While my ottoman looks good, I won't bring my business there again. I was told my project would be done in mid December—then one of the employees got Covid. Things happen—I understood. When it was completed in January, I returned to pick it up and discovered they'd used the wrong fabric. There was no apology, only "That's too bad." I had to wait yet another week and when I asked for delivery (thinking they'd understandably save me the third trip), they told me "no" and that delivery would cost $70. While I'd been understanding of their timing and fabric issues, they were not willing to act in kind. Like I said, the ottoman looks good, but I won't go back.

Fantastic! This business provides on time, quality workmanship for a fair price. My chairs were returned to me better than new! The service was excellent too! I felt I was appreciated and well taken care of!

Very nice job

We set up an approximate time after Christmas to have the furniture upholstered. I picked out the fabric from a couple of the many books they had to choose from. The first part of February, Tom came to pick up the furniture and now it is the first of March and the furniture is back home. Tom and his staff did a wonderfully professional job. I could not be happier!

Tom Z. was the person I dealt with from my initial phone call until delivery of our furniture. I admitted that we had not had any upholstering done before and I was a novice with the process. He was so very helpful, down to earth, and available via phone or e-mail throughout with questions etc. He has an amazing business and was very helpful; we took home fabric books to match paint swatches and to see the fabric in all kinds of light per his suggestion. Our furniture was done and delivered exactly as scheduled and it came out even more beautiful than I had hoped. He reinforced the inner structure of an antique chair making it actually usable and not just a pretty piece! I wish I could afford to do more renovating ....I strongly recommend Ken's Upholstery, Tom was an absolute pleasure to deal with!!!!

Very knowledgeable on what fabrics types would work on these furniture pieces. Suggested ways to reshape the cushions for better fit in the curves of the rockers. Actual cost came in under the estimate even with the new cushion shapes and foam. The cushions look great and sit much better than the original ones. I highly recommend them.

I called and Tom Zulkosky said to come right over. His shop was busy with a custom order. He said they could have the cushions done in a few days even though they had the large custom order. He suggested an upgrade on the foam rubber for the cushions and it turned out even better than I had hoped. I fully recommend his shop's work. Excellent, easy to communicate with, fine quality work. I couldn't ask for better service

I had a matching sofa and love seat purchased a few years ago at a consignment shop because they were so comfortable and I loved the cinamon roll-type detailing on the arms, the flap skirt and ruffled edge on the top back of each piece. I needed to replace the worn fabric with a sturdy one that would hold up to constant use by adults and a toddler, plus make new cushions due to cat accidents. (Tom eased my embarrassment with his own animal stories.) He also had suggestions about raising the legs for a more comfortable sitting height, a longer skirt, and buying extra fabric if needed for replacing a cushion top if stained. I had fun looking through all the fabric options at their office and took some books home to see the fabrics with other furniture in the room. The fabric I selected came from a local vendor who delivered the next day. Tom worked around our schedule and completed both pieces in one week! The detailing matches the original I loved, it's still as comfortable as before, and I'm so pleased to have a "new" fresh-smelling couch that makes the entire room look updated. I highly recommend them and will use them again when I have a need.

The chair has been in our family for generations. I believe it was recovered once many years ago. The chair was in rough shape, needed new springs and ties, and fresh fabric. In addition, when I brought the chair in they pointed out that the arms of the chairs were cracked. They walked me through how they would work with the chair, indicating along the way how fragile it really was. They brought the chair back to very sturdy state structurally and the fabric I selected turned out excellent. There is no doubt that there was a tremendous amount of caring and detailed work that went into getting the chair to be a treasure for many more years to come. They estimated 4-6 weeks, but it was finished in 2.5 weeks.

Very well!! Tom Zulkosky is very nice and very helpful with regard to choosing fabrics. The work was top notch. I have several additional pieces to bring to them.

TOM WAS PATIENT AND POLITE AND GUIDED ME THROUGH THE PROCESS. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANYTHING REUPHOLSTERED. I PICKED THE FABRIC FROM A GREAT SELECTION OF BOOKS AND THE WORK WAS FIRST QUALITY, DONE WHEN EXPECTED AND ON ESTIMATE. THEY MAINLY WORK WITH DESIGNERS, BUT TREATED ME AS AN IMPORTANT CUSTOMER EVEN THOUGH I ONLY DID ONE CHAIR! IT WAS LIKE TAKING SOME WOOD TO THEM AND GETTING BACK A BEAUTIFUL CHAIR!
