and followed through.

This is our second time using Custom Glass. We found them after a bad experience with a mirror install. The problem with the first company (NOT Custom Glass) was that they used a metal channel along the bottom of the mirror - resulting in wicking of cleaning products and mirror delamination (TIP: avoid channels whenever possible). Paul is a very careful and methodical worker. His shower doors cut are and hung with precision - resulting in a beautiful and functional shower. The seam between the door and fixed panel is about 1/8' and perfectly straight. His mirrors fit percisely and are hung with no obvious metal attachments. We have had other quotes and their prices are competitive. For this project, we also ordered smoked glass panes for transom windows and 6 glass shelves for a cabinet. Both of these items were very well done.

A rental unit I owned needed screens desperately. When the manager at Custom Glass and Screen heard that the units AC had also died that morning he put the order at the top of the list and had the job done (and very well at that) in no time at all.

IT WENT FINE. IT WAS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. I LIKE THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE ABLE TO FABRICATE THE SCREENS. I DROPPED THE MATERIALS OFF ONE AFTERNOON AND THEY HAD THE WORK COMPLETED THE NEXT MORNING.

He was flexible with the work. I changed what I wanted in between setting up the visit and when he came out, he adapted it without any problems.
