Rainbow Pest Experts

We had been hearing scratching noises in our upstairs wall for a few weeks. I called Rainbow Pest Experts based on the reviews on Angie's List. The person on the phone was very nice and explained to me the different kinds of invaders I was likely dealing with and explained what levels of service they offered and what they would do and not do on their initial visit. Steve, the person who came out, was exactly on time. He was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He walked through the house with me looking for any evidence of mice (he found none). He then went up on the roof and carefully inspected for signs of squirrels getting in (again, none). He concluded that we likely had a bat (or two) living in our wall. We walked around the entire house and Steve identified areas in the foundation where he thought we should patch holes to prevent any kind of infestation. At no point did I feel pressured to purchase any of their services. In fact, I felt as though he was trying to save me money by showing me how to patch the foundation myself. Steve spent a lot of time explaining how bats get into people's homes, their living habits and how they hibernate in the winter. Again, he seemed very knowledgeable about his craft. In the end, we learned that a bat or two isn't really something to worry about, especially with a house as old as ours is. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend Rainbow Pest Experts to anyone. Should we ever again need an exterminator, they will be my first call.

The pest control service was promptly done and the yellow jacket nest was treated. The technician explained the treatment to me and how long I should allow for results. He said it could take up to two weeks and I should not seal the crevice until two weeks has passed since the treatment. I noted yellow jackets still coming out of the crevice shortly after treatment but by the next morning there was no more yellow jacket activity. The treatment seemed to work immediately and I have seen no more activity in that area. I would use this pest control service again and I was very satisfied with the treatment.

Technician showed me around the house and pointed out a couple of entry points and what to tell the homeowners association to do to correct or they could also fix. He treated all problems. Very professional and great communicator. We have used Rainbow before and highly recommend company.

I have had mice for a few years now and recently discovered a pile of saw dust from carpenter ants so time to call in pest control! Justin was prompt, thorough, very knowledgeable about pest behavior and answered all my questions. And the ants and mice are gone!

We have gone through just about everybody and they are about the best.

Justin came to my house and walked through my yard and determined which tunnels were being used and which ones were old. He then baited the used tunnels. The next week Justin came and walked all the tunnels again and determined which of the tunnels were still active and baited those and a couple new ones. Justin returned the next week and again walked the tunnels and dsetermined almost all the tunnels were old. There were still a few active tunnels and he baited them. It is now a week later and I have not found any new or active tunnels. Justin was great to work with and knew what he was doing. Thanks Don

Service tech was on time, polite and professional. Ran out of materials so could not finish the job, had to schedule another visit, was very accommodating about coming back after i finished work if that was better for me.

We had bugs in the house and birds in our attic. The people they sent out were pleasant and professional. . They did do a good job. There were a lot less spiders and things in my house when they were doing the work. I had a vegetable garden and I would find granulated pesticide in my garden. They said it was safe to use around edible plants. hem to stop using it in my garden They do a good job taking care of the pests.

I have used Rainbow Pest removal services in the past and called them in early July because we were noticing lots of wasps outside our home. The phone rep was courteous and scheduled a visit within a few day of my call. Steve, the Rainbow tech who visited our house, was prompt, knowledgeable and very helpful. He assured me that he would return to our home if the initial treatment did not eliminate all of the wasps. Because the underground wasp nest in our front yard was very deep and difficult to reach, Steve returned 2 additional times to use different methods to eliminate that large nest. He was great to work with and I really appreciated his help and advice. The phone reps were always very accommodating too. I will definitely use Rainbow Pest service in the future, if I have any additional pest/insect problems.

They were punctual. They seemed to know their stuff. I think that they are a bit more expensive, but as far as I understand, they are good. It is a little hard to say, because extermination is a grey area, and we still had mice after their first visit. The mice are gone now. They have a two-year, two-visit limit which might be a little too strict. I would maybe prefer three visits since we have already used up one because the first one didn’t work. I haven’t tried to negotiate with them on that, and they might be flexible. Hopefully, they did their job, and the mice are gone.

We noticed a number of ants on two of our window frames. We called Rainbow Pests Experts after reviewing Angie's List. The service was prompt and professional. Our technician, Dave, was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He explained what he was doing and why which was very helpful.

They are wonderful. They have great customer service. Whenever we need them to come out in between their regular maintenance schedule, they come right out the next day to take care of the problem.

Not only did his initial treatment not work, but my second treatment was completely ineffective as well. The specialist also seemed very strange and/or awkward - almost as if he wasn't sure what he was doing sometimes. The cost was a whopping $200. Yes, $200 to place fake worms in the ground for 20 minutes. Thankfully I at least had a 10% off coupon, but that is still an atrocious price for the work involved. I recently spent $15 on a trap from an online retailer that definitely cannot perform any worse.

Very professional, on time and courteous. Extremely knowledgeable and patient when explaining how mice enter the home and how best to try to control this within a townhouse. Willingly acknowledged that even if I fixed the problem on my side, if the other side did not - the problem would continue. Unbelievably wonderful experience with this company! Would absolutely use them in the future.

David showed up on time and was very friendly. He asked questions about what I was seeing and was knowledgeable on all types of pests. He fully explained the process, what the expected results would be, and how long it could take to see the change.

They are probably one of premier company’s in that area. I like them a lot. They are very professional and very knowledgeable in pretty much everything they do. The price was fair. They also have six month guarantee which be enough all the way through summer and fall. If I see any carpenter ants, I call them and they will come back and retreat. In term of responsiveness they came out quickly. They actually do the spraying when I am not there and it’s fine.

This is the third year rainbow pest expert has treated my house for carpenter ants! each year, i have found found one ant inside my house after the treatment. However, it takes about about three weeks for the ant colony to die after treatment.

Rainbow Pest is all about service. The account rep assigned to me did a fabulous job sealing the house and spraying for insects. He worked hard, and the quality of his work was superb. I highly recommend Rainbow Pest.

They came out on a weekend and did a terrific job. They were efficient and took care of everything, even on a holiday weekend. They responded to the emergency really quickly and the price was great. My wife felt comfortable with them around. When I got home from my trip it was all taken care of!
