Rainbow Pest Experts

It is a work in progress. They come out quarterly. I was not particularly happy with one of the service calls in the winter when it had snowed. I got a bill for $125 when they only sprayed outside on the snow, and did not come inside at all. I don?t know what they could have done, but I requested that they come inside in the future. The serviceman is very nice and friendly, however, and we will continue to use them for now.

Great! Problem solved. No more signs of mice anywhere.

We developed a mouse problem a number of years ago. Rainbow Pest Experts came up and discovered several places where the mice were getting in. They fixed the problem and we have been mouse free until recently. We called them again and they came up the next day. We have not had any more problems since then. Both people we have worked with have been very knowledgeable and helpful. They have been very nice about showing us where the problems were and explaining and answering all our questions.

They were highly recommended. They had a great reputation. So, we decided to call them for the job. We bought a year?s service. They were so awesome. The price was definitely worth everything that they did. We liked them because they had a lot of knowledge. We had four different types of ants that we were dealing with. They were able to identify the ants and figure out where they were coming from. They were extremely responsive. When we called them, they got back to us in an hour. They were really good about helping us address other pest problems that we had. The exterminator was able to take care of bugs that had filled our backyard. He was very thorough in explaining the details regarding the products and the precautions that had to be taken. He made sure that we understood everything. His efforts were much appreciated. We?ll hire them again in the future.

We were impressed by what James saw and shared with us, along with his willingness to 'correct' what he could on his initial visit even though he didn't know if we would become a customer. In fact that could have been a 'no charge' solve to our initial problem but we are quite sure more protection is necessary. James was not a high pressured sales person, he nicely explained what he found and gave recommendations on solutions he felt would be a remedy. We signed up for the Home Protection Plan which covers varmints and in-season insects (we had signs last summer that insect control was necessary and I'm sure that will be apparent in the coming spring/summer also).

They were awesome. They did exactly what they said they would do and they were reasonably priced. The satisfaction was very high.

They are good and I like them. They are responsive and they came out in a couple of days as soon as I called them. The person who came explained what he was doing and what the cost would be.

We got off to a rocky start because the workman was late which made me late. However, he did call to let me know his previous appointment ran later than expected. When he arrived, he was very apologetic for being tardy. I really appreciated his sincerity and professionalism. He got right to work and got the job done in a timely fashion. He went beyond what I had asked him to do which I also appreciated very much. He did a thorough job and I would highly recommend the company to others.

We called Rainbow after seeing a live mouse run through our family room and disappear into the hole for our cable wiring behind the TV. The technician arrived early (he called first to ask if that was acceptable because he had a cancellation). He spent about 15 minutes inside the house and was able to determine that we did not have an infestation but rather a single mouse that got inside. Then he inspected the entire foundation of our house and our garage to identify any entry points. When he finished, he walked me around the house to show me half a dozen potential issues. He explained how we could block the holes ourselves using silicone and demonstrated by patching one spot himself. He then offered to mark the other spots with tape for us to fix later, so he went around the outside of our house a third time. He left a fresh tube of silicone, gloves, and a mouse trap so we could take care of everything ourselves. I also asked some questions about ants we'd seen, and he was able to identify the type and tell us we could just buy some spray at Home Depot to take care of it. Best part: after spending almost an hour, there was absolutely no charge because we were new customers from Angie's List. My guess is that you would have to pay something if you had a major mouse party going on in your house and required a bigger response than we did, but we will definitely call Rainbow if we ever have an issue again. Although, knock on wood, it's been two months and we haven't seen a mouse since we blocked up all the entry points Rainbow identified.

Company was professional, and easy to work with Technician (James) was a great guy, explained very well to a laymen what he was doing and why, and I felt like we just received a valuable service. We had mice inside recently, and he sealed all foundation holes and, even found a spot under the deck with signs of chewing where they may have come in. He sealed it up well, and put out baits all over the attic/storage/garage spaces in our house. It remains to be seen if the spraying prevents Asian beetles in our house this winter, and whether we have mice back, but we have a 2 year warranty on the mice.!

Fine service. The one-time charge seemed high at first, but then when I also took into travel time I could see that it was a reasonable charge. Their warranty proved to be especially beneficial since they had to come back when the yellow jackets were killed off entirely the first time.

They did a good job. We definitely didn?t have the issue anymore. They use good quality chemicals.

I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I was told it would take 3 days for it to fully work, but by the following day I could only see a couple wasps and by the 2nd day, they were gone entirely. The tech was friendly and completed the work quickly. They were late in getting there, however, they called to let me know that and I'm happy to wait if it's because a previous job took longer than expected, because it means they do whatever needs to be done to complete the work and they'd do it for me, too.

Initial phone call to discuss the issue. Very thorough, answered all my questions. Professional and knowledgeable. I felt they were confident they could get rid of the moths. Offered an Angie's coupon for the services and even without this Rainbow was HALF the cost of many others- one of whom didn't even mention there was an Angie's coupon I could use. Schedule for the following week, tech showed up a bit late, but called to inform me. He was great. Told me everything he was doing and went over the entire job at the end... so far so good.

Rainbow Pest Expert confimed our suspicions that we had an ant colony outside our basement window. He confirmed the type of ants (pavement ants) & the location of the colony. He sprayed the ant colony & told us the ants should be dead within 10 days. The service has a 6 month guarantee. Because the colony was easy to find and treat (whole job took about 20 min), he charged us $200 instead of $300. Ants were dead in 2-3 days. No problems since. Service was prompt, courteous & pricing was fair. I would recommend them to others.

They put out little boxes with rat poison in them and everything worked out well. I didn't compare pricing but it seems fair to me for what I got.

They came out and gave me the free estimate for the extermination. They determined that the problem was bats and they do not take care of bats. They gave me the phone number for a pest control service that takes care of bats. He was very nice and he did a thorough evaluation. He was very professional while he was at my home and he spent a lot of time doing the evaluation. I would certainly have hired them had they taken care of bats.

I called on a Friday, and they scheduled a time for Saturday to come out. I asked if about "green" insecticides, but they don't do that apparently. The gentleman who came seemed to carefully contemplate his approach to getting rid of our wasp nest before spraying. He was very concientious of our safety during the process. The office said we should be able to use our compost on our plants and vegetables, but the gentleman spraying suggested not to because of where the wasp nest was and how much insecticide he would need. While disappointed that we won't be able to use this compost, we are happy that the wasps are gone.

Excellent. I had to leave for work so the technician did the inside assessment first and then completed outside after I left. I have not had ants since. I also have dog and cats and he explained the best traps and bait to use. I have not had the ants since.

We had paper-wasps coming into the bathroom and thought we had found the nest in the eaves of the house. Steve from Rainbow arrived on time (a little early actually), quickly ascertained that the nest we saw was not where the wasps currently were living but instead inside a bathroom fan vent. He got right up on the roof, treated the wasps, explained everything, and outlined the warranty, which means they'd come right back if the wasps weren't eliminated. And, so far, it looks like it worked perfectly. The price was after the Angie's List $20 off certificate.

I had an insect problem inside my home and hired Rainbow Pest Experts to come out and undertake the first session of their annual program. We agreed on a time and I took work off to make sure to be there for the exterminator. They did not show up and after 20 minutes I called. They were polite and explained they had made a mistake and I had been put on the wrong list or something. They tried to reschedule later on in the evening of the same day but as it was a Friday and I had dinner guests coming over at 7 I was unable to meet the new proposed scheduling. They were professional in trying to fix the problem but due to their mistake I will have to live with the insect problem over the weekend. Reliability and pest control go hand in hand in my opinion and Rainbow Pest Experts did not live up to my expectations.

They were outstanding from an advisory standpoint.

Their price was a bit high but fair. They came on time and answered all my questions. The quality of their work was excellent and gave me several options for the problems I had. Their customer service was excellent as well.

Their price was reasonable. They did what they said they would do in a timely manner with a warranty.
