Rainbow had a lawn expert (John) come to my house and meet with me and walk the yard to discuss the plan and options that could be done. We are planning a wedding for August and wanted to make sure the yard was perfect. It was raining when he came to walk the yard and I grabbed an umbrella and he still looked over the entire yard in detail and said he knew how important it was to make it perfect so he didn't want to miss anything. John took our plan and told it to the techs that come to spray the lawn. Everyone was on board with the plan to kill weeds and then do some overseeding. When the tech came out the second time I was able to speak with him and he was just as impressed as I was. After the first treatment all of the weeds were gone and the yard was well on the way to looking perfect. We have only minimal seeding to do because the grass started looking healthier without all the weeds mixed in. Couldn't be happier!

They call us to let us know when they'll be out and amp; are willing to reschedule if necessary. I'm very pleased with their service. They're neat and amp; effective.

I've contracted with them for the past six or seven years. They are very professional, they are on time, and they let me know when they are coming so that I can shut my windows because they spray my trees for apple scab. They also do the elm bore thing for the critters that eat the elm trees. I have not had an issue with them and I have been very pleased with them. I rate them highly. I will absolutely continue to use him in the future.

Called on short notice and they were great. Found them on Angie's List.

Overall, didn't go so hot. 1) Should've known we were in for a rocky ride when the guys who showed up to treat our front yard completely ignored the work order and started treating our backyard. 2) Fast-forward one month, and we're not seeing anything... except for crab grass, which with all the trouble this patch of grass has given us over the years, we've never seen before. The original Rainbow specialist who sold us on what they could do, well, he's already left the company by this point, so when the crab grass situation is brought to his replacement's attention, the only answer he has is, and quot;It's been a bad year for that.and quot; No remedy is offered. 3) After six weeks of what we considered to be spotty and inept execution of their plan -- misunderstood work orders, not showing up as agreed upon, results not anything close to what was promised -- we informed Rainbow that we no longer wanted to do business with them. Which was met with... no response. No and quot;Let us try again,and quot; no and quot;We're sorry,and quot; no and quot;What could we do differently?and quot; 4) Over the next few months, we received bills from Rainbow for work that was never performed -- because we had fired them. When brought to their business office's attention, our concerns were initially met with confusion, but eventually we were told -- without apologies -- that it would be taken care of. Several times. Because, of course, we kept receiving bills, at which point, we kept calling in to ask that they stop billing us. This went on sporadically for the next seven months. 5) In the end, we ended up with a yard that looked decidedly worse than when we started out with Rainbow Lawncare, and we were left with the distinct impression that there was a serious disconnect between their field technicians and their business office. We were truly disappointed, and wish we had never hired them in the first place.

They came out within a day or two when I first called. Looked at my lawn and let me know what the options were. They call a day or two before they're coming out so you know when they'll be treating the lawn. Leave details of what they used in what amounts and any instructions (stay off lawn for an hour, wait to water, etc.) I've only had one treatment so hard to really comment at this point. Did seem to kill several of the weeds I've got. They seem very professional so far. Will update this time next year after I've gone through a whole season with them.

So far it is good. It should take root and by next summer it should be good. They should be coming back to trim some trees as well and gave me a minimum charge estimate for that but I have not heard back when they are getting scheduled. There was nothing major. There were some dead limbs from the last windstorm we had over late summer and that needed to be taken down. The guy who came out and spoke to me was a nice guy and pleasant to deal with. Once they take their time but then they are there when they say they are there. It is difficult for them to pin down a time since they are busy this time of the year. I would use this company in the future.

Rainbow is always professional and helpful.

They do two treatments for apple scab, and I think it is about $250 per treatment. I have used their services in the past too, and I have been really happy with their service. They do a good job, but they are a little bit high-priced. I would use them again in the future.

we called them because the weeds in our yard were getting totally out of control. They came for an assessment and provided a recommended treatment schedule and a good explanation of what they thought needed to be done. They have now treated twice and the weeds already are mostly gone. We are really happy with the results and think the price is very reasonable. We will continue to use them.

The quote was for about $500. They haven't done any work yet, but we have contracted to have them do work later this year. Their knowledge of the type of trees that we had them check out was very impressive. It is a 100+ year old oak and they were very knowledgeable about the tree and the environment that it was in.

I am pleased with the service. The lawn is looking better. They make some good recommendations like I had my lawn aerated and it really helped. The customer service is good and they have always been responsive.

We had a really good experience and they gave us good service for the value. It was a reasonable cost. They did exactly what they said they would do. They did a really good job and we were very, very pleased. They were professional and knowledgeable.

We were having trouble with our lawn because another company was cutting it too low. They clearly knew what they were doing in terms of keeping the lawn healthy. One of the things they recommended was aerating it but when they went to do it they discovered the sprinklers had been installed incorrectly. They popped one of the sprinklers which they were good about fixing. In the end, they told us what to do and what to tell other companies because this wasn’t really what they did. They showed us where we needed mulch and they recommended companies to buy mulch from. We were really pleased with what we ended up doing based on their recommendations. They came out to do an estimate and while they were here they gave us the advice so they didn’t charge us for the visit. Their prices were reasonable and they were well within the ballpark of all of the places we were looking at.

Fine. We've used Rainbow for our tree care for several years and occasionally for pest conrol. We started using them for lawn care last summer. We like them because, although I think they cost a little bit more, they don't try to push unnecessary treatments on us and are very knowledgeable in the care and biology of the plants they are working with.

They were very thorough. Most lawn services only do one pass. They explain everything. They are excellent. I am going to have them come out again.

When they have applied something to the lawn, they put signs up that indicate whatever they need to do. They also leave a note on the door if they want people to be off the lawn. They do a nice job. They leave messages on the next job they are planning to do. There is a small issue, since we live in the city there are sidewalks and my lawn is divided by one. They kind of struggle to get that piece of lawn treated, I constantly have to remind them to take care of the other lot as well.

They're always rather punctually. I like that they offer organic products for lawn care. The yard looks great!

We also wanted to have the lawn aerated and we were going to do over seeding ourselves, but by the time they could fit us into the schedule, we thought it was too late to do the seeding. So we skipped the aeration, which was disappointing.

Their service is excellent. I have used them for 5 years.

They were more environmental friendly but yet they still kill the weeds. I liked there idea of getting your lawn healthy and not just treating it with chemicals.

Very professional, came out within a few days of my call, gave us a reasonable estimate at the end of his visit. We went with a company that had a slightly lower quote and is more focused on using fewer chemicals.

They are very knowledgeable about diseases that affect your landscape, and they have great suggestions. I trust them over many others. Their staff are all well educated, which is very nice.

THE SEED WAS NEVER DONE. WE PAID IN ADVANCE AND IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN DONE. THE LAWN LOOKS WORSE THAN WHEN THEY STARTED.
