I contacted Rainbow Pest Experts by phone, based on positive reviews on Angie's List. I described my problem and the woman who answered the phone described various options for treatment and costs associated with those options. A technician was dispatched to my house within a day or so of my initial call. The technician, James Nelson, arrived right on time and discussed my options for treating "paper wasps." I opted for a treatment that was warranted for 60 days and so far the wasps have not returned. The total time for the treatment was about 30 minutes. The technician also checked the exterior of my home for any signs of additional insect problems, but did not find anything else that would require treatment/advice.

we had been dealing with mice in our home during the winter months. Now in May we saw mice and this put me over the edge. So we called in Rainbow Pest Experts. They patched up areas around vents we had not even noted. Now almost one year later not even one mouse seen. Thank you. We did not give a review earlier because we needed time to see if the work they did would take care of the problem.

We originally signed up for service with Rainbow Pest Experts when we moved into our recently purchased foreclosure home in September of 2010. We had an ant problem so we signed up for their annual service. Having never purchased something like this before I was a bit hesitant based on price, but we could not be happier with the service we received.So happy, in fact, that we signed up again in 2011 and continue to use Rainbow through 2012. They completely removed our ant and boxelder bug issues and our insects have basically disappeared from the home. They are extremely friendly and will come out to our home within 2-3 days of a call if we have wasps or other bugs appearing around the house. I would recommend using Rainbow to anyone who is looking for a pest control company.

They did the job. I use them for boxelder bugs and their spray works for that. They have a two-year guarantee. They went around and used silicone sealant to seal every opening they could possibly find.

The first few times they came they explained everything they were doing. They let us know what kinds of pests we had and what they were going to do to take care of it. They are really good. I have been pleased with their service. One thing I appreciated is that my questions were answered very thorough. His tips were very helpful in keeping mice or rodents away.

Very responsive to our needs. He let us know we had a rat, rather than mice, and provided us a plan.

This is the second time I have had Rainbow Pests come out to deal with wasps (and I should have done the positive review for last year, too, sorry about that!) I called to have them come out last August when I had noticed wasps several times and finally realized they were nesting in the peak of our roof above our front door! James came and addressed it quickly and promptly, and then checked carefully around the rest of the house and noticed a couple of other places I had not seen. So this year, when I noticed the very first wasp, I immediately called Rainbow Pests again since they had been so thorough about it last year. I called on a Thursday and they were able to come out the next day, a Friday. Once again, James came out, took care of the front peak (they really like that spot), and then carefully checked and found another place I had not found. When I mentioned I had seen them on my front porch, he also checked there as well. He had some good suggestions about caulking the front porch. He also advised me to leave the nests for now since it was so early in the season that they were just starting to nest, and so any wasps coming to the existing nest now would also be subject to (and hopefully eliminated by) the treatment. Their treatment is good for 30 days, so I'll keep an eye out in case I need them again. But I was really glad to have them come out so quickly, and to have James do it again since he was familiar with, and remembered my house.

Very well. Very knowledgeable staff - answered all of my questions and knew what they were looking for and how to explain what they found. Impressed by how quickly they were able to come back out to do external repair work after the initial inspection. No noticeable mouse activity within a couple of days after repair and remediation!

I used Rainbow last year. Usually pest control providers just come and spray. Rainbow actually told me how to SOLVE the problem. I really appreciated that, but they worked themselves out of a job. They were SO fair. I would use them again.

I like that they have an entimologist on their staff, that's a lot. They treat interior and exterior problems. I thought they were very prompt, they did what they said they would do and I would use them agian.

They are super nice, super great to work with....BUT...their prices are a little extreme. I'm used to paying $80-100 per visit in Wisconsin and they are twice that amount. Plus, they really want you to sign up for their yearly service where they spray 4 times a year or so. That's great and I would like to do that, but come on, the price is just too much. And since they sprayed a few weeks ago, I'm still seeing spiders. But the tech was very professional and removed his shoes every time he came in/out of the house. He spent about 15-20 min spraying both the inside and outside of house.

She came right on time, took time to look over the problem, analyzed it and gave me the information I needed and explained what the problem was, that it was not carpenter ants. Didn't try to sell me a service I didn't need.

They are very good. Their service is excellent. The service guys are really nice, and he calls me when he is doing if I want to know, and if I don’t want to know he leaves me alone. I have really not compared their price, and they were my tree service guys and I automatically went to them for my pest control services, and I really don’t know how much pest control costs, and we no longer have any bugs in our house. If there is a spider in my house they come right back. They call me the night before and they tell me when they are coming and they show up. Their professionalism is really great.

They did some work on one of my trees and I was happy with that, so I asked if they did other work and they gave me a bunch of brochures. They were wonderful. They cared and listened. They are a very good company to work with. I would use them again, without question. I thought it was expensive. They were punctual, responsive, and professional.

They are on time and competent. They are good with pets. I would recommend them to others.

They used non toxic chemicals. They were prompt and offered good customer service. They were good.

They are pricey. However, they are thorough.

James showed up early (after calling to let me know he was available and by mutual agreement) and was extremely easy to work with. He did his job quickly but thoroughly and answered all of my annoying questions with total professionalism and patience. I was concerned about my four year old and I still being in the house and that my 2 year old would be home soon. James explained what he was going to do and where and the precautions I should take. Everything was reasonable and explained in terms easy for me to understand so I felt comfortable having my children in the house. I was very pleased with their honestly, promptness and level of detail in the informaiton and work they provided. I would highly recommend them and will not hesitate to call them in the future if needed.

He is very very efficient. He was very good. I heard he was a bit expensive but he continues to come throughout the year with no trouble at all. I was quite pleased with him. He knows his job very very well.

They are excellent. They are also very knowledgeable. I would recommend them.

I called, they came out right away and gave an estimate. I said go, they took care of it. They were fast, efficient and effective! They followed up several times to make sure all was well. Great company to work with!

Ben literally crawled around our entire foundation looking for access points and carefully sealed them all. He needed a little creativity in the garage but had the materials necessary to seal that areas as well. He was right on time and I would say stayed a couple of hours. He estimated we had about a half dozen mice in the house. The traps caught 4 and the cat caught one and we haven't seen a mouse in 5 months so I can't comment on the follow-up process because we haven't needed it. I really liked Ben's willingness to answer my questions and share his knowledge about mouse behavior.. I would definitely recommend this service.

They were very efficient and thorough. They came out and took care of our pest issues. We had a complication with mice in our foundation. They came out and did a very good job, under the circumstances. The price was very good as well. I will continue to use them in the future.
