Description of Work: They replaced my basement sliding glass door. |My old door didn't quite fit the frame so there actually was a space between the door frame and the wall that was visible. |Champion came out and custom built a new door with special sliding technique so it doesn't get stuck...ever! (my old door would get stuck in the winter and I had to blow dry it to melt the ice so it would open). |The new door by Champion is FABULOUS! |

Description of Work: Install 3-season porch on top of existing deck. Overall, it went okay. There were issues along the way. The project manager didn't deal with the issues to my satisfaction until I continuously complained about it and even with that, the problem was mostly fixed but not completely.

Description of Work: Replaced sliding glass door over rot and did not inform me, despite this being explicit in my conversations and contract with them (that I wanted to be informed if there was any wood rot issues). Only discovered when we had kitchen remodeled. They sent someone out to remove door and reinsert, but they were unresponsive to my letter of concern re: how and why this happened. Zero response from them and no reassurances that they would address as a company or that they would not do this to other customers.

Description of Work: Replaced thirteen windows with vinyl replacements. Very good quality windows. Immediately noticed sound reduction. Install crew was on time and very professional and efficient. Aluminum wrapping on all trim and close attention to detail with all caulking and sealing. Very pleased with the product and installation.

Description of Work: Installed 5 windows; applied some type of coating due to slight amount of lead in part of the infrastructure. They were great! Had a small problem |with one of the screens pulling away from its casing, and they came out right away and fixed this, too. Price was kind of steep for 5 windows, but I did receive the demonstration before I bought them, and they did demonstrate that the windows kept out the cold and the heat. I guess you get what you pay for.

 + -1 moreTHE PROJECT STARTED OUT FINE, BUT AFTER THE WALLS AND ROOF WERE INSTALLED THERE WAS A LEAK THAT WAS NEVER RESOLVED. DAN, THE PRIMARY WORKER, CAME OUT TWICE TO SEAL THE LEAKS, BUT IT DID NOT WORK. AFTER IT RAINED WE NOTICED WET SPOTS ON THE FLOOR IN SEVERAL AREAS. WE'VE CALLED HIS SUPERVISOR, STEVE, AT LEAST 5-6 TIMES . IN ADDITION TO THE LEAKS, THERE ARE A FEW MORE FINISHING TOUCHES THAT NEED TO BE DONE BEFORE THE FINAL INSPECTION, INCLUDING A MESS UNDER THE ROOM. WE EVEN SPOKE TO THE PRESIDENT OF CHAMPION, JOHN, WHO CALLED US ONE DAY TO TELL US ABOUT THE FINAL INSPECTION. WE COMPLAINED TO HIM TO NO AVAIL. WE ARE THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED AT THIS POINT AND JUST WANT THE ROOM FINISHED SO WE CAN USE IT. WE OWE $1000 ON THE ROOM, BUT WE'RE NOT PAYING UNTIL THE JOB IS DONE TO OUR SATISFACTION. AT THIS POINT WE ARE FED UP WITH THIS COMPANY AND ITS SHODDY & NONEXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. ROBERT CAME BACK OUT AND TOOK CARE OF ALL OF THE PROBLEMS AND CLEANED UNDER THE ROOM. WE ARE NOW SATISFIED.
