Description of Work: Installed 5 windows; applied some type of coating due to slight amount of lead in part of the infrastructure. They were great! Had a small problem |with one of the screens pulling away from its casing, and they came out right away and fixed this, too. Price was kind of steep for 5 windows, but I did receive the demonstration before I bought them, and they did demonstrate that the windows kept out the cold and the heat. I guess you get what you pay for.

Description of Work: New front door and back door with sliding screen door on back. Took forever to get the doors, but install went great on the front and had some issues with the back but the guys at champion kept coming out to make it right.

Description of Work: Removed old sliding patio door and installed a new one. The new door has blinds inside the two pieces of glass and uses sliding bars instead of cords.

Description of Work: Replaced 2 old large custom windows with new ones. Reasonably well considering how bitterly cold it was. Our advice would be to do this type of project only during the warmer months.

Description of Work: After we came to the price of the project and sign all the paper the Factory Representative then pulls out another form for the glass removal that would cost another $300. dollars. I then threaten cancel the order the FR told me he would cover the cost. When the person who measure the window told me they were one room short had to call the FR to get the OK to add the room. Again the FR said that he would cover the cost. |Then when the time came to put in the windows I was told three days to have it done on the third day was told that they didn't have the bay window or another window and would have to order the bay window and the this took another two weeks to get the bay window. Once they got the bay window and the other window there were no screens for the bay window took another week to get them made and install. |I will say that I also got new siding for my house that was done perfect and the installer went the out of his way to cover things that wasn't really on the work order. |But I would never go back to Champion nor give them a referral.

Description of Work: Have spent over 10,000 replacing windows and doors with Champion because I thought they had a good product and was impressed with the data on their windows. However, in remodeling our kitchen we discovered that the sliding glass door they put in for us was installed over rot, some of which is weight bearing. They had not informed me of this rot and I was unaware that it was there until we remodeled our kitchen. I contacted them and they sent someone (who was late) to remove door and reinstall while my remodelers repaired the rot. I followed up with a letter of concern to the management staff re: their policy informing homeowners about rot. I understand it was not their responsibility to repair the rot, but they went into it knowing I had concerns about air quality (that is even noted on my paperwork that I wanted to be sure there was no rot) due to having a daughter and husband with asthma, yet despite this still did not inform me. It makes me question all of their work now and I have zero confidence that the other windows I had replaced were not also just reinstalled over rot. My larger concern and the reason I will not use them again is their lack of response to my letter re: quality assurance and their seeming blase attitude about not informing home owners when they find rot. I understand this slows the job completion, but I had hoped they were a company who cared about quality and have been disappointed in their lack of response and follow up, which to me demonstrates it is not simply a lack of conscientiousness on the installers part but an overall company attitude re: quality and customer satisfaction.

Description of Work: Replaced all my porch windows and storm door. However they used a non-paintable chaulk around the windows and door and I couldn't paint over the bare wood. Also the quality of the screens are poor, not stretched tight , loose. Very spendy even with 2 coupons.

Description of Work: I ordered a window in Feb which was installed on March 19 and paid for. The installers broke one of the panes of glass while the window was being installed. A replacement window pane was ordered at that time. Though the glass finally arrived sometime in May, the pane will not be replaced until June 4, eleven weeks. From March 19 to June 4 for completion for a job ordered in |February (first half payment) and paid for in March (last half payment). I hope that all goes well on June 4, or I will be contacting the better business bureau.

Description of Work: The Service personnel were not only on time and cleaned up everything, they were courteous and cared. The sales Rep, that came in first explained that we wouldn't want to get rid of them as it can't even be found any more. We appreciated the honesty a great deal. We had 2 teams do the work all in one day, which included a bay window done by one crew, and another on the rest. They manufacture the product, AND install. Not only would I recommend this company, but I will have them replace the front and back doors in the future.

Description of Work: We own a house with a 3-season Champion porch, and we needed a new roof on the porch.
