Piano tuning and analysis of humidifier needs excellent. However, Brian said he had to talk to the owner and someone would get back to me about humidifier repair/replacement costs. No one did, so I had to call the office two weeks later. The woman who answered apologized and took responsibility for not calling back. She said the technician and owner suggested not repairing the unit, as it was old and was a collection of different parts, but rather replacing it. Brian said the humidifier had not been working for while and the piano was in good shape, so, as I keep my house humidity fairly constant throughout the year, I have decided to buy a hygrometer and monitor the humidity rather than spending the additional $400 for a new unit at this time.

He was good. He wasn't here long, because he had been here a year ago, so he didn't take long. He always does a good job, and takes his shoes off when he comes, he doesn't waste time, and I feel like he can trust me about what he says about the piano.

We've been using other tuners for the past several years. Were dissatisfied, especially with the last work done in 2012. Called Laursen after finding them reviewed here on Angie's List. The young man from Laursen's was great. Punctual, polite, professional. Did an excellent job, and fixed the keys which had been left out-of-tune by the other technician the year before. Will be calling Laursen again at the end of the summer. Would recommend them highly. Have booked Simon (the technician) to return this month for annual tuning (8/2014).

The two men from Laursen did a great job. They were on time, and worked quickly and professionally. They easily moved my piano out of my old house and into their truck. My new house had more steps and twists and turns, but that didn't stop them for a moment.

Never heard anything from Laursen people

I recently inherited a piano and it needed tuning. The tech came out was very pleasant and helpful. The scheduler was polite and cooperative. I will be using them in the future.
