I was pressed for time and they were the most able to respond on my timetable. Cost wise I would normally have used a different company. That said, the job itself went fine, they were fast and efficient, took about 10-15 minutes, which was the reason I dogged the price a bit, parts were less than $20, so the hourly rate was pretty steep. Had two lights, a switch and four outlets installed in my outside shed. There was considerably more in parts and time, yet with that company the cost was only about double this one. A bit expensive, but the work was top notch.

The panels they installed were put in according to all my requests and were installed very neatly. They were very cordial to work with, were timley, and reasonable on price. I spoke the the electrical inspector after the work was completed and he said that they did an excelent job, which is what he said he is used to seeing from them. I plan to hire them in the future and would reccomend them to others.

Grace was amazing, she worked through my electrical issues and had some great ideas for running electrical on an existing older house. The service guys she sent out to do the work were very capable, very easy to work with, and got the job done very quickly. I was very impressed and will use Grace Electric for all my electrical needs going forward.

Grace Electric quickly responded to our request for a quote. She evaluated the work and suggested additional remodel enhancements. Once contracted her team neatly and quickly did the work.

When I called, I got a great response. The person was very friendly and seemed to be all about providing a value-added experience. For example, she suggested I add a couple other projects to the visit since a GFI replacement wouldn't be that difficult and there would be no need to spend money on another service charge for another visit if two projects could be done during the same visit. We set up a time for the service - and she instructed me that she would call me between Wednesday and Friday to indicate when she would be on her way to do the job. I waited through Wednesday...Thursday...and Friday, with no contact. It was a bit disappointing because I had to scramble and get someone to come take care of it before Christmas. I never did get a call back from anyone at Grace Electric. I assume the problem was I didn't offer a big enough job to make it worthwhile. So, rather than say that - the hope would be that I would just go to the next provider...which I did. ***Update: After submitting my initial report to Angie's List, Grace from Grace Electric sent me a personal letter apologizing for the situation. She didn't make any excuses - just a simple "I screwed up" message and a whole-hearted apology. But what really blew me away is she sent me a check for $75...basically what she would have charged me for the service. I couldn't accept the check since it wasn't as though she performed a poor service or contributed to a situation that cost me more money. Either way, I was going to pay to have my GFI repaired...and I did to another company. So it didn't make sense to accept money for something I didn't deserve. But the willingness for Grace to do this speaks volumes. I'm in the public relations/advertising business. Honestly, if every one of my clients conducted business this way, I'd probably be out of work - ha ha. Actually, it would just take a few instances like this and I'd know exactly what I would advise for a marketing campaign...just tell this story and the customers will be lining up. Anyway, I couldn't allow my original Angie's List report to sit out there as is. Grace's response deserves kudos. Also, it's a testament to the value of Angie's List.

This seemed like a simple procedure since the severed line from the house was exposed above the soil. This proved misleading once Jeremy started digging it out, however. The exposed cord was not actually attached to anything. Finding the real ends of the severed cord proved more difficult, but he found it, somewhat miraculously, and never became visibly frustrated. I then dug the trench myself (to save 1-2 billable hours) and Jeremy efficiently took care of the electrical work (running the new cord from the house, attaching conduit outside, electrical box inside, etc.). This took the better part of an afternoon on account of my lack of understanding how much work was required. Grace Electric fulfilled their obligations beautifully. I will absolutely call them for future electrical work.

Grace is absolutely wonderful to work with. We have a 100+year old home and were concerned about working around the existing plaster walls and oddities of an old home. The estimate took about 5 business days to receive. Once we decided to get the work done, Grace happened to have an opening and came just 2 days later after I called to schedule an appointment for the work. Everything was completed in about 1 1/2 days. There was no damage whatsoever to the walls- I never would have known they had been there if I didn't know what work had needed to be done. I would highly recommend her and her team, and will be using them again if any more needs arise.

They were wonderful but the subcontractor that they had hired was bad. The subcontractor took eighty six days for a job that normally took only ten days. Grace Electric was nice, clean and perfect but the subcontractor did not do their job well. They were on time and pleasant to deal with. They were charming. Their work was nice. However, I would not like to use their services in future because we were not happy with their subcontractor.

Installed an additional light in dining room, but wiring the new light, existing light, and an outlet circuit together with the wall switches was beyond my ability. Grace was very helpful and courteous on the phone. The electrician she sent was professional and worked quickly. Following the job, I learned a few friends have also used Grace Electric and have been very happy with the service. Would definitely use Grace electric again.

They were recommended so I called them up. They were punctual unlike some electrical companies. They did the work, cleaned up and did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

Grace is the first electrician I have ever met who actually appreciates the quality and character of historic houses. She went out of her way to make sure her interventions in walls and ceilings were at a minimum to get the job done, and she made several recommendations of how we could do things better than we had originally thought. Her craftsmanship is superb as well, to the point where she made sure that all screw slots were left in a vertical position once she had finished inserting the screw, rather than leaving the slots in random positions as most electricians do. Her attention to detail in this way was most impressive.
