I think they were great. They were totally upfront with us about when to treat for this specific problem. They were very informative.

They were on time, and completed an extremely detailed inspection and explanation of the services.

They had good communication and a willingness to come back if there were more bugs.

They do a good job. It's a little pricey but it's worth it. We even recommended them to my in-laws and they used them.

Since I have used them I have not had any issues with rodents or spiders. If they see anything they can fix they do. They go above and beyond my expectations. They do a great job!

They did an excellent job. They came out, diagnosed the problem, they sprayed it. It rained shortly thereafter that so they came out again and sprayed it and I have not seen it since. They did a real good job.

I contacted Rainbow PestExperts on a Monday and they were able to come out the same day! I moved into a new home and found some mouse droppings so they came and did a free inspection. I was provided with a very thorough explanation of what the recommended service was, and quoted a very reasonable price for the services. The gentleman that came was extremely professional, knowledgeable and kind. I have signed up for the service yet as I wanted to get settled into my new home first, but I will definitely be using this company when I do! Highly recommended!!

They did a really good job except they have a company policy that they can not go in spaces smaller then three feet. In that small space I had a termite entrance under there.

They were thorough. They were good, and there was nothing unusual.

I have been pleased with them. We had a couple of glitches in the scheduling. I don’t remember the price because I haven’t yet got the bill. I think their quote was about a couple of hundred dollars. They did a good job. They didn’t leave odds and ends lying around or anything. They were here and they were very professional. They explained what they could and couldn’t do. They also explained what it would take them to be able to do a better job. I have kind of a weird house and there were accessibility problems with certain areas. It’s a 1950’s house with several additions. There were issues with being able to get back things, but that wasn’t a major consideration with the people who did the additions. However, Rainbow Pest Experts were able to handle it. We had some scheduling problems in terms of them matching up. They weren’t able to get here quite as soon as I would have liked, but it’s really unreasonable to call somebody and expect them to come out in two days. I was leaving town and they were busy. So, we were back and forth. They were extremely helpful and returned all my phone calls promptly. They called me to double check on the timing and things. I was going to call them when I got back in town, but they called me first which really impressed me. Usually with service people, you are the one who has to keep initiating the contact. It was very good from what they said in terms of the way that they did the work. They explained that it would take some time to be certain of the results. They said that they will come back and take care of it if there is any activity after three weeks. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

James N met w/ husband on Thursday. Started in basement, confirmed we probably have a rat. Explained all about them, their territory, how they feed, how smart they are and options on how to get rid of them. Took into account that we have a new dog when he discussed poison and where to place it, showed husband how to set the traps to allow the rats to 'get used to them while they are unsprung' since they are so smart. Apparently you only get one attempt on a trap. Looked up in the drop ceiling to confirm what we had from rat droppings. Went to the attic, looked there. Outside house, too. Showed husband areas where animals can get in, including mice. When we agreed to hire, he filled as many as he could--we have a deck with fencing underneath so he could not access that one area, but the rest he went around with a mirror to find small possible entry areas and filled them. James also suggested we get a contractor to look into the wall where the rat is digging. Due to the age of our home and the location of the dig, it will not be possible to get at the entry from outside. We may need to have a contractor look from the inside to shore up on the wall and close off any tunnels once we have removed the furry critters. This will hopefully prevent any future entry. James also noticed we had some evidence of 1-2 dead flies in the basement and attic-- and mentioned a type of fly that lays eggs in August near the foundation. They lay dormant and then hatch in waves. Yep, sounds familiar. Rainbow can apparently come out to prevent that if we want. Nice to see he was watching for other items as he went along. On the day James was here, the city was doing street cleaning. We were not aware of that since we park in our garage in the back. He got a ticket on his big truck parked in front. Possibly two. After that, he told my husband he had to go since he couldn't get more tickets and could not fit the truck in our alley. He was afraid he would block it for other traffic. He was only partly done with the exterior work, so he said he would return on Saturday to complete the job. He did just that, and left us a tag on the door letting us know he had been by for an additional 1.5 hours! I later learned it was his day off!!!!! Wow!! Normally, I would wait a while before writing this to see if we were rid of our furry critter, but I wanted to get this info onto Angie's list due to the unusual nature of James' work on Saturday.

James was very professional. He arrived on time, listened to my issue, and performed a thorough inspection. He offered several several options, including lower-cost ideas if I had wanted to do more of the work myself. When he was finished, he explained his work thoroughly.

I have had other exterminators in previous years. The house was infested with mice when I bought it. (I didn't know that.) I live in a woodsy area and insist on feeding the birds, so the problem is recurring. Another firm had to retreat three times because the mice kept coming back. When I need an exterminator again, I'll call Rainbow.

Spent 3 hr here, cleaned and sprayed exterior and sprayed interior, solved a problem others could not take care of.Thanks.... The Best.

Rainbow's service person, James, arrived on time and asked about where we had seen mouse activity. Then proceeded outside to inspect for entry points, using a mirror to view foundation to sheathing seam. A rather large hole was found and sealed. James went as far as embedding a metal pest sceen into the silicone sealant. He explained that the sheathing is fiberboard and Rainbow could not guarantee the job for that reason. He continued inspecting, pointing out spots where mice might enter and applied sealant to those spots. He provided some traps for any mice remaining in house. Trapped two that night and have not seen any since. Overall, I was very impressed.

Had called another A rated pest control company, but they could not find any entry points (and for that reason did not charge us even after two visits, which was exceptionally professional). I tried to cancel with Rainbow because I did not think they would find anything either. Unfortunately, they did not get my message (my fault) and showed up at my home anyway. That was lucky, because they did find the entry point and sealed it. It has been over a month and no more mice. By the way, their price was less than their estimate. I highly recommend this company.

I am on a yearly plan with them, and I have a large area. I have them do a lot of things. They are excellent, and I really like them. I like how professional, reliable, effective and thorough they are. I don’t have anybody to compare their prices with. I would rate them highly and would continue to use them in the future.

We had used another pest control company for a couple of years to try get rid of a persistent mouse problem in our house, but when we encountered another mouse in the house this fall, I decided to call Rainbow, as we have always had good experiences with their lawn care and tree services. I was able to get an appointment within a week of my calling, and Scott Dorn came out yesterday, inspected all around our house, plugged the cracks and openings that the other service had missed and replugged some of them where the mice had chewed out the plugs placed by the other service. (They were found on the ground with mouse teeth prints in them.) Rather than using foam plugs as the other service had done, he used copper mesh and silicone. He also baited our attic, which the other service had never done, and set some traps in the parts of our lower level where it was obvious mice have been busy. He also inspected our neighbors' house and garage (attached to ours) and plugged the openings he found there for no extra charge to the neighbors or to us. Because ours was a rather uncomplicated job, he charged us less than half the normal rate for the service. He made sure I understood everything he found and everything he was doing and showed me all the areas he plugged and where he had found evidence of mice. He said that the mice should be gone in about 3 weeks but that we should watch out for any signs of activity and call him if we noticed anything, and he would come right back out. I learned a great deal about mice and their habits and what we can do to help prevent them from getting back into the house. I feel very hopeful that we're on the way to being mouse-free this winter, and it's great to have someone with Scott's obvious experience and knowledge working with us on on what has been a pretty intractable problem. I was very impressed with the value and the service we received and with Scott's knowledge, experience and overall professionalism.

My experience with them has been good. This is the second year I have really used them compared to minor stuff originally. If they do not kill all the bugs, they come back for free. It is a six-month warranty; that is the whole season. I would use their services again in the future.

In the two years I have owned my home we have seen 3 mice which isnt a big deal but might as well be on top of the issue. Denise came out promptly at the appointment time on a Saturday morning and immediately after seeing the foundation upon driving up the driveway already had ideas of the issue. Once inside though, she inspected the whole house for potential openings and mouse tracks/droppings, etc. She explained things to us well and we felt comfortable that she knew what she was doing. After the inspection, we agreed to have her perform the work of setting up bait traps in key locations and the she ran silicone around the outside perimeter of the house and some wire meshing (i think) in the spots where there definite holes in the foundation where mice could get in. It's been a month so far and things are good at this point. 2 year warranty so I have peace of mind as well.

Denise checked all around the house and found a couple of entry points in the garage and one in the screen porch, and plugged them. We haven't caught any more mice since then.
