They were excellent. They're very good. It was all done on one day. They were punctual and responsible. They also took the time to explain what they were doing and about the health of your trees and how to keep them healthy. They were educational as well as doing good work.

Great! Huge tree, only took 2 hours, and completely removed any debris.

Our Norway Maple was trimmed of any dead wood, overhang clearance from roof tops, and canopy clearance from the ground. We also had several shrubbery removed. The crew was very friendly and efficient. They were careful of newly seeded areas in the lawn, and cleaned up the area after they were done with the work.

Very well. They came out early in the morning, were done by lunchtime, and they dragged the cuttings to the curbside, where someone picked them up later that day. They did everything we had asked them to do, and were very helpful in answering questions that we had. Overall, it was a very good experience.

I like them a lot. They are great. Their price was about the same as everybody else I called. The man that came was a tree expert. He was really fun to talk to. They came when they say they would. I thought they were very professional.

They treat my elm tree. The broke my brand new yard light and my outdoor TV antenna. They did come out and fix the yard light but the antenna did not affect my reception. The problem is following up. It was winter and they said they would come back to pick up the twigs and there were lots of twigs. I called them last week and they did not know they were suppose to pick the twigs up which they did. They were also suppose to come treat it so it would not grow back. I am a little bit irritated. Why do I have to pay people to manage them. The price is high. I am been using them since 1990.

After a slightly delayed start, Marcus and Percy arrived, and quickly de-limbed the tree. They brought the trunk down, and piled the residue for removal the next day. It all happened without a glitch. The men were professional, friendly and very good at their work. We have used Rainbow Treecare in the past, and will do so again in the future.

Absolutely professional start to finish. Pete came out and did estimate. Provided us with options because we were working on a budget. Came the day they said they would and got the job done. Yard looks great.

We can't remember a time that we have received such excellent service! Pete, the consulting arborist, was very interested in our situation, did an expert job, and was extremely cordial and helpful. Consulting on oak: Pete applied a series of tests to determine if the oak had died from oak wilt. He also brought in an associate to help diagnose the tree. We plan on having Rainbow remove the tree this winter, and will have them check again in the spring to see if other nearby oaks have been affected. Cutting down elm: This was essentially one-half of a tree, since the other half had fallen in the wind. Pete came himself to cut it down. He dropped it in the exact spot that he said he would! We decided to handle the remaining wood by ourselves, but Pete was extremely helpful in the process.

Part of the crew arrived on the scheduled day but the bucket truck was still at the first job site on a bigger/trickier job than anticipated. We requested they come back at a later date when the bucket truck was available so they could do all the work in one day. They honored our request and rescheduled our work for two days later. Marcus, Shawn, and Mike arrived on time, went right to work and completed all trimming in a safe, prompt and conscientious manner. They had previously suggested that I remove any ornamental hangings/structures/pots under the trees that might be damaged from falling branches which I did. However, to be on the safe side, they removed a few more concrete items before beginning their work. The yard was much cleaner when they were done. They did an excellent job of cleaning up the yard, and I received several compliments from neighbors on how nicely shaped the trees looked when they were done trimming.

The arborist was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He was thorough in his assessment of our needs, providing estimates for more than what originally thought was needed. We probably would have used this company however their estimate was so high. We were able to find two other providers who gave us more reasonable estimates.

Rainbow treated my elm tree to prevent against dutch elm disease. I was disappointed by the large price increases over the years so solicited bids from other providers. Those bids were roughly half of what Rainbow charged, and they also provided knowledgeable service.

Always appreciate Rainbow's knowledge of what's best for trees. Did a find job. Cleaned up after themselves very well.

Have sprayed two ash trees for past four years. They are disease free and look great.

I hire these guys every two years to do a 'fall spray' for all sorts of bugs - but especially spiders. They do have a yearly service they offer, but honestly, this lasts two years for me. So for the price, can't go wrong. Great people!

This was a follow-up treatment two years after the initial treatment. Excellent work - expensive, but they are worth it. They know their stuff.

Rainbow was great. Very knowledgeable and answered questions about a few other trees where there wasn't any work to do. We wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Nice people and knowledgeable. Communication may be this company's weak point. I returned the signed contract in late spring and requested the job be done any time after Labor Day. I got a call in July saying they're ready to come out the next day. Once the job was finished, I received a scribbled note from the arborist about how it went but little information about what to do going forward (the next few years). I followed the directions in the company's pamphlet regarding how long to water with the irrigation line until I realized that at the rate they suggested, I would be dumping over 300 gallons of water on a six inch diameter tree every week. After waiting several days for a call back regarding questions I still had, I called again, and got a hold of another arborist working in the office that day and she proceeded to take it upon herself to answer all of my questions, even though I wasn't her direct client. Now, that is good service! After she reported my watering results to some supervisor, he agreed it was way to much and revised the schedule. Is anyone going to update the company's pamphlet?? In fairness to my original arborist, he did show up unexpectedly on-site later to check on things and answer questions.

The arborist is very punctual, professional and knowledgeable. He quoted one price for the work and we were charged about 20% more than the quote for the fertilization of the tree. We paid $500 for removing dead limbs from the tree. It didn't take very long and the trimmer wasn't very thorough. There are still dead limbs on the tree. I think they are overpriced and did sloppy work. I won't be asking them out for tree service again. We've had other tree services that provided better results for a lot less money.

No issues with the actual tree removal itself, or the arborist that came out. I think the communication from the home office was poor. They would schedule and not show up. I understood why, though. It was because of the storms that had happened a couple days earlier, but no call, no reschedule until I initiated it. Now, it's been over a month and the stump has not been removed. The utility markings have all disappeared. They did come out almost 2 weeks ago and the markings that could still be seen were too close to the stump so they said they would return. Have not heard anything since. They will need to call the utility marking services again. Just a long process and it would just be nice to know, since we have so many things going on with our hail damage on the home. But all and all, I think they're probably a great tree service. The arborist outlined a plan for the entire lot which would have been over $2,500. So it was a little sticker shock in that respect, but there's no pressure. They have followed up to remind us of our needed treatment on the ash trees.

Charles Kastern was my contact on this project. He kept me informed of all of the details, made sure that all of my questions were answered, and was easy to work with. He did a wonderful job. Everyone else at Rainbow Treecare that I came in contact with was equally professional and helpful. This was a big project that involved a crane to lift the tree parts out onto the street, permits from the city to block off the road, and a very large, old tree. It all went as planned and I would recommend Rainbow Treecare to anyone.

This was the second treatment (every two years) my 40' ash tree has received from Rainbow. My tree has stayed healthy while other untreated trees in my neighborhood have started showing signs of infestation. The treatment did take place later than expected - but the arborist assigned to my tree was very responsive to my e-mails regarding scheduling.

It was pretty good. I would probably not use them again. I would probably try somebody else to see if the experience is better. They cut the canopy of the tree to 8 feet but there were a couple of trees that I walk out and the branches still hit my head and I'm only 5'11", so the canopy wasn't raised to 8 feet as they said they would do. They took down a tree all together but then they left the stump which they said they were going to do but they said they would get it at close to the ground as possible and it looked like they didn't try harder to get it closer to the ground because there was quite a bit of stump left.

The portion of the oak that cracked open and fell was about 14 to 16 inches in diameter. They came out the day following the day we called. They roped the section, that was forming a bridge, between two other trees and then climbed the tree and gradually cut it into sections, lifted the sections over the fence to our yard, and kept cutting sections and lowering them to the ground. The final section was at least 10 feet long and they carefully swung it and lowered it to the path around the hosta garden. If it was cut and dropped straight down, it would have landed in the garden. They then proceeded to clean and rake the areas they used to haul the wood up the hill and to the street for disposal. They were extremely professional, friendly, and considerate. We have used this company for years to protect our trees and we have never had a problem with them. I would give them a 10 star rating.
