Both jobs were and are being done as agreed to and they are doing a very good job. They are on a routine and they do a very efficient job that looks great and they make sure to clean up . I would highly recommend them.

I called for residential snow removal (driveway) after the huge snowfall of April 14-15, 2018, but Scott said they “only do commercial properties in St. Louis Park.” Rather dismissive, but at least he answered the phone—no one else has so far. Note to Angie’s List: Don’t include them in residential search results.

II have used them for irrigation. They did that last Fall. I haven't had them this year. They are awesome. The price was very reasonable. They have always been really good about communicating. They send an email and just say hey, we're gonna be in the area and if you want to be included, let us know and we'll add you into the schedule. I would say A across the board. For sure I will continue to use them.

I've called just randomly before to get like the lawn mowed and things like that because I was out of town, and they just figure out a way to fit me into their schedule and get it done. I like that they would allow me to call them and do like an ad hoc appointment. So in other words, they didn't require that I set up a monthly or weekly reoccurring service. They'll do just like a one-of project. I would say A across the board. I will definitely continue to use them.

In addition to plowing my driveway, Grounds Crew shovels my steps. They arrive promptly and do a very good job of plowing, right down to the cement. We had very little snow this year but they did keep the driveway clean, coming out times when I didn't think we had had enough snow to warrant their service. I appreciate that.

The service was excellent and the staffs were fine. They were prompt as promised. They left the area fine.

This is the fourth year using Grounds Crew fr snow plowing. Have had no problems. Show up promptly after snow ends and does a good job of clean up. Impressed enough to also use them to do some small landscaping work last Spring which also worked out well.

Great, Scott got back to me within a week with a reasonable quote for the season, we worked out a payment plan and they have plowed twice so far. They do an excellent job. I also was given a phone# I can call or text after hours for emergencies. I'm optimistic that I will get good service all season.

Grounds Cew did an excellent job. They were professional and quick, and were able to fit us in right away even though it wasn't particularly convenient for them. We would definitely use them again for this kind of work.

Scott and his business get an A++! My husband is out of town until Friday, our snowblower is broken and I'm pregnant and unable to move the heavy amount of snow that had built up over the weekend. Scott was able to get someone out to our house last minute to plow our driveway after a long weekend away. I would HIGHLY recommend his services to anyone looking for great service.

They have also been willing to come back out if I need an additional plowing.

I went with them personal because they're fairly close to me which is kind of important when you're dealing with snow and I had seen them in the neighborhood doing others so I knew they would be out this way. The do a good job and they're very quickly. They will at least do a path for you to get out and then they come back and they will finish up if it's a huge storm, they know you want to get going and then they come back and finish it up but they will get you out for sure. They have different contracts for you. You can do by snow fall or you can do by season.

They broke the siding of my garage that was in perfect shape with their snow plow when working on my neighbor's yard on MORE than one occasion. I told them to stop plowing into my garage and they did not listen. I've had the garage builder come out and assessed the damage on three different sides of the garage: vertical pillar, north wall, and east wall. The garage builder said it was a minimum of $500 to fix the garage and they also have to come out to match the siding. They also will have to do further assessment when the snow melts as it is covered in ice and we cannot see all the possible damage. About 2 weeks ago after the snow finally melted there is visible more damage to my garage. Their plowing broke the cement block at the northeast corner of the garage and cracked the north side of the cement blocks that goes through into the interior of the garage. I called and told him of this additional damage ann he said he would look at it but never heard from him. At first, in March Scott did come out to look at the damage and he initially made light of it saying, and quot;Oh, it's not that bad.and quot; He then told us to send him the papers. I have sent estimates via my garage builder to Scott in the mail and fax. I have repeatedly called him to discuss the issue further, he will not return my calls. I cannot afford to pay for the damages he's done. He takes no ownership, no responsibility. They are reckless, careless snow plow drivers. I got a new estimate from the garage builders last week because of the additional damage. I called Scott and told him that I was faxing it to him. I asked him to please call me to get this resolved. I also mailed the estimate to him on 5/4/2013. I called him again today and requested that he call me AGAIN but he does not return my calls. Since the beginning have been very patient and polite with him but apparently he does not take me seriously. This needs to be repaired now before the rains come and rot the wood pillar and further destroy the cement block and water leaks into my garage. REBUTTAL TO COMPANY RESPONSE: His response makes no sense and bears no relationship to the damage issue and his lack of responsibility. This has nothing to do with neighbor goodwill and nor neighbor relations. The focus is and has always been about his damage to my garage, period. He plowed snow and ice into my garage for 3 months. Just because his workers say they did not hit the garage does not mean they did not do the damage while ramming snow into it very forcibly with a bobcat and a plow. As I said before NO ONE else came near the garage and only his company could possibly have done the damage. There is damage on three parts of the garage and the corner block and foundation. I have always had reflectors placed out from the garage so that it would not be hit but they plowed them over with snow and covered them up. I also have wood 4x4's lining the perimeter of my garage to prevent damage from a parked car or equipment. It is very obvious that during the plowing they kept ramming the a wooden tie into the corner of the garage and therefore broke the corner block and foundation under it. This could only have been done by the repeated ramming of snow into the garage by the plow or bobcat they used. I called in Feb to tell them to stop plowing into the garage and on one occasion went out and told the bobcat driver to stop plowing snow into my garage and pointed out some of the damage that had already been done. All my requests to stop plowing into my garage were ignored. I contacted the garage builder, Sussel, because they built the garage and would know how to repair the damage properly. I had no input into the price nor fore knowledge of the cost to repair my garage. I just want it brought back to how it was before the garage was absolutely damaged by Grounds Crew Outdoor Services. UPDATE: A judge took my case and after reading my claim, examining the evidence of the damage to the garage it was decided that Grounds Crew/Scott Martinson were responsible and libel for the damage they caused. The court ordered that they pay to repair all the damage that they did to my garage. UPDATE - 1/02/14: In the late fall they used a leaf blower and blew her yard debris onto my property. I talked to the man and told him not to do that. He yelled at me that I was a liar. I pointed to the debris and he still called me a liar. Can you imagine a 70 year old woman being treated like that by a yard clean up person who saw what they had done and eventually did remove what they had put on my property. Now is the snow season. Update regarding the same issues. I have had the cement block and foundation repaired from the damage that Ground Crew did last winter. Well, now they have put snow onto the repair area that I had fixed. The simply cannot understand not to put snow onto my garage and property. They should have blown it onto her property and not mine. They have now covered with hard snow/ice particles the repair work that was done on the lower part of my garage to the foundation and cement blocks. They also put snow onto on the siding that is going to be replaced. Grounds Crew Company is determined to continually damage my property. Apparently the decision by the judge does not stop them from continually harass me and my property.

I called to get a quote on getting our driveway plowed due to the heavy snow. Scott was at our house in less than 10 minutes! He was really nice, friendly, and professional. We did not really call around for pricing but his price seems fair for the season. This was extremely prompt service and I was impressed.

They are very service oriented and easy to deal with. I would say on the negative side, they are not always great with follow up and follow through. That may be because I may have called the wrong squad and they have two squads in the company.

Previous years vacation plowing done by another contractor was less expensive but always seemed late in getting the job done after end of snowfall. I hired Grounds Crew for February and March plowing service after I got tired of blowing snow myself and needed a vacation. They were prompt in getting the job done. 'i'll be more proactive next winter and get multiple bids including Grounds Crew.

Grounds Crew has been very punctual every time we've had snow. They do a great job and have been very careful not to disturb anything on our driveway or garage.

My snow removal person couldn't handle the big snow storm on Dec 11th weekend with just a shovel. I had called my neighbor to see if he would plow my driveway when his contracted person came back for a second sweep of his property. The snow removal company agreed. After being stuck in my house for 3 days and still not plowed out, I started calling A-rated snow removal companies from the LIST. Out of several, I got one call back who couldn't do it and another I reached directly who does the neighbor's snow removal across the street told me to call him back in 5 hours. I then reached one of Ground's Crew Outdoor Services' ownes, Scott Martinson. He couldn't have been kinder. Even though he usually doesn't come this far east and even though his guys had but one hour of sleep, he promised they would be here in about an hour. Sure enough, bobcat and shovels in hand, they had me plowed out in no time. They were all so very kind to help me out. P.S. I'd had surgery just 3 weeks earlier on my right hand and was in a cast up to my elbow! I would recommend this company to anyone in the western suburbs. A++

After record breaking snowfall, when no one else would return my phone calls, Grounds Crew called me back within a matter of hours. Understanding what snow removal businesses had been dealing with for days, I only expected to get on the bottom of the list and be plowed-out in a few days, but I was plowed-out the very next day.

Many of my neighbors use snow clearing services and two things I noticed between my neighbor's services and Grounds Crew: Grounds Crew cleared our driveway faster (and our driveway is much larger than any of our neighbors) and they did a way better job of it. We were very pleased. I've never considered using a snow service before, but would totally consider using them. If you are reading this your search is over, give them a call. I am very critical of all services and I would rate them top notch. Very professional. Great guys. I also wouldn't think twice about hiring them for fall cleanup after seeing the thorough job they did. I will be recommending them to all of my neighbors.

We've been using Grounds Crew Outdoor Services for snow removal and they've been doing an excellent job so far. We've only used them one time so far but it's been going well. The only complaint I have so far is their punctuality. They've only come once so far when we had our first snowing and they were late, so we will have to see if this continues through the winter season.
