Flawless. Ron (owner) clearly knows his craft. He gave a clear presentation & description of his design, addressing possible issues that other contractors failed to mention. The project proceeded exactly as they told us it would. The work crew showed up daily and worked hard all day. They were friendly and courteous, leaving the site as neat as possible when they left, even re-connecting the underground dog fence. Ron and the foreman were out at least once a week checking on the progress and checking in with us. The few minor issues that arose were addressed before we could even ask about them and and quality of their work is outstanding. We couldn't be happier with the results.

Overall I think they were very professional and everything else. Because they didn't work for me I don't know. They look like they were more professional group that came out and the next best that I found was other service provider. They responded very quickly. I would consider them in the future.

Ron, Dawn and the whole team at L&R did a great job. They are both easy to work with and very professional. I already have next year's project for them in mind.

They haven't started yet, but so far we are very pleased working with Lyle, Fabian and Layla in the office. They are awesome! We worked with a different landscaper last year who did OK work. Now we've hired Lyle and his crew and are so excited to be working with them. I can't wait to see everything. Though they haven't started yet, I would recommend them to anyone right now!

Lyle was extremely helpful and professional in working with me to confirm exactly what I wanted when we initially met to get a bid. After a two week delay due to adverse weather, Lyle showed up with Fabian, his foreman. and we reviewed the scope of work one last time. The project took a full two days using Fabian and two co-workers. The crew was quiet, professional, flexible, and friendly. They even were able to work around six large hosta plants when installing new dirt, fabric liner, and 2.5 inch trap rock along north facing portion of house. Additionally, pavers were installed as edging. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the final work product. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone having a landscaping project they wanted done professionally and efficiently. Kudos to Lyle and Fabian and his crew,

The project ran from mid-May to September as the Association made frequent changes to the project scope. In every situation, the company communicated effectively, delivered on time with the only exceptions being weather delays. The dailyl workers were professional, courteous and hard-working in sometimes, grueling conditions. The homeowners had no complaints with the work performed and spoke highly of the company. Their pricing was a little higher compared to other contractors, but most know the adage is true, "you get what you pay for." Would use this company again in a heart beat and have refered them to other's as well

They were ok and did everything that they said they were going to do. I'm not sure I would use them again.

The work was done well, and on time. Starting with the estimate process, I received a detailed statement of work and and estimate that later proved to be accurate as the work was done on budget. Two men performed the majority of the work, while a third general manager showed up near the end to inspect what had been done. Most of the work was done correctly, but there were a few small items that needed correction, which the team performed, despite requiring more time than they had anticipated. This was done without additional cost to me, and in the end I was satisfied with the work that was delivered. The identification and remediation of the small issues was performed solely by the team without my guidance. In other words, they didn't wait for me to identify the problems, and instead caught and corrected it on their own. The only critical feedback that I have is that I found the communication to be a bit difficult. I worked through email with the central office, who would then relays questions to the general manager that was leading the team. Since the general manager wasn't tasked for my job until the end of the work, getting answers about timelines was just a little more difficult than I would have liked. In the end, it was effective, but I had a hard time determining when to be on-site (this is a rental property).

They did a great job and I'm having them come back in the spring to finish up the things I could not fit into the fall project. I would recommend this company for all landscaping work. Great job!

Showed up on time...the design person was very helpful came back to check on the crew and made sure the work was done to the original quote even was willing to add a couple of suggestions.

Went fine, price seemed slightly high to me but I don't do this kind of work often, it may be the going rate. Other estimates for similar work were higher, one lower. Excellent work, very clean, got it done quickly once weather and schedule allowed. I had no concerns with the timing of the job. Communication was fine, some lags, but nothing that was extensive. One time I needed to ping them twice over a week to get a response. No biggee. I consider a B rating to be a fine rating, and A to be truly superior, so don't look to hard at those B's.

Everything went well; the workers were very professional and did an excellent job. There was one problem that occurred with the timbers on the walkway not being secure in the ground. I contacted L&R and the problem was fixed in a timely manner.

L&R did a fantastic job both during the design phase and the execution phase. They estimated 2 weeks for the project and it was done in 2 weeks. Potential delays would have been due to weather, i.e. heavy rain would have delayed, but fortunately this did not happen. We are repeat customers because they are very experienced, knowledgeable, creative, flexible, and professional. We've been burned by other builders in the past so are very careful who we choose to work with. L&R exhibits the highest level of integrity and truly enjoys making their customers feel happy and excited about the project. They really care that you get the results you are looking for. Their estimates are very clearly itemized and easy to understand. They provide a complete landscape design plan for you to review and are happy to go over it as many times as needed to get everything right. They are very patient and never try to rush you through anything, so that you can proceed with eyes wide open. Their workers are also very professional and respectful of the neighborhood during the execution. They clean up at the end of each work day so that you aren't left looking at a mess until everything is finished. Our neighbors even noticed how respectful they are. Some of them are now working with L&R on their own projects.

It went very well. They are very thorough with their work. They communicate very well and answer all my questions. They clean up very well after the project is complete. When I had a question while they were doing the work, the supervisor came out to my home and addressed the issue personally.

Left voicemail for a small job and they never called me back.

Overall, we were very happy with the work. We found L&R easy to work with, went over everything in detail prior to the work, and the workers always cleaned up after themselves. We are excited to see how the new plants fill the space. I gave them a B on professionalism as we were a little disappointed that we did not get any project follow up. After the work was done, we were invoiced and asked if we had any questions. That was it. I think I'm a little old-fashioned and expect some follow up - thank us for the work, maybe step us through what was done, go over any maintenance needed. All of that goes a long way to customer satisfaction. We would definitely consider using L&R again but I will probable get other bids.

They are fantastic. I have used them in the past and will use them in the future.

The recommendation was more than we wanted to do. They found that we were really doing the job correctly that we were trying to accomplish. They were very efficient and they knew their business. They really didn't come out the second time. They responded quickly. They came out very quick.

L & R was great to work with! We were having the front steps and yard torn up and re-done right before Halloween and we were concerned that this would be a problem for kids in the neighborhood. L & R promised to have the steps done by Halloween and they not only had that done but the driveway was also set in time for Halloween. We had an awesome crew that did FINE work and were so kind and courteous. They also made sure at the end of the day all was picked up. When it was garbage and recycling pickup day, they even brought up the containers from the street at the end of their work day!! Our project ran right up to the sudden cold/snow and L & R has promised to come back in the spring and make sure the sprinkler heads are all running appropriately, etc. All staff were easy to work with and very responsive to questions or concerns. We would highly recommend L & R.

I interviewed several companies for our project. L&R was very responsive every step of the way - from the initial consult, the bidding, the design, the actual construction and then the follow-up on several small issues that needed to be corrected. Every person at L&R was great to work with. I would definitely hire them again.

They started on time & finished a bit earlier than expected. The only problem was that last October we hard an eary hard freeze and the sod did not take so this spring they resodded and set us up with a sprinkler system on a timer. They came once a week to monitor the sprinkler & moving them as needed. The sod did take and looks good.

Workers very professional and kept me informed of what they intended to do from start to finish.

It went very well. They did the job fairly quickly. And I have already gotten numerous comments from my neighbors on how good it looks. It would have been nice if they removed all the tags from there plantings and also gave me care instructions right away. But those are minor complaints. The idea of the redo is to limit the amount of time I need to spend to maintain it. But initially I need to water everything. It takes me two hours to go go around watering all the new plants. I don't have that kind of time daily.

My experience with L&R was excellent. The spring rains left me with rain in my basement. I was very concerned about the situation but didn't know where to start. I live at the bottom of a hill and need a comprehensive solution. I spoke to at least 10 different basement waterproofing people and landscapers and arrived at the conclusion that my exterior drainage and landscaping could prevent the issue. However, very few of these people offered anything other than expensive short-term fixes. ' Ron at L&R was the only person I spoke with who understood the existing system I had in place and could articulate the reasons it was no longer working and could provide a comprehensive solution to the problem. His knowledge and experience, when compared to all the other people I spoke to, was really obvious. After discussing the problem and solution with him during a free consultation, I received his estimate and decided to work with L&R. Their pricing was competitive but Ron's know-how was the reason I went with them. The experience with L&R couldn't have been better. The work was started on time and completed on time. The total job only took two days. As I stated above, Ron was a pleasure to deal with prior to the job but also during the job. He was available to answer my questions and took the time to ask me about anything we may have not discussed previously like whether to keep a tree or move a flower. This attention to detail and customer service was tremendous. The crew was courteous and professional. They were friendly and took the time to clean up the work space and the whole general area each day. The office staff were friendly and excelled in communication. I even had some questions after the project was completed and Ron was on the phone with me quickly and addressing all of my concerns in an extremely fast manner. Overall, the completed project looks great and I feel so much better about my drainage situation. I'm very happy with the service and value provided by L&R and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I highly recommend them.
