SOS was great to work with! We came home to waste all over our laundry room floor on a Friday evening. First time we've ever had to deal with anything like this and had no idea what was wrong. We called at 1am to schedule for service in the am and we received a prompt call back around 8:45am stating we were second on the list. Marty arrived around noon and went right to work. He worked very quickly and knew exactly what he needed to tackle. Within about a half hour he had unclogged the drain. He didn't make it to the sewer his first try so he made some tweaks and got all the way through the second time. This time pulling out roots which were most likely the cause of the issue. He was very helpful and recommended that we have the lines serviced at least once a year to avoid issues like this again in the future!

very straightforward - Plumber, Aaron, came in and assessed the kitchen drain problem and took care of it. Then assessed the toilet, made some adjustments, and was on his way. I really appreciated the Coupon deal offered for $125 and would definitely call SOS again.

We used to use a nation wide company to clean our roots out of the main line and after awhile they weren't doing a good job getting all the roots and their prices were all over the place ($250-$400) depending on who came. SOS was recommended to us by our city and they are wonderful!!! We have used them 3 times now and have been very happy every time. Their cost is per job and cheaper than what we were paying with a large company. They also cleaned out our tub drain over a year ago and it still drains amazing. All the workers are friendly and do a great job. Their service is prompt as well. I highly recommend them to anyone who is in search of plumbing needs.

From the time I placed the call to the time we made payment, our experience with SOS was top notch. We placed our call at 8 p.m. in the evening to see if they could send someone yet that night. Although they could not, they were very apologetic about it. They told us the soonest they could get to our condo was in the afternoon the next day. They gave me a two hour time slot and promised to call 30 minutes before they would arrive. The following day they came during the time slot they provided the night before, calling 30 minutes before. They fixed the problem in 15 minutes and the plumber was very professional and answered all the questions we had for him. We would definitely use them again and would also refer them to others.

I called them very at 7 am and the job was done by 12:30. Very professional made sure we were taken care of the same day. Courteous, and punctual. Will use again for yearly maintenance.

I was cleaning the house after a long visit by my son and his family. I put a lot of food in the garbage disposal, and promptly clogged it up. Of course, it was Sunday morning, and I was hosting bridge the next night, and had to work on Monday as well. When Marty called me to schedule the visit, he said he would be at the house sometime after Noon, but would call me when he was on his way. He called at 11:15 to say he was heading over. By 12:15, the job was done, and everything was immaculate. Marty was upbeat, professional, tidy, and very quick. He gave me a discount when I said I chose SOS because of Angie's List. I was able to make the play I had tickets for later in the afternoon, without my daughter having to come over to watch for the repairman. The whole experience hardly caused a ripple in my day. I will definitely use and recommend SOS in the future!

i called the 24hr service as soon as I knew I had a problem around 10:30PM and he responded immediately with encouraging words that they would be at my home the next morning! The service man arrived on time and the work on the drain was done thoroughly--- he also left the sink shining! A great job!

Thephone was answered and appointment scheduled the morning I called. Prompt service and Aaron made sure I knew what he was doing and he would get my drains working the quickest and cheapest way. He cleaned bathroom sink and the kitchen drain that totally plugged. He cleaned up after the job. I have a 90 day warrantee and all is good. I woud use their service again the future e if needed.

Technician showed up on time, was very careful with my rugs and floor, fixed the clogged floor drain and carefully cleaned around the drain. Then he ran several buckets of water through the drain so I could see that it was fixed properly. I couldn't ask for a better job!

From the first call, the provider was responsive and helpful. We received a window for service that fit our schedule, then a call from Randy, the service tech when he was on his way. Randy was upbeat, professional and most of all, demonstrated integrity and competence. He could have easily charged double, upcharged or 'serviced' us to get more money but he came in at the lower of the two quotes he provided, did the work quickly and even cleared out our bathtub drain which was not in scope for the job. It was a great experience and we'd definitely use SOS again and recommend to others. Thank you!

SOS was fantastic. We had a 24 hour response time to get back to the buyer after they submitted inspection requests. I called late evening on Thursday and they were able to fit us in first thing on Friday morning. Brad came out and performed a video inspection of the sewer pipe and left us with a color video showing that there were absolutely no cracks, breaks or tree roots in our sewer pipe. They saved us thousands of dollars that our home buyer was attempting to scam out of us. I couldn't be more happy with their professionalism, punctuality or helpfulness! Highly recommended.

Water/sewage started to coming up the drain in our garage. He showed up exactly when they said they would. We called them late in the evening, and they came out the next morning. The drain from the garage connecting to the main drain was frozen, so he had to unfreeze it. Here on time, finished very quick. They were very great to work with.

I bought a home and it had been empty for 8 months, the kitchen drain was partially clogged and would not drain properly. I reviewed Angie's List and decided to call SOS Drain and Sewer. They came out within an hour and unclogged the drain and made sure the drain leading out to the street was cleaned as well. I felt it was a very good price, all things considered and I have to say Brad was top notch in completing the task in a reasonable time frame and cleaning up when he finished. A small job; everything went well. I called SOS around 10 am, and they said someone was in the area and could be in our house within the hour. and I was given a $105 estimate. Jeff and Boden arrived in about 30 minutes--great service. They used a snake to unclog the drain in our kitchen sink, which had become very sluggish over the past couple of days. It didn't take very long to clean out the drain and clean up under the sink. We paid about $95, which included a $10 Angles List coupon.

They were great. I like him a lot. When they put the thing that goes into the drain, it was large in comparison to Roto-Rooter that uses a smaller one and therefore they have to come back more frequently. SOS uses a larger one and we like that. They did extra mile. We didn’t know how long our pipes were. He even went out to the street. He took the time to keep going out to see how far it would be because we found out in the street where it comes out. It has a lid and he opened it up. He followed it to see where it goes in the yard. He was extra nice. He cleaned out the drain, unscrewed and put everything in but ours is difficult because we have a hard one that’s really old. He took the extra time to make sure that was all taken care of. He made sure everything was just perfect. He cleaned up good and everything. I was really happy with him. We’ll keep using him. If you mention Angie’s List, you'll get 10% off. I wish that his prices were cheaper.

The technician (I believe owner) was thorough and very clean. Gave me full information about his service. Very nice!

They came out right away even though it was at night since it was an emergency. The task at hand was extremely delicate and difficult since a 5 week old kitten had crawled 45 feet horizontally with the pipe turning 90 degrees at one point! Three men worked tirelessly for over three hours with sophisticated instruments allowing them to see the exact situation in the pipe. They said they were not leaving until they got her out. The kitten came out after being stuck for over 12 hours (we have a complicated setup at our house so it took us a while to realize she had crawled into the drain tile). She was no worse for wear. We, the foster parents, fared not as well from all the stress! Their proficiency, dedication and caring attitude way exceed any expectation! Even though this is a rescue but after witnessing their professional and caring attitude along with their high tech instruments we are sure they would do an excellent job in any situation!

I had SOS out for main line backup on March 6 2012 and again on November 7 2013. On November 7 the worker was 2 hours late out of the"window" they would be here but didn't let me know. Now I have main line backup again today December 8 2014 one year later. My main line has never backed up every year for 3 years in a row. Will not hire this company again. They did not do a satisfactory job.

We called on Monday and scheduled for the following Thursday. Brad came out and unclogged the bathroom sink, and made sure that the main line and the laundry room floor drain were both clear. Brad did a great job and using the coupons and discount saved up a lot of money. We have used this company before and they are great and will call them whenever we have problems with any of our drain.s

I called for service when my waterless urinal backed up and specifically asked for Randy as he has been to my house several times and he is very knowledgeable and does a great job. They called about an hour before the two hour window to say Randy was called to an emergency in St. Paul and asked if I would like to reschedule for Monday or have Brad come out. I chose Brad who called 10 minutes out. Brad has also been to my house a couple of times to video my main and laundry room run and was also very good at his job and very informative and knowledgeable. He admitted right off the bat that he had never worked on a waterless urinal before so it would be a learning experience. I told him that went for me as well. He asked me lots of questions about how it works, the chemicals used and I asked him lots of questions, too. He has done lots of flushable urinals so he was familiar with the trap layout inside the urinal...they are all alike. I had pictures of the behind the wall piping which he asked for. So he went to work and it took him maybe 10 minutes to free the clog. We talked for quite awhile about why this may have happened and he offered alternatives to try to perhaps prevent this happening again which we are going to use. We will see how it goes and will keep the guys informed and hopefully won't need to see them before next year's cleaning of our main. I love Brad and Randy and SOS. Having nice guys like these two is helping to keep me to a schedule for my sewer needs which is good for me and good for business. Thank you!

The service was really good. One person came out and it took about an hour at the most to do the job. I would say they were great. I did called them back and it seemed like they could not come out on the weekends.

Same day service with no emergency fee. Punctual, courteous & professional. Performed the service, cleaned up, provided advice. Will use again if this or something similar happens.

Louis was thorough, friendly and great about explaining some issues he was having so he called his boss to also come and look at the problem. He was good about explaining what needed to be done and was good about cleaning up afterwards. Used Angie's List discount which he already knew about when he arrived. Would use them again!
