We did a lot of homework before choosing Mark Johnson from Niwa to develop a master landscape plan for our home. They demonstrated deep knowledge and creativity.., and most importantly vision! Our plans turned out amazing! All of the features and elements we requested were incorporated, and additionally, Mark suggested adding several unique design features that we absolutely love! We were provided with plans, elevations, planting schedules and an overall budget. Because our project was large (covering 1/3 acre) and elaborate (water features, statues, etc), Mark provided guidance about how to execute the work in phases over time to spread the investment out over time.The first phase, our front yard, was completed summer 2010 on time and on budget. Niwa’s hard-working crew knew their stuff, arrived on-time and kept everything neat and organized throughout the project. The precision and quality in their workmanship is evident. Our front yard looks amazing, and we can’t wait to work with them again on the next phase!

Mark and his team did a remarkable job redesigning and replacing our 30-year-old, crumbling retaining wall and the driveway/car port, plus saving our cherished tree and other vegetation that we were told by other contractors could not be saved. The work was done within the time estimated, in budget, and above our quality expectations!
