NEW CONCEPT CONTRACTORS

This company was invited to a homeowners association meeting to answer questions from homeowners regarding reroofing all of the homes in the association. It was late fall and most homeowners had concerns about applying new roofs in colder weather. We were assured by the company spokesperson that as long as the shingles were put down in weather 40 degrees and above and only on sunny days that there would be no problems with the shingles sealing. The company was hired and they immediately began work on our homes. Within the first few days they were tearing off roofs when the high temps were only in the 30's and on cloudy days. They re-roofed on rainy days and days that there was snow. I contacted the technical department of the shingle manufacturer and learned that in this type of weather an adhesive should have been used to apply the shingles and if it was not, the manufacturing warranty was void. When I spoke to the foreman on the job and told him this he wouldn't address it, got angry and said he would have someone from the company get in touch with me. I never heard from anyone. They didn't follow protocol when notifying us of the day our home would be roofed and subsequently we could not get our cars out of the garage because they blocked the driveway with their waste containers. I cannot speak for the quality of this company's work as time will tell but I can say that as for the integrity of the company they have little. I was personally insulted and lied to and would NOT recommend New Concept Contractors to anyone.
