From start to finish Eric coordinated everything with the city, contractors, and turned our backyard from a trees and weeds disaster zone into a beautifully landscaped backyard. We still talk about how impressed we were with the speed of this huge project (start to finish, under a month!) while never cutting a corner. Eric won't allow you to cut a corner, and now that the project is finished, we know why. Every inch of the project turned out according to the design and engineered layout. Eric was constantly on site and involved with every step. We are so impressed with him, his crew and the way it all turned out. A huge thanks to Boulder Works.

Eric (owner of Boulder Works) met with us numerous times as we explored options for our project. He was instrumental in determining a design for our back yard project. He came up with an idea that we had not thought of... and eventually used his design for the final project saving us money in the long run. We met with others and decided Boulder Works was the best fit. Eric promised to dedicate his time to our project and he didn't disappoint. He was there every day when weather permitted and made sure to coordinate the deliveries of product to coincide with his timeline. With 35+ dump truck loads of fill (from all different contractors and job sites) and 12+ loads of huge boulders along with engineer requirements for geo-grid, this was not easy. We were so impressed with how this process was managed by Eric. Another key was the relationship between Eric and the landscape designer Dave Hoyt. These two guys make a great team. They are so hands on and never left us wondering where things stood and what the next steps were. The boulder wall was a 50K investment on the way to an overall 90K end project and things worked seamlessly. Is that even possible? We didn't think so, but it is true. I really can't say enough about Boulder Works. If we ever need anything like this done again, it will not even be a question - we will just call Eric... no one else. He'll take care of us. He will do the same for you.

Eric was fantastic to work with. Oddly enough, my wife wanted a large, interesting landcape boulder as a birthday present. Eric directed me to a location at which I could pick one out. He then arranged to deliver it and place it in the precise location in my yard (a planting bed). He gave great advice regarding how it would look best, covered my lawn with plywood to prevent damage, and placed it perfectly using a bobcat. He made it simple, and even swept up the street afterward. All of this on very short notice, a day before my wife's birthday. Highly recommended.

Great job by Eric. The wall turned out better than we had hoped for and Eric made a couple of enhancements to our original design that improved the result. Eric was a complete professional, reasonable cost, started and finished as scheduled. I would definitely recommend Eric.

Both of my experiences with Eric were excellent. He is professional, comes on time and finishes when he promises. His estimate was free both times and right on when the work was completed. The story for this use of his expertise started at 7 a.m. after a long night of using a wet vac trying to keep the rain out of my garage/basement. He came during the rain to give me a recommendation on how to solve the problem that was created by another project that replaced the front steps with a timber deck last year. With no rain and no snowfall I didn't realize that there was going to be a problem with drainage. Eric said he would be at my house on a certain time and date - and he was. In fact, he spent time before he was expected to work with the city and the service to mark the gas line, etc. During the process he took the time to explain what he was doing and how the end result was going to solve the problem. And he finished on time and left the work site immaculate. Watching Eric place those boulders with his Bobcat and forks is amazing!
