Rainbow Pest Experts

Description of Work: I want to commend Angie's List for recommending Rainbow Pest Experts, Inc. to help with two huge issues at my home, recently. They left no stone unturned to try and determine the source of a problem with hump back flies, that after a month of trying to find where they were breeding - in the thousands, finally resolved the problem. Also, they discovered the entry point for mice outside my home, that other companies had missed. I am commending that thorough, professional group as the best I have ever used, and thank Angie's List for suggesting them, among others, after a long and difficult month of critters and creatures I was dealing with.

Description of Work: Sealed outside holes that mice were entering and bated mice already in the house. Spent 3 hours working on it.

Description of Work: We were having a big problem with mice in our old St. Paul home. Rainbow came, sealed up the holes on the outside of the house where the mice were entering, and walked me through the entire house inside pointing out problem areas that I hadn't even thought of -- such as our furnace room, where he discovered a major entry point. Then he laid snap traps and bait traps all over. I haven't seen a mouse since. Excellent service, knowledgeable people.

Description of Work: Earlier in the month I asked Rainbow Pest to come out for an assessment/estimate of our pest abatement/control needs regarding a new home we purchased. The technician (James) was very thorough in his approach and outlined very clearly what he had observed and made recommendations for servicing accordingly. He went through the house, crawl spaces, attic access, exterior/interior areas very thoroughly and I thought he did a great job assessing our needs. James provided 2 options - including an annual plan for servicing the house. There was no pressure applied and he answered my questions. I spent a couple weeks considering the proposal and also checked with the pest control company that had previously serviced the residence we purchased. What caused me to choose Rainbow over the previous homeowner's provider was the approach Rainbow used which included a thorough plan for addressing entry points for rodents, sealing access areas, etc.

Description of Work: I*ve used them in the past for carpenter ants. They checked the basement exposure and cemented a couple of spots, also checked the inside of the house for mice, etc. , reset a couple of traps. They will be coming out twice a year to perform this service. I*m very satisfied with their work and would recommend to others. See above comments

Description of Work: I found a dead mouse in my laundry room so I laid out those granular poison bait triangles. Nothing happened with these and I checked them daily. One day both bait stations were empty I bought two more and found these granular pieces all over downstairs. I called for help. Rainbow Pest Experts were on Angie's List and had good reviews! The person who came out was on time and answered all of my questions. He said they will be back in April to check the outside of my house again. I felt reassured that the mice are no longer getting into the house. I did purchase their two year contract because I don't want to deal with mice again. I would use them again without a doubt.

Description of Work: They didn't actually do the work. We had a squirrel stuck in our chimney. The isn't the kind of work they normally do, but they called back and kindly gave us the number of a different company to use.
