They did a beautiful job. They put a piece of Plexiglass on the top of the window with a hinge which protects the window from icicles that could fall down. They were wonderful to work with and were really happy with the person they sent out to do the job.

This was a seamless project. Our project consultant, Tyler Arrell, was very good to work with. He worked with our insurance company to get a full roof replacement. From start to finish the job took just 2 weeks. Our project manager, Mike, made sure everything went smoothly on the job site. Dumpster and supplies were delivered when they said they would be - no delays. The roofing crew was pleasant and conscientious. Bushes were covered and everything got cleaned up at the end of each day. We are very happy with the service we received and highly recommend Perfect Exteriors.

All work was done very professionally and the end result was that the building looks almost new. Most impressive though: I had concerns about some sharp edges on the barn, and since I have horses, was worried that they might become injured. Perfect Exteriors responded to my concern the same day I voiced it, sending someone out to alter the edging so it is now safe. Two months ago the wind turbine on the roof of the barn blew off in the extremely high winds, exposing a foot wide area of the roof. Again I phoned the company, and when I returned home from work that same day, there was a new turbine installed. Companies are almost all willing to take your money initially, but it seems so rare lately to find a company that continues responding to customers after the check is written. These people are amazing!

I don't normally take the time to write letters like this, but when a company delivers such superior performance it should be recognized. I could not be more impressed with my initial contact with your Project Consultant, Michael Hayes. He gave me detailed information about your company, the quality of your products and a complete outline of how the project would be done, including a firm start date and time to complete the project. I was also very impressed with your Roofing Supervisor, Jeff Greenlun. The entire roofing team was considerate and professional. There weren’t any rookies running around asking others how to proceed. They all worked quickly, but carefully, and the project was completed exactly on time. The Siding Contractor, Robert Starks, also had a superior team of experienced professionals. He took time to explain why the quality of the siding was the best and the procedures that would be followed by his team. When the project was completed everything was cleaned up perfectly. This included a magnetic sweep of the lawn to pick up any stray nails. I really appreciated that. The difference between Perfect Exteriors of Minnesota and the company that had previously replaced my roof was like night and day. I have also submitted a complete rating to Angie's List. Perfect Exteriors rep, Michael Hays stopped by on a cold call on September 4, 2013 about a month after a severe hailstorm on August 6, 2013. I was under the impression that we did not have damage on our 10-year old roof, but Mike inspected it and photographed the incidences. As an engineer, I am relatively picky so I visited the rooftop regularly to knock down proud nails and check some of the detail work such as flashing and moisture barrier. I was very pleased with the very precise and high-quality work performed by the crew. Edges and overhang were "perfect" and the new flashing installed around the masonry chimney was installed as one piece in a newly sawn groove. Cleanup was excellent and Mike visited after the job to make sure there was nothing left undone. He had previously explained all the insurance payment request details, so the final bill was settled on October 2, 2013, less than one month after the first contact. As weeks went by, I found that my neighbors who selected other contractors were facing delays, upcharges, insurance difficulties and disputes. At the time of this writing, 6 months have passed and some neighbors still have contractor signs in their yards meaning the job is not complete and inspected.I did not pick Perfect Exteriors from responses on Angie's List. The contact was pure random chance. However, based on my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend this company as opposed to another company that did substandard work and was secured under Angie's List. As selected above, I would recommend Perfect Exteriors to my neighbors

We contacted Perfect Exteriors about possibly needing new roof. They reviewed our roof, indicated we needed a new roof and siding due to hail damage. Because we were doing both those major items, we decided to also order 13 new windows, specifically because we were having the siding done at the same time and could put in NEW CONSTRUCTION windows, not replacement inserts. Two representatives from the company came to our house to measure the windows. We repeatedly stated the ONLY reason were replacing all the windows is because we wanted NEW CONSTRUCTION windows and could do at the same time as the siding was also being replaced as to not damage the siding. We repeated stated we did NOT want replacement inserts. They indicated they were clear on this during our meeting. It took 3 weeks for the windows to be delivered. The roofing team came out and completed our re-roof in 2 days - they were quick and completed quality work. The siding crew came, ripped off the siding on our house and then Window team came and started replacing our windows. They screwed up the windows: They were INSERT replacements - NOT the NEW CONSTRUCTION windows were repeatedly said we wanted. Additionally, 2 windows were wrong (they put the wrong finishing put on the wrong sized windows). My husband called the representative from the company who had come to our house and taken the order, only to have him try to convince us why we wanted replacement inserts (even though we'd already told him at our house that we'd done the research and wanted NEW, not replacement inserts). The representative was less than customer-focused, arguing with my husband so my husband asked to talk to the owner. The owner was much more customer-focused, apologizing for the situation, offering that he could order the new windows but it would take another 3 weeks or put in the replacement inserts and provide us a discount on them since they were not what we had ordered. Based on the fact that it was the mid-of January with all our siding off our house at this point, we didn't want them to put the siding off and have to peel it back (risking damaging the brand-new siding) to put in the new windows 3 weeks later, we opted to just go with the replacement inserts but were EXTREMELY disappointed and unhappy with Window experience with Perfect Exteriors. Then we had to wait another 3+ weeks for the 2 completely wrong windows to be re-ordered and re-installed. Finally, when we received the final bill, there were errors on it. The amount that should have been credited to us for error in the windows was added as another charge, rather than a credit.

It was quick and painless. I need a extra box for future lighting. No problem. Reinstalled the trim and sealed as if it had never been done. I was Impressed with the speed and the work was excellent. I have them at the to of my list for remodel in the future. Looking to add on to my garage in the near future.

I had a storm come through and it produced huge hail in the neighborhood. I was approached by several roofing company's and only took their cards. After researching many company's I decided to join Angie's list. After looking into several of the roofers I still wasn't satisfied with my options. In talking with friends and family one name stood out Perfect Exteriors of Minnesota...I returned to Angie's list and WOW was that enlightening. I called and hooked up with Jake... He was very knowledgeable, thorough and you could tell he felt his company was the best option. After they were finished I was impressed and grateful that I took the time to research my choices. They arrived on time went to work and finished in the time frame they promised. They cleaned up when done and left my home looking great. I will be looking forward to working with Jake and his team in the near future for siding.

I find the cold calling a neighborhood and the lack of use of a the do not call registry very unprofessional.

Perfect Exteriors of Minnesota are so professional, polite and fast! Every time I had to call them, they either picked up right away, or got back to me within an hour. The roofing crew started on time, cleaned up well, friendly and fast! There was someone to take care of each step and their communication was great! I always knew what to expect and when I could expect it. By all means....I would use them again and/or refer them to someone. THANKS again for such great service!

Tyler Arrell did a great job fully representing the product and service, answered all questions, and ensured the work was done on time ... all in response to unreasonably short notice from me. Great work! Jeff Greenlun and team did a terrific job on a challenging roof. From punctuality to professionalism of the entire crew, could not be more pleased with the quality of the work. Roof (and yard) looks great! My sincere thanks to the entire Perfect Exteriors Team. A great experience!

We did not have a good experience with them. The sales guy was the son of the guy who owns the company. He was very big on the high pressure sales. They did come by the second time and complete the job to what our understanding of that was. They need to redo the clean-up and spots that were not done well the first time. First, they said they would be going to do it at cost then there was something about they said they need to make a profit out of it but they at least gave us a discount. We were not happy with them. We would not use them again.

Perfect Exterior provided excellent service, they handled all the issues with our insurance company and made it virtually hands free. We had our roof and siding done the employees who did the work did a great and very time friendly job. Perfect Exteriors are a very professional and friendly company. They are very knowledgeable and know their work. We were very satisfied and have gone on to recommend them to friends and family.

We had them replace our roof due to hail damage. They did an estimate and then met our insurance agent at our house to "convince" him that our roof had hail damage and did need replacing, not just a major repair. We did all of the necessary research, BBB, references, Angie's list, google search, etc and they were rated very highly. They were prompt and replaced our roof in two days. Very professional.

Our siding and roof suffered damage due to a hail storm in July of 2011. We contacted Perfect Exteriors after contacts with other contractors that we were not pleased with. Two sales people came out immediately to meet with us (one being the owner's son). They were very informative and helpful. We decided to sign with them on the spot, as they seemed to be reputable. They handled everything with our insurance company, which saved us a lot of the headache. Once the contract was signed it took quite a while for the project to get going. They claimed that the siding needed to be ordered, and there was a delay from the company who supplies this. The first project to get going was the roof. I was very concerned about daily cleanup and I was assured that everything would be cleaned up each night on completion of the days work. This was not the case. The sub team laid out some small tarps that were supposed to catch the nails and debris as they were tearing off the old roofing materials. It's very windy in my area, so as usual the wind was blowing and the tarps were blowing the materials all over my yard (and in the yards of my neighbors). I called them immediately to address this. I was treated that it was an annoyance. They spoke with the sub team, and they informed me that this wouldn't be an issue anymore. I looked outside a little while later, and their resolution to the wind was to disassemble my retaining wall to use those landscaping bricks to hold down their tarps. When this was brought up with them- they again treated us like we were making a big deal out of it. (This sub team also moved my outdoor table to the front of the house, so they could all eat lunch on it) The siding sub team was much more professional. There was a slight problem with our screws popping out of the dry wall in some areas, due to the banging from their installation. But, this was rectified. The project didn't get completed until November of that same year. At this time we noticed a few additional spots that needed repair that we/they had noticed initially. We were never contacted back about this. We feel that they didn't want to deal with us anymore. These areas still haven't been fixed to date. Dealing with the owner's son was very difficult. There was a discrepancy about amounts owed and we needed to figure out what the final numbers were. He got very aggressive and disrespectful to my wife on the phone (and she was 7 months pregnant at the time). We did have a problem with part of the wrapping around the window coming off this spring. We called their main number and it was fixed promptly. I think that you might have a good experience depending on who you are working with.

I have got mixed feelings about Perfect Exteriors of Minnesota. What happened to me was pretty awful and I don't know if I want to hurt the companies future business. They didn't accurately assess the amount of work and materials that were needed to do the job. It seems like their was a disconnect that the salesperson didn't understand the concept that if you have a certain kind of sloped roof you would have to build up the roof up so it is more level and that is going to be a whole lot more expensive. That is something the installer would have understood. It is the incompetence of the salesperson in the understanding of what the needs were. I have an old Victorian house which has sloped roofs and porch roofs and I think he was used to dealing with pole barns or other buildings that had sheet metal roofs installed. My house had a cedar shingle roof. It required them to remove that and I wanted a more permanent solution. I think he was eager to get the work and he said yea we can do it for this much and if you give me half of the money by tomorrow I can get an order in and I can get the work done in 2 or 3 weeks. I never heard from him again and I called them back like 3 or 4 times over the course of 4-5 months. I finally got a hold of the owner by accident. He answered the phone and I told him what was going on and he was embarrassed, ashamed, and very apologetic. He was not aware of this happening and said he would deal with it immediately. Which he did. He got his son, who was the salesman, to call me back and then we mutually agreed that this wasn't going to work out. I wasn't going to have the work done for $7000 when we had a contract for $2200.

I loved working with them! I called with issues 6 months after the work and their response time was within hours. They remedied both problems. Everything was really top notch!

We met with the Sales rep and the company president shortly after the May 10, 2011 hailstorm. They helped us file a claim with our homeowners insurance, and the replacement coverage on our home covered the cost of repair. One crew did all the roofing, from tearing off old roof to appropriate layers under the shingles, and shingles. Our garage roof needed repair that was not covered by insurance, and we worked with PE to fix the underlying problem at our expense. We were happy that they brought the problem to us and didn't just cover it up. The siding was put on by a different crew, also very professional. They took care to align siding with windows, and finished everything very professionally. Crew was considerate in the way they treated our house, and us too. The siding project took a bit longer than anticipated since the color was a special order. We are very happy with the end result, and we have rehired Perfect Exteriors to replace an old garden window in our kitchen.

Perfect Exteriors handled everything with working with insurance company, to planning, temp fix of roof. Yes, they were able to redo the roof in March during a warm spell, which only took 2 days. I would highly recommend this company.
