Nathan is hands down amazing. He has been helping with all the issues we had with our insurance company. The work they did was top notch. The roof looks great. The roofers were efficient. Clean up gets a 10 !! We would definitely use them again and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for roof repair.

AAA+++ Just Fabulous! I met Pro Tech Senior Project Manager Nathan Knopp at my home after a terrible hail and wind storm struck my community on Lake Pulaski in Buffalo, MN this summer. Nathan was professional, courteous, respectful, fast, efficient and very easy to work with during the entire process of the work that Pro Tech did for us - Damage Assessment, Insurance Claim Submission / Estimate / Approval, Roof Shingle and Gutter Selection, Scheduling Work, Managing the Work Process and Follow-Thru. Nathan Knopp was very* well versed on how to best interface with our home insurance company and was able to fast track a claim to them using their own claim submission app / process. As a result, we were able to get our roof repair expedited which suited us perfectly. Pro Tech is a Platinum Partner with Owens Corning which means we were able to do a wholesale level upgrade on our shingles to TrueDefinition Duration Designer Level shingles and we decided on the Merlot pattern/color. Our materials and crew showed up as promised and the work was done fast and efficient and passed inspection with the City of Buffalo easily. With Nathan Knopp's guidance and support, we were also able to upgrade our gutter guard to a style/manufacturer that is better suited/engineered to our steep roof pitch for our designer lake home. I have to say that working with Nathan Knopp and Pro Tech was easy and very informative and my wife and I feel that we came away from this experience with not only an upgraded roof and gutters, but with a lot more understanding of how the roof and gutter system in our home works to protect our home from the elements. If you have to choose a company to restore your home, you MUST have Pro Tech and Nathan Knopp stop over to do your assessment! Thank you Nathan and Pro Tech!

I'm very pleased. In one day the old roof was removed and my new roof was installed and it looks beautiful. The install team arrived at 8 a.m. and left at 3:30 p.m. I've had many compliments and the install was exactly as ordered. I worked with Chris Jovan who was introduced to me by my neighbor who also had their roof replaced by Pro Tech Restoration. Chris helped me to use my insurance dollars wisely and that took the anxiety out of the project. The evening before the install I changed the roof vent design from box vents to the ridge vent. Chris implemented the change and everything went well. I highly recommend Pro Tech Restoration. Chris is professional, responsive and timely. Very happy with everything.

Randy Burge, from Pro Tech Restoration, responded the same day we contacted them. He came and checked our roof and found the leak. He then went to the local store, purchased what was needed and had it fixed before any more rain came and did not charge us. He checked the roof and gave us a quote to repair the part of the roof affected by the leak. We are checking into code for vents but will go with them to repair the roof. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of work.

Chris was very professional and friendly. He brought a ladder and went up to look at the roof, gutters and chimney. He evaluated the age of the shingles and said that there was normal wear due to the age of the shingles, but everything was solid. I really appreciate his honesty and integrity about the condition of our home! He also said that he would be in touch if he noticed any storm damage in our area, as his parents live close by! Very cool!

Brian the Pro-Tech agent worked with me and the insurance company through further inspections, insurance claim estimations, and final completion of the roof replacement. The whole job although taking over a month due to inspections and roofing color choices, was completed correctly, with little personal cost. I was so pleased with the job that I further added some gutters to an area of the house, which further qualified for an angies list discount. I was very pleased with the work performed and would not hesitate to use thier services again.

We were very happy with the whole experience working with Pro Tech Restoration. From the initial interaction, working with our home insurance company and running the crews - they were both professional and responsive to work with. One issue that came up during the reroofing project was the identification of rotten roof boards under the previous 2 layers of roofing. One call to our project manager (Tony Flattum) and they had 19 sheets of 1/2" OSB delivered immediately which enabled the project to be completed in 6-7 hours!

All I can say is that Thomas McNamara, the young sales rep, was amazingly responsive to every phone call, email, complaint, request for information and clarification. He's a born salesman, and he has the ability to make you feel like your job is the only job he has. I have referred him to many of my neighbors, and they were very pleased with Thomas as well. He's very knowledgeable about the business, and he really goes to bat for his customers.

Tony was polite, punctual and professional. He did not attempt to up-sale while evaluating the condition of the roof. We would definitely use Protech again when the need arrises..

Pro Tech Restoration replied immediately after we signed up for the $99 roof inspection and maintenance. The company caller was so polite and genuinely seemed to care about the customer. Very nice. Brian Jovan called back after the initial call and wanted to set up a time right away - we didn't have to wait at all. He was punctual, friendly, informative and cared about the work he was doing and did a great job.

There was a miscommunication with email address. The company has come and finished the job correctly.

Brian was great to work with. Very friendly and professional and knowledgeable. The repairs made were very minor, but the information he was able to give me about my roof, its age, and the materials it is made of was very helpful. I just bought my old house, so getting some expert advice and info was worth the money. I now know that I'll likely need to deal with my roof in the next few years, and these guys will be at the top of my list.

He explained all of the problems, and when things should be done. He spent a lot time on the roof and fixed things he normally would not have done. He forgot about the appointment, and tried to make it up.

The technician did a thorough job and showed me pictures of areas of concern. I felt that the service was very reasonably priced and the information that I received was honest.

Tony Flattum came out to do a quick inspection we purchased during one of ProTech's promotions. Due to some local road construction he made it a couple minutes late, which initially made me a little skeptical. He more than made up for it with his exceptional service. The roof of the house we just purchased had been installed poorly and in a hurry. 30-45 nails were sticking up too far for the shingles to lay flat, preventing us from getting insurance on the roof until the problem was corrected. I assumed Tony would be able to give us an estimate or advice on how I could fix it. In the end, he spent a couple hours actually doing the repair at no additional charge. After a challenging home buying experience and multiple experiences where we had to fight to keep from getting ripped off it was refreshing to have someone go far above what was expected. Tony was professional, knowledgeable, thorough and beyond helpful. I would recommend ProTech to anyone.

I was very impressed with the support of the project manager, R J Burge, and the installation crew. Eight workers showed up on my fairly complicated roofline and completed the work in one day. The work was excellent, and the crew left my yard and deck spotless.

We had a very good experience with Brent Nelson from Pro Tech Restoration replacing a roof that was damaged due to a storm. We had just moved into a new house and happened to notice a few new roofs going on in the area?which we thought was odd. We wondered if there had been a storm recently, but put it on our list of ?stuff to follow up on? until Brent came knocking on our door one day. Brent explained the recent storm activity and offered to check out my roof. I thought ?Excellent timing? and ?Why not?? After inspecting the roof Brent explained that there was substantial enough damage to warrant the replacement of the roof. My first reaction was one of skepticism. But the fact of the matter is that calling a roof bad that is not bad is a waste of the sales persons time, a waste of the insurance adjusters time and would quickly diminish the reputation of a roofing company with a major source of income, the insurance companies. Following this logic I agreed to work with ProTech and have Brent start communication with the insurance company. Our situation was complicated by the fact that the storm damage occurred before we took possession of our house, so this was going to have to be run through the previous owner and their insurance. The adjuster from the previous owner?s insurance company came out to inspect the roof, agreed with Brent?s findings and gave the green light for a full roof replacement. From there on out Brent took care of everything. He handled all communication with the previous owner and their insurance company. We didn?t have to do one thing. Winter came early, so the project was going to have to wait until spring. As soon as the snow melted Brent was right on top of things and scheduled the roof to go on in mid April. The roofers arrived, the skies were clear and it looked like it was going to be a beautiful day. Within an hour it started snowing!!! The roofers kept plugging away sweeping snow off the roof. I was watching them thinking, ?Geesh! They must be hating life right now!? I was wondering what this was doing to the roof and if they should continue. Soon Brent arrived on site to put my mind at ease, explain the process and got up on the roof with the crew to inspect how things were going and pitch in with getting snow off the roof. Within two hours the skies were clear and all of the snow was melted and gone. Welcome to Minnesota!! The crew toughed through it and completed the roof in one day. They roof looks great! Brent did a great job in helping us pick out the right shingles that would complement our home, which made my wife happy?.which makes me happy. Equally important as the installation of the roof is the cleanup. This is an area where you will hear home owner?s blast roofing companies. Pro Tech did a great job of cleanup. I haven?t encountered one thing that I have needed to pick up. Brent personally came over to our house after the job was done with his magnet to make sure there wasn?t anything the crew missed. Brent made many trips out to our home through the whole process and always took the time to thoroughly explain everything in a very straight forward, non-rushed manner. I think that Pro Tech probably has a tighter relationship with their roofers than some bigger roofing companies may have and I think this makes a big difference as well. We had a very positive experience and I would recommend Pro Tech.

Brian came out to inspect roof for cause of loud noise on windy days. While it is unclear whether the noise is coming from loose shingles, did a thorough job of searching for the problem (including siding, soffet, etc), and ended up sending a worker out to seal down loose shingles in the area where the issue is located at no additional cost. Also fixed a loose down-spout and a few pieces of loose siding, also at no additional cost. Punctual and professional. I would use this company again.
