Excellent. I was very pleased with the end product, and with his attention to detail. He left nothing out, and was extremely efficient. He came out one day and pulled the bushes out, tore out the existing concrete walk and patio, including an existing support patio rail, cleaned it all up and was gone before I got home. He brought in extra (soil-class 5 ) to pull it all up to grade. While I was anxious to get it done, he suggested waiting a week or so for rain-to compact the soil he added (mentioning the reason my original patio settled was because they did not wait for everything to settle, then after several years of rain, it began to settle and tilt) So, I took his advice, and waited, we did get some rain, and we watered a bit, but then the concrete went in. The end result is wonderful. I truly am thrilled with the design, his ability to follow it using curved boards-and the final product will last for years to come.
