Description of Work: Provided service as an architect from the concept through the working drawings (June to August 2013).

Description of Work: We wanted an architect to design a three-season porch with an attached deck. We searched Angie's List and found Carl Gramentz, who had outstanding ratings, and in reading the comments of past projects, determined that Carl sounded like a perfect fit for our needs. From our very first contact with Carl, we knew that we were in luck. Carl came to our home to do a preliminary assessment of what we wanted. He came on time and exactly as promised. After discussing the project, he said he would be back in approximately two weeks with a preliminary plan. Again, he did exactly as promised and in less than two weeks, we had our preliminary plan in hand. We went over the plan in with Carl at that meeting and finalized the details. He said we would have the finished architectural drawings in approximately two weeks. Again, that is exactly what happened. We also asked Carl if he had had any experience with any contractors who would work in our area. He gave us several names and we are in the process of interviewing those as well as others we have found on Angie's List. We couldn't be more pleased with our interaction with Carl and our plans.

Description of Work: Nice guy, prepared some drawings for our bathrom addition and remodel. I would use again.

Description of Work: We were planning to re-model our existing huge bathroom in to two smaller size bathrooms one for common use and one for master bedroom. We had some ideas what we want to do and quote from many contractors but had no real plan of what exactly we would be doing. I emailed Carl asking for his work estimate and he was very generous to come and understand our goal, budget and the available space. After his initial glance at site he gave us his honest opinion and some facts that saved us a lot of time and money even though it was not in his favor. I would highly recommend him.
