Things went very well. Everything was exactly what we were thinking. The price was fair but not necessarily a bargain. We are going to continue working them in the future.

A couple of the trees have died, but they have a 1 year warranty. I've been in contact with them to get this resolved and new trees planted. Otherwise, they always do a nice job.

They are fabulous people to work with, from the office staff to the employees to the owners. They do excellent quality work. They didn't miss a day and was here whenever they said they would. They worked long hours. I would recommend their work to others.

It went well. They trenched the areas for drain hoses, put in the correct pipes and equipment and everything now works better that ever..

I think we left too much to the planner and didn't give him enough input. The prices were so high, that we decided not to even negotiate with them.

The project went great! They communicated during the entire process. Their onsight Team was very nice and answered my questions. I would hire them again!

After receiving quotes from 4 additional contractors we decided to work with L & R. The reasons were: Angie's List high marks Professionalism in first interview Presentation and explanation of the quote Accommodating schedule wise I most acknowledge their quote was the highest but we were very satisfied with the finished project .

We had 5 different companies come out to give estimates. L&R was the last to stop by. The representative was on-time, professional and seemed very knowledgeable. It was a good meeting. When we got the estimate, we were shocked. The first 4 estimates came in around the same number. L&R's was a good 40% higher. I'm sure they do great work, just not for that price. Had their bid been competitive, we may have considered them.

L & R Landscaping came out and did a thorough survey of the project and formulated a great estimate for us. They also brought a number of sample photos which helped us see the visions for what the backyard would/could look like. The people we worked with were very confident and we could tell that they knew what they were doing. After we agreed to the estimate we scheduled the project with them as soon as possible. When they came to our house in mid-August everything only took about a week or two. They were very careful not to damage anything with the large equipment necessary to excavate the pool and fill it in as it required a number of large machinery to be brought through the front yard into the backyard. They were very detailed in how all of the work was performed and proper inspections were performed as well. We would recommend this company for any landscaping work and will definitely be contacting them for future landscape projects.

We did not accept this bid, too expensive. However, the contractor was knowledgable and experienced and I would have been fine having them come onto my property to do the work had the price been better.

They are wonderful. We looked at what needed to be done and they came out and did it. I am amazed at how they do follow through on all of their projects and how often the owner shows up to see if everything is okay. I don’t know if they are the lowest rate but I think they are equal to other people. What I value is that they are willing to work with me as a small landscape project person as opposed to a multi million dollar backyard. They have done things for us over the years and they have always treated us with the same kind of respect as if we were somebody doing a large project. We talked to them to put in some electrical system next year when all of the trees dried back. They did a fence and some plantings as well at one time. They re-terraced the backyard and put some privacy fence. They also put some plantings near the fence. I have not compared prices. I think they are a little higher but they support their team the whole year and I think you pay for what you get. The quality surpasses anyone I have ever worked with.

One call. Fair price. Completed while we were away. Done.

I was really happy with what they did and everything at the time, but then I came back and asked for a quote two years later, and their prices were astronomical. They were very punctual and did a nice job. It was a good quality job and everything turned out pretty good. I was happy with the job they did several years ago but I did not use them again. The price was pretty good the first time but it was outrageous when I went there the second time two years ago.

The team was courteous, on time, and professional. They were creative in the layout of landscaping in backyard. I love, and get so many compliments, on my landscaping!! They do charge more for their work, but I am VERY happy with everything they did!!

The price was just under $4000 for their services. Overall, it was very good. I thought that the workers that they had were very efficient and hardworking. I thought that the work that they did was what I wanted. I do think that when I was checking out places, they were a little bit higher than others, but I also liked what I heard when I spoke with them. It took a little longer than expected because of the rain, but the end result turned out well. There was a little bit of a delay here and there. I would use them again in the future.

Estimate was quick, professional, and thorough. Addressed and corresponded to the list of work I had requested. Arrived on time as scheduled. Work was done within one day. I was most impressed with the quality of the work and the thorough cleanup and restoration of my yard.Many thanks!!

The job went very well. Ron's team showed up on time, were very professional, cleaned up thoroughly and were respectful of our property. The job was started on time as promised and finished in a timely manner. They were also able to adjust easily when we decided to add another section of drain tile that I hadn't thought about during the initial consultation. We are no longer living in Minnesota, however, I would not hesitate to hire this company again.

Fantastic job. Performed work exactly as quoted. Attention to detail and willingness to accommodate a very picky homeowner seeking near-perfection. Workers all had 10+ years experience with the company and were very hard working and nice. I trusted them around on my property. Lyle (part owner) came by every day, and some days twice to ensure everything was being done as agreed to. I am exceptionally pleased with the quality of work and how nice the backyard looks. I will use them for other landscaping work when needed in the future.

The combined our wants with their own ideas. We liked the outcome. They did a really nice job for us. As they were working we weren't sure if we'd like it, but the end product was very nice. They were willing to work with our ideas. They worked well with our schedule to get the project done in time.They were a little pricey, but we'd use them again.

Ron Cemenski, is the guy we deal with. One of the trees died, and they came out and they are in the process replaced this tree, no questions asked. They planted a mixture of trees for us. They did a great job and we will use them again soon. We have used them off and on for 5-6 years. They always work with us in the billing process. They come out and they draw up the plans and make sure we are happy with the work. They are thorough and make sure they work with the customer and that they are happy.

L & R Suburban Landscaping Inc Company is renovating our entire back yard. They are very friendly. Some times it’s not the easiest to getting contact with them, as far as scheduling goes but other times they are okay. The owners came out initially to evaluate the site and give the proposal. They did a great job to figure out the landscape design. They have a good vision on how to improve things. We started out with some drainage correction in the fall. So what they have done so far is may be only one-eight of the entire project. They did some re-grading of our yard. They put in a dry well. That portion of the project that we had them do in the fall probably came up to $3000. Their workers are very nice and very respectful. They are easy to talk with. L & R Suburban Landscaping Inc Company is more expensive but I think that their quality of the work is better. We had hired a cheaper landscaping company to do work for us in the past and now we are correcting the work they did. So I think that with L & R Suburban Landscaping Inc Company so far, we’ve got what we’re paying for. If we would have gone with them in the first place, it would have been more expensive however; I think that it would have been done right. The job that they have done so far is so small compared to what the remainder of the job is that it’s hard to judge the quality of their work yet.

L&R is very professional. They came out to give an estimate - sent the estimate to me the same day. They followed up. Once they received a deposit, they came out very soon to do the work. I would recommend for professional jobs that you just can't handle yourself.

The plans drawn up by Ron were better than what we had generated on our own. The entire team was very professional from start to finish. We love the outcome - we enjoy it every day. The patio is beautiful and it looks like it will last for years. The plants and tree they installed are all healthy and doing very well. High quality all around.

It went just fine. They were pretty quick to respond to me and they were very professional. We're still in the process of deciding who we would like to go with.

It has been going great. They gave us a really great design work that we could really see what they would be doing and very professionally done. They were very courteous and they follow through on things very well. The workers are doing a very nice job and are not digging up things that they are not supposed to. We are just delighted with them and the price is about $26,000. Their price was very competitive and not the lowest price, but lower than most. They were very responsive and even if their office is closed they call me back.
