Description of Work: I had contacted the Rainbow Treecare to give a free estimate for treating our two ash trees against the Emerald Ash Tree Borer and for removing all the dead wood in them. They scheduled for Will, their arborist, to give us the estimate. Will arrived on the scheduled time and provided us with an estimate. After comparing his estimate with the others we had received, we did hire Rainbow to do the jobs. The first crew called ahead of time and arrived promptly. They each took a tree and cut out all the dead wood. They trimmed some low hanging branches as well. They neatly cleaned up all the debris and moved it to the front of the house. Shortly another truck came to ground up and haul away all the limbs. They raked and picked up every stick. About ten days later, we were contacted that a technician would be coming to chemically treat the trees. He arrived at the scheduled time and proceeded to treat the trees which is guaranteed for 2 years. We were very impressed with the workers and their workmanship. The estimated cost was exactly what we were charged. We would definitely use this group again.

Description of Work: Rainbow Tree provided stump grinding for two very large stumps in my yard from storm damage. The grinder crew called when they arrived at the house to let me know they would be starting the work. When I stopped home at lunch time they had completed all of the work and everything look fantastic! Both stumps were completely removed. The holes were filled and packed with black dirt and the chips were removed as I requested. The yard was left spotless! Lead Stump Grinder, Reggie, and his crew were amazingly fast and incredibly respectful of the yard and the area where the stumps had been. And, Ben Johnson, Arborist, was equally as knowledgeable and provided an accurate, well laid out estimate of the work. I can very highly recommend Rainbow Treecare and their employees!

Description of Work: They were one of the companies I asked for bids for tree trimming. They had the highest bid, so I elected to go with another company, however, they repeatedly called, even after I returned a call stating I would not be using their services. It is unlikely that I would call them again.

Description of Work: We contacted Rainbow Treecare in the fall of 2013 to get a bid on tree removal, pruning/shaping, maintenance root care fertilization, and crab apple tree sprays. Arborist Jacob Nitz was punctual for our consultation appointment. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. After reviewing Rainbow's proposal, we chose to complete only the maintenance rootcare fertilization for our River Birch tree as the pricing was rather high. We called to schedule that service on May 16, 2014. Was told they would get to it when they could because their priority right now was spraying trees at the beginning of the season. We are still waiting to hear from them to get our service scheduled and completed. We are hopeful it will happen soon and will use this company again because they are the only company we are aware of that provides the ground injections we want for our River Birch.

Description of Work: We used Rainbow twice in the past year to remove very large old trees that were near our home and a neighbor's home. I was very impressed with their professionalism when they removed the first tree that was storm damaged last June. We had them return this winter to remove a tree that had major rot and deteriation. they were very careful to avoid damage to the structures. They arrived when they were expected and they cleaned up completely after they were done. they were not the lowest cost but I would recommend them where there is any risk of damage to adjacent structure.

Description of Work: Rainbow Tree Care worked on a large green ash tree in my yard. Several very large branches extending beyond my neighbors fence, plus several more drooping almost to the ground were removed. Also, dead wood throughout the tree was removed. The crew worked in a very professional mode and cleaned up all the debris. I was more than satisfied with the work done (and my neighbor is happy. too).
