Went great - I still haven't had the work done; but my goal was simply to understand my options and how much I would need to budget for this work.

They were punctual, polite, brought a big enough crew to get it done efficiently and left the property neat and free of construction debris. The result is absolutely perfect looking. I highly recommend them.

Dayco showed up on time and finished when they said they would. The crew was very professional and courteous.

Ralph Dvorak, the owner, returned my estimate request call promptly, and arrived on time. He patiently explained in detail what was needed, took photos of the damage, did not try to "up-sell" by suggesting additional work, and emailed a very professional estimate. When I contacted Ralph to schedule the work, he replied promptly and had the crew on site a few days later. The crew was friendly, courteous, obviously knew what they were doing, and did an excellent clean up job. Everything was done as expected and more, with the added repair, and all promises were kept. I would not hesitate to use Ralph and Dayco General again.

Second project where I have hired this Company. Nothing but excellent service and do highly recommend for cement work, chimney repair and stucco repair.

I think I spent about $7000 for their services. The whole thing was great. They were on time and neat. The work was great and it was well done.

Ralph Dvorak of Dayco General submitted a timely and professional bid, with quite detailed explanations of what they proposed to do, including photos. We went with another bid that was over 25% lower. I have no complaints whatsoever about Dayco.

Dayco was very quick to give me a detailed estimate. Once I scheduled the work, Ralph's team arrived on time and worked efficiently and left the work area spotless on their departure. Very friendly and professional. The garage looks great, and I'm no longer afraid to park my car inside of it! They also do garage floors, and I may call them back for that... I feel I definitely got my money's worth.

Dayco General showed up at the agreed upon time and I watched a professional crew set up their scaffolding to get to the roof and become immediately productive. They brought 2 crews to the job. One for the chimney and one for the planter. Both crews use a single foreman who monitored both parts of the job constantly. He showed a tremendous amount of diligence in making sure both the chimney and planter were removed and replaced correctly. The planter crew was a new crew with prior work experience. Both crews did excellent workmanship and cleaned up their work areas very well. I would hire them back in a heartbeat. The entire job was completed in one day. I suspect that if only one crew was used, the job would have taken two days. They had the right equipment and the right people for the job.

Dayco General was amazing! First of all, I started out bidding each of the 8-9 projects separately using 3-5 separate contractors. Rather than use separate contractors, Dayco was able to do it all. This saved me money and a lot of hassles. Another reason that I choose Dayco was that I was very concerned about the drainage from the driveway over the patio as the road dirt and salt had deteriorated the existing patio. Each contractor that I had bid had a different idea of how to solve this problem - concrete, aggregate, bluestone, drains, etc. Ralph's proposal made the most sense. Each contractor also had different ideas about the other projects and Ralph's made the most sense for those as well. Dayco's work was perfect. I couldn't be more please with the quality - it is exceptional. The work on the paver patio and stone steps is very artistic and made the investment in stone over concrete well worth it. Both are beautiful and I get many compliments. Ralph worked with me every step of the way. When I was unsure about the stone to use on the steps to go with the house, Ralph met me at the stone shop and showed me the possibilities. The workers were on time, polite, and worked with me to make things turn out just the way I wanted them. They were also trustworthy. I can't say enough about their professional, attention to detail, and fair price..

1. Contacted them through an online inquiry. 2. Company came out and did detailed analysis and submitted professional estimate showing before/after photos. 3. Scheduled time to be there and completed work professionally and cleaned up the entire property after.

After telling Dayco to proceed with the chimney last Friday, April 8, they had the entire thing done by yesterday, April 13th, which I think is absolutely unbelievable. I really didn't have to lift a finger - they came out, inspected, gave me an inspection report that told me everything that was going on, even had PICTURES of my chimney in their report. It was no-nonense. They are the absolute best.

Ralph came over and did an estimate, which was very reasonable, and which they stuck to. They were efficient about getting the work done, and I'm very pleased with the results. I would certainly recommend Dayco General.

I spent $3000 on that service. They were probably at the upper end of the price when they gave me an estimate, but the estimate did not change. I paid what they quoted me and I feel that it was worth paying so much for that work. I have them scheduled to work with me this summer.

Dayco was very responsive and had an estimate for us quickly. Their work was done carefully, and with high quality. They started and finished their work on time. In addition they are extremely pleasant individuals and great to work with. I recommend them highly.

Despite the added cost, I believe the job was well done and now I have greater confidence in the integrity of my chimney. Dayco pulled the necessary permit - something another bidding contractor was unwilling to do because they felt the job was "too small" to warrant a permit. I'm happy with the result from Dayco.

We hired Dayco to repair a drainage problem that was eroding the foundation under the garage, repair the brickwork on the garage, and replace the front walk and driveway. Ralph the the crew were very professional and friendly. The work looks beautiful. They managed to reuse the existing brick and matched the mortar so well that you can't see where the repair was done. They also matched the new aggregate sidewalk to the existing aggregate stoop. Lots of attention to detail in grading the walk and drive and to repairing the bricks. They also made good suggestions for sealing against water inside the garage. When the gap under the foundation turned out to be a lot bigger than expected and the foundation in worse shape than we thought, they did not hit us with extra expenses!! We definitely recommend them.

They were recommended by our roofing company and are one of the few people that do this particular work. We called him and he showed up and got all the permits and did everything he could and did a first rate job. He also recommended that the chimney be swept. He showed up with the whole crew and did the work all in a day and seemed to be very caring about what was on the ground and even showed up ahead of time. They also gave us written communication about what were theirs and our responsibilities.

Dayco was recommended by a roofing contractor. I checked with Angie's List prior to calling the company. Ralph, the owner, came over as scheduled and provided a detailed estimate via email along with pictures and other documentation. On the day of repair, 4 people showed up. They remove four rows of brick and replace them with new bricks. Work was done professionally.

I was very pleased. They worked with me on the quote to bring it within my budget. The size of the house made it a big job that they were able to do without any problems or any additional cost on my part.

I noticed some loose chimney joints that were in need of tuckpointing. Dayco warned that rot might be found, entailing extra work, but no rot was present. I thought the price was kind of high, but didn't realize the entire chimney would be fixed. Originally contracted just for the main chimney. Dave noticed there was a second smaller, inactive chimney that also needed repair. Dayco did both at the same time for an additional $150, included in the reported price. The crew was pleasant, professional, and thorough. They cleaned up pretty well, although some mortar debris was later found in my gutters probably due to the presence of leaves. Due to a rainy season, it was difficult to schedule the work, but I'm happy Dayco was able to complete work well before winter.
