He was very prompt and understood all that I wanted done. He was able to provide me with a quote for all the work at our initial meeting. They notified me when they were going to be onsite to perform the pruning and removals. Also updated me when it was necessary to reschedule since our weather was not cooperating. Most of the work has been completed, but I'm waiting for them to finish the entire job when they remove the stumps.

Person arrived on time. Took the tree down and removed all debris. He left the area very tidy and did not do any damage to the surrounding grass.

They did the job well. It was a fair price. I think I could have gotten it done cheaper but this was a larger company that I trusted. They had an excellent equipment. They came back in the spring and rack up the debris left after the snow. That was exceptional, I thought.

The arborist was very knowledgeable and professional. In the end, though, they felt it really needed to come down and wasn't even safe enough to put a person in. We decided to get some other quotes for the tree removal, and found that everyone else was MUCH cheaper for the removal. I think that for work that requires more than just brute force, i.e. figuring out how to maximize the growth of a tree, these guys are great. However, for tree removal they are WAY overpriced.

I received an estimate to trim two large oak trees in our yard. The scheduling of the appointment was easy, the arborist came on schedule (actually a little early, but he called to confirm that it was OK), and was very helpful and professional. I was impressed the the company but choose another one because of price.

Rainbow called me back within a couple hours of sending my e-mail and we scheduled a visit for the next morning. I've used Rainbow before and one thing I really like about them is that they assign an arborist to a specific area, so the arborist knows the neighborhood soil, surrounding trees, etc. I had worked with this arborist (Leben) before and so he was already familiar with my trees and was able to check his notes from earlier visits for what had been done to my trees. In this case Leben recommended NOT doing anything! He said that the neighbor's tree was actually supporting the cottonwood branch, and removing the supporting branch would stress the cottonwood. He spent 30 minutes examining the 2 trees and educating me about the critical issues with cottonwoods (dead limbs dropping, trunk hollowing out). In my case there was nothing critical that needed doing and Leben recommended just monitoring the tree's conditions. He also pointed out how the tree's location reduced its ability to spread roots and find water, and he gave me some watering tips for the summer. Finally, there had been other crews cutting trees in the neighborhood and Leben pointed out the good and (very) bad trimming jobs and what made them good or bad. Leben obviously loves trees! He could have told me to cut the branches and I'd never have been the wiser. Not only did he not sell me unnecessary work, he took the time to educate me about my trees. Rainbow is definitely not the cheapest tree company out there. But trees (at least my trees) are here for the long-term, and they need someone who is treating them for the future.

The guys showed up when they said they would, did what they said they would and did an exemplary job cleaning up after themselves.

Came out to my house (on time) and gave me an estimate to cut and remove three trees. Came back with a crew (at the expected day & time) and cut down and removed the trees. Charged me exactly what they estimated. Outstanding service! Extremely professional, efficient, and tidy

They set up an appointment quickly and sent an arborist to look at the trees and provide an estimate. He was very professional, listened to what we wanted to accomplish and gave a detailed explanation and estimate. He took into consideration what would be best for our older oak trees. We haven't scheduled the work yet, but felt that Rainbow Treecare would give a higher level of service than some lower priced companies. They prioritize the health of the trees in addition to customer needs.

The service was trimming the branches and adjusting the cables. In August I called to make an appointment for an estimate, which I received in a couple of weeks. At the time I called to make the appointment, they were fully booked for the season and offered to put me on a wait list. There was an opening in October and they completed the service. They thoroughly cleaned the trimmings from both my yard and my neighbor's yard.

They sent out an arborist to evaluate my trees. She was very friendly and helpful. She even came out an extra time to review the trees again and reassure me when I started questioning my decision to cut down the younger trees. So sad to cut down these trees! And she advised me about what trees to plant in replacement. The tree cutters were very efficient and careful. They piled all the wood and another truck came to pick it up. It cleared my lot of dying trees and ill-placed baby trees. They were efficient and convenient. I appreciated all the advice. Everyone was very friendly.

We contacted Rainbow Tree Care to review our apple tree, which was in serious need of trimming and pruning. We were scheduled with Sterling--who was fantastic. He expertly analyzed our apple tree and gave good information on overall apple tree care. At this visit he also reviewed and created a map of all the trees in our yard. He also recommended having another tree trimmed and we did. The actual tree trimming service was scheduled for about a week later. Both trees look great. Over the summer we certainly noticed the improvement. Most of all, they are easier to mow under! We will definitely use Rainbow Tree Care again.

Long time tree consultation and work. One problem once with a diseased Elm tree being missed, but they were responsive to my needs later, and I am hoping the end result will be fair.

We have been using Rainbow to care for our huge old birch tree for the past 6 years. Every other year they come and inject it to prevent damage from birch borers. Next spring they are going to treat our crab apple tree for apple blight. Very happy with their service.

I contacted Rainbow Tree Service to have four small trees removed including the stumps and to haul away a large pile of yard waste. They responded in a timely manner with a competitive estimate. In fact, they beat three other companies on price. The Rainbow Tree Team did a very professional job removing the trees and stumps. There was no damage to my lawn. I got exactly service and price I requested with no hassle. I will be happy to use them again someday.

You will initially need to work with their licensed arborist. After an initial examination of the problem, you will be given a recommendation. We used this company once before and felt they could handle this tree trimming. We wanted the tree trimmed, so that it did not hang over our roof. It has been a decade of trouble for us. I did not look at the recommendation's specific details, because I am not trained to understand what the detail needs to be in order for us to get the job done. In "arborist language," I expected that the tree would be trimmed as I asked. Let me say that this process was arduous, as the arborist questioned everything about what we wanted because he didn't think it would make a difference. He even went so far as telling me what I should do with my dead lawn, as if I didn't know anything about lawncare and gardening. He felt that people should live around a tree, versus impacting a tree to meet our needs. They were willing to work on only half of the tree, as my neighbor is fine with his side laying on his roof. The actual team was precise, professional and fast. Most of the debris was cleaned up, without incident. Although I initially okay'd the job, we (my husband and I)decided that there was still too much tree hanging over us. We did not want the limbs, although we were happy to compensate, so that the tree would remain healthy and happy. We did not want the leaves. It clogs our gutters year-round and has killed our lawn. The arborist returned and painfully debated the removal of two more branches with me. Essentially, he disagreed because "it was a perfectly healthy tree." 30 minutes later, he suggested that he could speak to my husband (who was also not happy with the job). I told him that my husband was busy and that my opinion should be enough. FINALLY, he relented and in an effort to get just the right cuts done...we called my husband about specifics. The arborist then took the opportunity to start from the beginning and argue with my husband. Enough said. I was offended. My husband was irrate upon learning that I had already requested it be done - no matter what. Our time was wasted and we did not get the service that we had requested. Although their representative left saying that he wanted us to be happy.... we were not impressed. We chose to live with the tree, as is, so that we didn't have to deal with them again.

The experience overall was good. The free estimate meeting was good, I learned alot about the trees that I have in my yard. I called a few days later and agreed to a no-call appointment, where the arborists complete the work when it can be fit into the schedule. The only condition being that the work needed to be done before August 1st. I gave Punctuality a B because I e-mailed on 7/29 inquiring if the serivce would be done Monday or Tuesday, the 31st. I recieved prompt response on Monday with an apology, the sales person thought the work had already been done, and on Tuesday morning two arborists came and did the work. There was little if any debris left over. They also removed a plastic grocery bag that had been stick in the tree since last fall and was just too hight up for us to get at. I gave Price a B because a number of quotes by other companies were a bit less. However, the experience during the free estimate was much better with Rainbow, so I went with this company. We now have better sunlight for the ground around the trees and no limbs hanging over our roof. And the trees look nice and clean!

Rainbow was prompt to send out a certified arborist to find out what I wanted and to provide an estimate. Sarah was great. She told me exactly what should be done and gave me tips on pruning other trees. When the crew arrive to prune, they had already taken care of parking permits with city and completed the job while I was at work. I came home to no mess, no damage and perfectly pruned tree. I will definitely use Rainbow again for any future tree pruning.

Overall, I am very pleased with Rainbow's services. Their estimate for the tree removal was very competitive, and I appreciated working with their arborist. At the date of removal, the crew came out to my house. They were prepared for the job and got it all done while I was away at work. I was impressed by their professionalism and cleanliness of my backyard after they were done. Later, another crew came out to grind up the remaining stump. I was happy with the services provided and would use Rainbow again. The only hangup during this process was waiting for services to be performed (about 4-5 weeks from original estimate). I think Rainbow is pretty busy, so schedule your work in advance.

This is the second time I have hired them. They took down the tree and had it hauled away within a half an hour of it being cut down. They're courteous. They guy who always comes to the house is so friendly and helpful. They are neat and do a good job.

I have used them for years. They give great service. They always make sure I am happy with their service.
