It is so unfortunate that a professional such as E.K. must pay such ridiculous amounts to dump our stuff. Price was a bit of a shock.

I would recommend contacting the company directly rather than submitting through HomeAdvisor - more direct. Very professional, very organized, good euipment. Eric knows his business and gave a good estimate. As he and his co-worker were loading the trailer he kept asking if there was anything else. As we looked around the garage and yard there were a number of things we needed to dispose of but hadn't thought they were things he would take. He took it all and the estimate was not raised. We highly recommend.

Very professional and quick. I had additional items to remove that were not in the initial estimate that they took for a reasonable price. Overall very happy with the service.

I was pleasantly surprised that the movers were in the area and made the effort to connect with me by phone and then were on-site in a short time, which made it easier for me to get my tasks completed in the same day. I appreciated the professionalism and the power of negotiating the price for the service. I had looked at other pricing for the stuff I needed to haul away and EK Movers were reasonable.

I have always had a good experience with HomeAdvisor, but this was not one of them. First, no one called to set anything up from any of the companies listed. When I called them they said they called me and were on their way. They never set anything up. They said they were on their way so I told them to come. Told them what I had and they quoted me $150. So figured if they are their way they would be here like 45 min. After an hour I called they said we are almost there. They either said 2 min or 10 min, hard to understand him. Another 45 min went by. When they arrived he said I thought you only had A LOVE SEAT NOT A SOFA TOO. I put that in the paperwork I submitted and said it over the phone. They then told me it would be another $75 to $100 more. That's when I said I called another person because I wasn't sure you were going to show. I said they quoted me $185 and I wasn't going to pay anymore I would just wait for the other person on Monday. So then they said okay to the 185. They keep dragging the furniture across the floor without a cloth under it. They scratched my wood floors banged into my doors. The people that I had delivered my new furniture carried it in with no issues at all. They did not need to drag it. They then only had a pickup truck that was already filled with stuff so they had to sit it above the bed of the truck. It looked like they were going to fall off. Very dangerous to be driving with the stuff like that. When I said I was not happy that he scratched my wood floors he only dropped it back to the 150. The service should have been free for damaging my floors. Then the guys complained that his kids go to private school and he has to pay for that. I don't care, he damaged my floors. They had no Idea what they were doing. I would never recommend them and I can't believe you guys did. I would rate them at 0. Also I would like to know why at my Florida home HomeAdviser would actually call to make sure I was contact by someone and how was the service.

Arrived late but then the job was done quickly and the surrounding area was cleaned up. Eric is a very nice man and apologized for being late. Very hard workers.

In the end, it worked it nicely and Eric was very good at doing his job. Information over the phone was different from what was said in person but he was very willing to go out of his way to meet up and get the job done. Price was negotiable and he was very persistent.

Service was great once they arrived! however, they did not arrive on time. Then I rescheduled and they did not arrive at all. Then scheduled again for the next day and they arrived late.

They were really good to talk with. They also completed the job in a timely fashion.

Eric is very kind, professional and courteous. He was so helpful to us, to remove our heavy junk, like an old sectional, an old dresser, a broken lawn mower and some large rugs. He called and let me know when he'd be arriving. He takes care to do things right. I would hire him again, and with all the kids we have, I'm sure we will.

Eric and John were very professional. They came within 15 minutes of my call. I only had 1 item to remove which they did and then I was told how much it would cost. Guess I should have asked that before it was taken out of the house.
