We discovered a snake slithering across the carpet and Scott came immediately, charged us nothing and checked the entire house for any other intruders. He gave us an estimate for all the services listed above, which are all guaranteed - I can call whenever I see too many bugs or a mouse or anything. We hired them for regular treatments and they gave us a discount for being Angie's List members and another discount for paying up front. A few weeks after the first service I saw a baby snake enter the house through a tiny opening behind an outdoor electrical plate and again, Scott came the same day to take care of it. The peace of mind is worth every penny - I hate snakes!

Extremely well. I appreciate they don't apply chemical on the main living floor, and still we got great results. It took a week (as they said it would) and we've been bug-free ever since. We signed up to have them come back several times to keep the critters under control.

They did an absolutely excellent job. I moved into a house that got occasional mice in the basement. I had another service out, but they just wanted to set traps and put out poison. I wanted to solve the problem, not just catch the mice. Last fall Rainbow came and the contractor was excellent, very knowledgeable and re-assuring. He told me he was 100% sure he could solve the problem, which is exactly what I wanted to hear. He sealed up cracks and holes (around the A/C, for example) and placed two poison bait stations outside. I have not had a single mouse since. I recommend them to everyone and will have them back immediately if I should ever have an issue again.

Went very well. Work was performed late winter (March?) 2006. Scott answered all my questions in great detail. I walked the perimeter of the house with him. He used 6 tubes of caulk and his application was very neat and clean. In larger holes and cracks he stuffed some copper mesh before caulking. One corner of the foundation had a larger hole that could not be plugged by mesh and caulk. He told me to mound dirt over the area to prevent access. Last fall, I heard mice again and got worried. I walked the perimeter and saw that the mounding had fallen away a bit, so I shoveled more dirt there. No more mice. This past winter was 100% mouse free, which was great! If I encounter problems again with any type of pest, I would call Scott in a heartbeat.

This guys are real professionals. They came to my house to inspect the foundation for areas in which mice might be entering the home. Then, because it was close to the holidays, they advised as to when it might be a good idea to perform the work to seal the house, after my house guests had departed. They arrived promptly the day of the appointment and worked diligently patching entry points around my house. They then worked with me to set traps inside of my house in key spots. They weren't like other services I've used where they just randomly toss poison packets behind appliances and into the dropped ceiling. These guys really targeted the cause of the problem. It's been over two weeks and I haven't heard any activity. I am SO relieved.

They did give a one year guarantee. So far we have been happy with their service and it seemed to work fine.

They did very well. In Minneapolis, they filled cracks in foundation and sprayed inside and out but did not sell me more than I needed. In Maple Grove, we are next to a wetlands and had seen snakes in the yard and box elder bugs in the doorways and windows, so we needed a year-round program from Rainbow.

Matt the technician was nice and explained where the mice are probably coming in. We live in such a wooded area though that he said we may also have a problem with mice. They will also be treating insects year round (4 more services).

Rainbow called the day after I contacted them and set an appointment for Friday of the same week. Between the time I called and the appt., there were no longer attic noises. The representative arrived promptly, was very accommodating, and inspected the house exterior, as well as the attic. He could find no entry point and offered to set a trap in the attic. He was going to be out of town for the weekend and gave me the choice of setting the trap right away or waiting until Monday to avoid the noise of a squirrel in the trap. I chose to wait but by Monday had still not heard more noises, so I canceled the trapping. I expected to see a bill for the inspection but was not charged anything.

They came out and treated the house for carpenter ants. Within a week all the ants were gone. Yah us!

We hired Rainbow last year to do regular extermination of ants and box elder bugs. They were just here for their fall treatment and once again did a great job. I've heard it's supposed to be a bad year for box elders bugs, but so far our yard and home are bug free!

I was satisfied with the work. The company did have to reschedule, but called in advance to let us know. They were prompt, knowledgeable and thorough. At this time, the treatment appears to be effective. They guarantee the effectiveness for 60 days.

The first person I talked to on the phone told me that they spray the outside of the house with a barrier that stops the box elder bugs from entering and setting up for the winter. I was not home when they did come to spray, but the paperwork they left me was very confusing. So I called to see what I owed and to get some questions answered. I left a message and no one returned the call. I called again a few days later. This person was confused as well but finally explained that they really don't do a special box elder bug treatment, it's just a normal bug barrier treatment. So three weeks later I have box elder bugs inside. I call, leave a message, and again no one returns the call. I call again a few days later. Now they say that I will still have a few inside. This doesn't match what I was told earlier and she seemed very reluctant to discuss it. Finally she set up a date for another treatment. I also complained about no one returning phone calls and she didn't care.

Service was excellent. Everything was explained in detail, including the expectations for successful elimination of the wasps.

Matt arrived at 9:55, within the 9:30 - 10:00 time frame they gave me. He walked around the house and established that 1) They couldn't warranty the work because there is no way to get under the deck to see the whole foundation, 2) The front porch crawl space needs to be fixed up by a carpenter - it is bigger than what they would handle, 3) Need to remove or seal up obsolete cement steps on side of house, 4) Other than that the foundation looks ok. He wished me luck, and left. He didn't charge anything, which was nice. He was there maybe 10-15 minutes. I probably wouldn't hire them again, just because it was pretty clear that they couldn't help in my situation. But I appreciated the honesty.

When we found a 2nd nest on our property within the 30 days, per their warranty, they removed it free of charge with no hassles.

Matt was very professional and knowledgeable. He provided the services I requested and identified some other potential problems. He explained the work and presented different options for services and pricing.

Fantastic! It's definitely working, and Rainbow was great. The appointment setter knew a lot, as did Scott. He was very careful about making sure the bait traps were out of reach of our dog and cat. I would use them again in a heartbeat, but I don't think I'll have to, unless we get bats.

This summer I suddenly had mice inside my house. While the cats were happy, I was not. I had a handyman take a look at my foundation but he basically dismissed my problem. I called one pest control company and while they did find and seal some holes, they admitted that they had not found the entrance and said that I'd just have to trap any that got inside. Then I found Rainbow Pest Experts mentioned on this list so I called them. They came out and found the problem. They even guarantee it for 1 year! Now I've been mouse free for 3 weeks and loving every minute of it. I had been trapping 1-2 a week. The cats may not be happy about it, but I am!

Prompt service; friendly, courteous tech. Offered to spray indoors, but I declined due to children in the house, so he set bait stations instead and went to lengths to be sure they were hidden. Sprayed exterior perimeter of house, around 2 large trees that grow near house, and even out into yard where there were 3 big ant mounds. I continued to see ants after service, but only a few. Then a few became dozens, and then it was a party. Even worse, I was seeing ants in places I hadn't previously. I called on a Thursday afternoon and didn't hear back until Tuesday. Service manager returned my call and offered to come out the next day. He looked at my receipt and said that the tech used the wrong product (it would cause the any colony to branch out and form new colonies). So the manager resprayed in the same exterior locations, and along interior basement walls. I haven't seen any ants since. I think $350 is very expensive, but I'm happy the follow up service was handled without question.
