Description of Work: My experience w/ Pete has been terrific. My house presented multiple challenges. I had a major water intrusion problem due to incorrect installation of the windows during the construction of my home. Additionally, none of my windows were “standard”. I had several very large and uniquely shaped windows, making ordering and installation a challenge. Pete seemed to be the most knowledgeable of the 4 people that I had bid the project, and was the only one who didn't bad-mouth the competition (determining quality of windows is tough, given the number of years it takes to really "test" them, so the claims that one window company makes about another are impossible to validate). He has been extremely patient, helpful, and low-pressure. His subs were friendly, knowledgeable, and obviously cared about quality. They discovered some fairly major rot issues behind the walls and, rather than just cover them up (as I suspect some subs would have done), spent time discussing my options w/ me and replaced the rotted wood. Pete was concerned how I'd react to the additional charges resulting from that work, but I actually thought it was extremely reasonable given how much labor was involved. I should also mention that the crew did a great job cleaning up after themselves. The biggest danger in working w/ Pete is that, as you see how helpful he is and how nice the new windows are, you may keep adding to the project. I initially planned on only replacing the widows where water intrusion was the most evident, but ended up spending about twice the initial bid because I kept deciding to do additional windows :-) As costs escalated due to the additional windows I replaced, Pete worked with me to explore more affordable options, such as replacing only sashes in some areas where entirely new windows weren’t needed. I have absolutely no regrets about using The Window Replacement Company. The materials, workmanship, and service provided were of the highest quality. I plan on using them again to replace some additional windows.

SHOWED UP ON-TIME FOR ESTIMATE, THOROUGH REVIEW OF DOOR, HONEST ABOUT LIMITATIONS IN FIXING AN OLD DOOR AND WHO ELSE I MIGHT NEED TO TALK TO IN ORDER TO GET THAT DOOR FIXED PROPERLY. FOLLOWED UP POST-ESTIMATE, AND CAME OUT TO MY HOUSE TO RE-CHECK MEASUREMENTS PRIOR TO ORDERING DOOR. GAVE ME GREAT ADVICE IN HELPING ME CHOOSE DOOR TO FIT STYLISTICALLY WITH MY 1918 HOUSE. INSTALLATION WAS ON DAY EXPECTED & WENT OFF WITHOUT A HITCH. CLEANED UP EVERYTHING, AND DID A FANTASTIC JOB! I LOVE THE NEW DOOR, AND HAVE ALREADY DECIDED I'D LIKE TO HIRE THEM FOR ANOTHER JOB TO REPLACE SOMETHING ELSE. THEY WERE GREAT, AND VERY PROFESSIONAL.

Description of Work: REPLACEMENT WINDOW COMPANY CAME OUT AND LOOKED AT THE WINDOWS THAT WE WISHED TO REPLACE. THEY MEASURED AND CAME BACK TO US WITH AN ESTIMATE AND SUGGESTIONS OF WHICH WINDOWS WOULD FIT OUR SITUATION THE BEST. THEY THEN ORDERED OUR WINDOWS AND INSTALLED THEM UPON ARRIVAL.
