LAURSEN PIANO SERVICE

My piano had been through several moves and was badly out of tune. The serviceman took his time to do his best. Since it was so badly out of tune, he couldn't bring it to true tune on a first visit and said he'd like to come back. I ended up moving again before doing this, but I have to say that he got it close enough for me to play again. Quite a bit of time has passed since I had the service, so forgive me if I don't have the date or cost right. I don't remember the details. But it was a fair price and great work.

Steve is punctual and extremely knowledgeable. The piano sounds great and he is able to give me feedback about how the environment is impacting the piano (humidity level in my home, temperature, etc.). I've been using Laursen for the past 4 years and would recommend them to anyone. They give me a reminder call when I'm due for service and they have always been able to accommodate my schedule. I am given a one-hour window for when Steve will arrive, and I can depend on him to arrive when expected. The appointment typically lasts about 30-40 minutes.

Simon did a great job in tuning a piano that hadn't been tuned in several years. He called to let me know he was on his way and when to expect him. Once he arrived it only took about 30 minutes to tune and the piano sounded great. I would highly recommend Simon and Laursen Piano Service.

Always responsive, punctual, and reasonable, Laursen is a fantastic piano service. Steve can come out with fairly short notice and is extremely knowledgeable about the effects of our Minnesota weather on the piano's sound. (He's also very friendly and great with dogs.) :) I would highly recommend Laursen to tune your piano . . . in fact, it's time for us to make an appointment!

Steve arrived on-time within the window we were provided, performed the tuning efficiently, and was on his way. Laursen has been tuning our piano for many years and he does a great job! I love that they call annually to remind me to set up an appointment.

Simon was right on time. He took one hour as described and explained the work well when finished. Very good performance and would hie again!

They were punctual, informative and competitive pricing. They were polite, thorough and clean. I would recommend them. They were fantastic. They were respectful of laying down carpets; they move it in any path or direction. They were on time and they are a little bit early and even called me to notify me of that asking if it was okay. They were respectful and courteous both in the office and onsite.

No issues. Piano plays like new. Pretty expensive, but the going rate for the cities from what I can ascertain.

I didn't end up being able to complete the piano move. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I will ABSOLUTELY hire them when I do move the piano!

Zach was right on time. Very professional. Got right to work. Friendly. Highly recommended But I still can't play the piano :o)

The piano had not been tuned for several years. The technician brought it to A=440, made some necessary adjustments, and we're pleased with how well this instrument has kept its tuning. A solid job and a very pleasant man.

My wife was happy with the service that was provided. The gentleman explained the process and also told her a little bit about the actual model of the piano itself. Overall, we will use the service again when the time arises.

They are great and very through. He is good about answering questions and explaining things.

They had a conflict with the original scheduled time due to a prior clIent running over time, but they handled it amazingly - the tuner decided to rough-tune the piano in the time he had left, then return (at no extra charge!) to fine-tune it in a few days. Considering how out of tune the piano was, this was much more effective anyways!

They were excellent every step of the way. Called the piano owner. Called my tenant. Called me. Showed up on time. Was polite to both tenant and piano owner. They reminded me to tune the piano after around a month. The tuning person was very nice and explained the tuning process thoroughly. The piano sounds great in it's "new home".

Prompt, easy to schedule. On time. Tuning took 1 hour. Evaluated the action and provided a price for adjustment. Will certainly use again.
