When he showed up to look at it I explained that I either wanted a concrete slab poured or maybe some decorative type of work so I could park my grill on it. He measured the area, took my business card (With my personal phone number and email) and said he would email an estimate to me. That was the last I heard from them. No estimate no contact, nothing. This seems to be a trend in the Fargo/Moorhead area. Unless you have a large job contractors don't want to deal with you. I have called several contractors about jobs and no one calls me back.
Description of Work: I had a new deck built on the back of my house. When it was finished I ended up with a 5' by 12' area in the ground that I needed to have something done to it. I called to get an estimate on a simple concrete job.

Not much to tell. I called them, spoke with someone who took down my name, phone, and address. They said they'd come out for an estimate. This was 5 weeks ago now, and nobody's called or stopped by. I couldn't recommend you calling this business if you're just looking for help with a small residential project... they must not need the business too bad.
Description of Work: I called Concrete Concepts to have someone stop over and estimate the cost of installing a rain drain in a slab of concrete near the front door of our home.

We were originally going to do a paver patio on our own, but a neighbor across the street had these guys do his patio, and INSISTED that I get a quote from them before doing my own work. I was pretty shocked by how reasonable their price was, and it became a no-brainer to have them do it. I drew out what I wanted for the patio, including a square portion with a circle section on one corner, and they created exactly what I wanted. They even replaced an existing single piece of walkway (by a door) that I hadn't expected them to do. They were great guys to work with, and were very careful to not wreck our lawn while doing the patio on the back of the house. They laid down plywood for the skid steer loader to drive on, and carried the cement wheelbarrow by wheelbarrow around the house. They worked quickly, and were were fun to chat with. I've already recommended them to multiple friends, and now I'm the one INSISTING that they get quotes from these guys. Check them out at http://www.prettyconcrete.com.
Description of Work: Concrete Concepts poured a patio and walkway for us, with a stamped fieldstone design and a brown color. I had roughly drawn the patio that I wanted, and they created it perfectly!
